Sanjay Leela Bhansali is an epic visionary. “Larger than life” is the best way to describe all aspects of his work.

When it comes to his leads, they’re both always strong in their own way, dealing with real emotions. The man is always an alpha male, macho, independent and yet grounded. Logical. The woman on the other hand, is the best of her kind, represening beauty and femininity in it’s truest forms.  Yet never a damsel, a woman who  knows how to take care of herself and her family and loved ones and still be social and a must, educated.

With regards to Saraswatichandra, as soon as I saw the promos, it is Nandini from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Jenny has always reminded me of Aishwarya even in her dialogue delivery. Here, look at the similarity in their attire and appearance. Gautum and Salman Khan have the same eyes and nose.

I love Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s take on the world, to see how he interprets life and through his eyes it all looks so much better. It’s fascinating to see how engrossed his characters become in love that you just want to be lost in that experience alongside them…

Can’t wait for Saraswatichandra to really kick in - it’s turning out to be a brilliant story so far!
