Mm. You sound like Nick.

The truth is, I can’t help my jealousy. It’s hard to make anyone understand. This… McKee fellow that’s been haunting the ask box for some time… The fact that it was a fling is no matter to me. What matters is that he can probably preform better than myself at various tasks. I don’t think Nick would leave, but…

I can’t afford to lose another lover.

He’s the only one I care about and I don’t think I would come out alright if someone just came by and stole my darling Old Sport away from me.

Mr. McKee is a threat.

Three words: Leo as Romeo. Boy fucked me up omg he is the only person who could ever hold a candle to jimin. I watch marvins room and Romeo + Juliet at least once a month cuz my thirst for 90's Leo will never be quenched 😍

WOW! 90′s Leonardo Dicaprio > today’s Leo. Also, I am a slut for Baz Luhrmann’s movies (or at least the ones I have seen). His version of The Great Gatsby is my absolute shit. I listen to that soundtrack too much tbqh. “Gatsby Believed In The Green Light” has been played 93 times according to iTunes. That’s fine. It’s chill. And the version of “When Doves Cry” from the Romeo + Juliet soundtrack has given me goosebumps every single time I’ve listened to it for about 15 years now.

I don’t care. Call me simple. I love how he takes classic texts and puts modern twists on them. Don’t give a fuck. Also I’m pretty basic and truly believe The Great Gatsby is one of, if not the, best pieces of American literature and I don’t think my opinion will ever change.

Also, side note (no one asked but you’re all just gonna have skip past this), my favorite song on the soundtrack for The Great Gatsby is “Over The Love” by Florence + The Machine (my favorite artist) so can we just take a moment to bask in that beauty, please?

MODERN LADIES: Daisy Buchanan (The Great Gatsby)

She was careless—she smashed up things and creatures and then retreated back into her money or vast carelessness, and let other people clean up the mess she had made.
