The Game of Thrones Compendium will be the world’s first collaborative, crowd-sourced compendium. The end result will be a printed and bound edition. Every entry chosen for inclusion in the printed book will receive a copy with their name listed as an author.
Q: Who can participate?
A: Anyone who lives in United States of America and its territories and possessions (“U.S.”), the United Kingdom, Brazil, and Canada and is at least 18 years of age or older the equivalent age of majority (legal adulthood) in respective countries.
Q: What do I need to do to participate?
A: You need to submit an original composition — artwork, photographs, crafts, music and analysis are all welcome. Your submission will be reviewed by a Council of Editors, and if accepted, will become part of the curated gallery of work.
Q: Do I win anything?
A: No you do not. This is not a contest. However, if your submission is accepted as a finalist by the Council of Editors, your work will be in the running for selection in the printed book. Every entry chosen for inclusion in the printed book will receive a copy of the Compendium with their name listed as a contributor.
Q: Who are the Council of Editors?
A:Our Council of Editors are Zack Luye, Laura Hudson, Kevin Hatch, Greg Hildebrandt, Arthur Chu, Gerald Brom, Tom Colicchio, and Nina Garcia.
Q: When will the book be published?
A: The book is scheduled to be released in 2015.
Q: When are submissions due?
A: The deadline for submissions is March 28, 2015 at midnight EST.
Q: Will you accept late submissions?
A: Unfortunately, we are not able to accept late submissions.
Q: What types of work can I submit?
A: Original artwork, craft, music, analysis, food or costumes! You can submit images, text and audio. All work must be your own and not contain any copyrighted material. For more information see our Submission Guidelines.
Q: Does my content need to be from a specific story or season?
A: All content should be related to actual events or storylines that have taken place in Seasons 1-4.
Q: Can I make more than one submission?
A: Yes! You are invited to submit as many works as you like.

A: No, unfortunately we will not be accepting video files.
Q: What types of image files can I upload?
A: Images must be submitted as a jpeg. All images must be under 10 MB. For more detail on image requirements, resolution and sizes please see our Specs.
Q: How many images can I enter per submission?
A: You may enter up to 6 images per submission.
Q: What types of audio files can I upload?
A: Audio must be in submitted in .MP3 format. All audio files must be under 30Mb.

Q: I can’t see my submission.
A: You can check on your submission via your dashboard. Once you have submitted an entry, it first needs to be moderated and if accepted, will be published online thereafter.
Q: Can I submit fanfiction?
A: No. At this time we are focused on events and storylines that have taken place in Seasons 1-4.
Q: Does the Council of Editors review every submission?
A: Yes, all submissions will be reviewed by the Council of Editors.
Q: What happens if my work is accepted by the Council of Editors?
A: If your work is accepted by the Council of Editors you will be notified via email and your submission dashboard. It will then be eligible for consideration for the published Compendium.
Q: What happens if my work is not accepted?
A: We’re proud of you for trying. But seriously, you are welcome to submit other entries, so please try again!
Q: Will all finalists be featured in the book?
A: No, not all finalists will be featured in the book. The Council of Editors will make the selections for the printed version.
Q: How will I know if my work is chosen for the book?
A: You will be contacted via email if your work is chosen approximately 30 days after submissions close.
Q: Do I keep the rights to my content?
