press play.

your digital girl,
pixellated and ready.
walk a path you carve
with my body. glass-caged
behind a screen,
something perfect
you can never hold.

build a world here,
take your girl, my heart,
my body. the only part
you’ll ever touch
is smooth plastic.
a mirage caught
in light and sound.

but the thing about illusions
is you can carry them
by the handful, let them fall,
refill your palms with only
your breath as fuel. a fistful
of losses will never measure
against the acres of possibility.

Sometimes when people lie to me I just stare at them and I really want to ask, “Is that what you’re going with? You sure you don’t want to try a little harder or maybe try the truth?” But then I’m just so amazed they think I’m that stupid that I just roll with it and realistically have black listed them in my mind.

She got me praying all hours of the night, say she want my heart, She pulling me to the river, drawing me with her siren's call, Done gave her my heart but now she wants my soul, Well I already sold it to the man in red, "Fell in love with your charm," but its a curse; cos am dead, Girl you're not who you say, bad girl they say you are Innocence isn't where am at, wear your crucifix bae Don't make me out all serious bonnie, slave to this bad religion, Unrequited love, praying at my shrine, cos I don't have a heart Like a dead man walking, I lay at your side, Make sure you're alright in my world, atleast that for you girl,

I gave her my heart but she wanted my soul

I wish Overwatch was instead of a game (or along side a game) a netflix cgi animated series

there would be season 1′s opening when the game/series comes out

Season 1 would follow the “setting up the series” including the establishment of character plots and include flashbacks and overlaps showing how different character arcs/plots will affect each other. Starting when Winston calls back Overwatch following Reaper’s attack on Gibraltar Watch Pont.

Season would LITERALLY end with Ana returning “from the dead” but not revealing to the cast, only the audience, and behind her – in her shadow a glitch would be seen to reveal the Sombra emblem.

s2 with the “shadow of Sombra” spurring the whole “plot progressing towards - who is Sombra?!?

Ana returns from the dead. Her old friends see her and learn of what happened. Her daughter comes to terms with the change and finally has her mother back. Ana and Jack discuss Reaper and she asks if there is any hope for him.

All character plots are starting to be affected one way or another, directly or indirectly by Sombra’s influence, actions and presence. Leaving all to wonder who or what Sombra is but some not directly going to seek it out, some waiting for more evidence or out right ignoring it because “It’s not their problem”

Season would End with the “leaked Sombra” character art character speaking about how it is time for their rise.

then we got s3 “Rise of Sombra”- following the leak of art for Sombra and the questions raised about everything related to them. Are they good? bad? chaotic good? chaotic bad? are they even ONE person or multiple people with this person as their leader or enforcer?!?

Season 3 would begin with it’s over all ending and the consequences of it,(the first episode would be the end/present- then the rest of the season would be right after s2- til that moment) allowing an entire season of guess work/fan theories, anticipation, etc plus allow for more rich push for wanting more.

Revealing of who/what Sombra is, character arcs will be reaching their high conflict points and turning points, overlapping arcs start closing to give way to grander ones (character plots giving way for SERIES plots)

S3 would be the “middle” of the series (ideally) allowing for 2-3 more seasons to conclude everything

EDIT- the bold and italicized are my “outlined concepts” of what I’d think would be cool for each season (so far), that’s with NO idea what Blizzard wants to do with their stuff, seeing as actual lore to my knowledge is like…dunno not really much is given to us compared to how much we make up

like the LORE behind Overwatch sometimes would make the game 100 TRILLION times cooler

I’d wanna write for that and come up with cool stories for those characters and arcs

but I got like no CONCRETE lore just 98% fan theories and 2% Blizzard confirmation

My only worry about them being in talks about getting a Season 4 for Girl Meets World on a new network is that they might change what is happening on the show. Rilaya is the relationship on the show. If the only way that this show can get picked up is to promise to have a hetero relationship with the leads then no thanks. Riley and Maya eventually being in a romantic relationship with each other is the only reasonable place for this show to go.

Maya’s head full of Rileys. Riley’s head full of rainbows and unicorns. Friends of Dorothy. In Christopher park. The brick and the statues. Maya’s heart full of hope. Maya’s drawlings. They are going to marry each other. The direct comparison to the other end game relationships on the show. Sense and sensibility. Whatever you want. I would do anything for you? I know. That girl pushed those doors open with the power of love. If this is my world now, the first person i want in it is you. I know that if you’re lucky in life, you get an extraordinary relationship. My mother and my father met each other very early and stayed together for the rest of their lives. Our first boyfriends, Maya. Who knows how long that’s going to last? We’re going to meet new people all of the time. But, if there’s one thing i know for sure in my life, it’s that you are my extraordinary relationship, Maya.

This is where the show has been building, unless it is blatant and terrible queerbaiting the like of which i have never seen, then that is where the show is going. I don’t want more show unless it continues where it began.

Happy Writing!

I become exhausted of myself,
see that’s the curse.
I can’t hold my own attention so what hope is there
that I can hold someone else’s?
the sun is magnificent
but eventually you learn of the predictability

6 Journal Games For When You Don't Feel Like Writing.

Trying to keep a journal, but not in the mood to write? Here’s six games that will challenge your creativity without challenging your writer’s block.

1) Names: write a person’s name for every letter of the alphabet. The more common a name is, the better. For an extra challenge, write different alphabets with girls, boys, and neutral names.

2) Word association: write down the first word that comes to your head. Then, write down the first word that the original word makes you think of. Do the same for the word you wrote second. For example, if you wrote ‘dog’ you might think 'bone’ which might make you think 'skeleton’ etc. Continue the chain until the page is full.

3) Goals: write your dream job at the top of the page. Then, write the job that comes before it underneath. For example, if you write 'president’ then underneath you would write 'vice president’, and 'state governor’ under that. Continue this until you reach a job that is available to you. Now you have a career path!

4) Animals: create new names for animals based on their functions and appearance. For example, 'cow’ might be 'horse brick’, or 'penguin’ might be 'snow chicken’.

5) Understanding: describe a person who you hate and list their actions that have made you hate them. Under each action, write what they could have done instead. Think about why they didn’t do the things that you’ve written, and write down possible reasons.

6) Self: Draw a Venn diagram with three circles. Lable these 'public’ 'private’ and 'with friends’. Then, write adjectives that describe the way you act and feel in each situation. Briefly describe why you think the circles might have different words.

Tips and Ideas for Writing Characters

The plot of your story can be fantastic and original but if the characters are stereotypical, unoriginal characters who are both annoying and out of place with the story. Hopefully this will give you some ideas on how to prevent that.

  • Flaws - Everyone has flaws, most of these flaws will out way the positive traits. The most common ones are stubbornness, thoughtlessness and selfishness. These should put your character in awkward or bad situations because we need our flaws to learn about the world and gain experiences. Very rarely should a flaw help or be convenient for character and most people are not aware of them. Examples of realistic characters with flaws: Harry Potter, Karkat Vantas and Tyrion Lannister.
  • Good=Bad Traits - Sometimes however, we can ignore the above idea if it is applied in the right way. Sometimes being stubborn can help us get things done, sometimes being giving can make people take advantage of you, being quiet and modest can be a seen as rudeness and weakness. Everything changes from person to person. A good flaw to one person can be a bad flaw to another and visa versa.
  • Subtly - We are a lot more subtle than we like to make out in media. Sometimes we hid our feelings and thoughts in little ways, such as hiding the truth under a realistic lie or hiding shame under good actions. Sometimes the most subtle way to tell something in a story is shown from an action, such as hesitation to do something or talk to someone. It’s the subtle things that define our characters and make them interesting. Try making a list of 10 things your readers will never know about your characters to make them develop more.
  • Interests - Do not, for the love of God, give your characters stereotyped interests. Not everyone hates maths and likes art. People can have contrasting interests. Such as liking poetry and sports, maths and design. A lot of people go into jobs in the heavier subject but do the lighter subject as a hobby to balance themselves our. Google interests and speak to people about how they feel their interests have made them grow, remember that interests are not always the easy ones.
  • Reactions - No one in their right mind sees magic for the first time in their life and goes “OMG so cool!” - you’d run and scream and question your sanity until you forgot about it. Sometimes the realistic reactions are the best one, because it can make your character interesting but also can add some humour to them as well.
  • Out in the Real World - Now this one can vary a bit, is there anyone you know that gets everything they want in the real world by just demanding it but you (in place of the MC)? Is there anyone who is hated by absolutely everyone for no reason? No? Correct answer. Sometimes the things some characters get away with in stories is horrendous. No. Create conflict or situations because someone cannot get out of a situation by some far flung way. Think the failed Indiana Jones gun to a sword fight.
  • Social Life - People who are popular are not always bad/nice. People who have very few friends are unhappy/outsiders. Realistically, people are a mixture between the two. Sometimes people have something about their personality that draws others to them. Sometimes people are happy with their small click. It does not define their personality. Most people are on a reasonable bases with the majority of people, with several friends and several people they cannot get along with for whatever reason (usually a personality clash/similarity). Examples: Ron Weasley, Kanaya Maryam, Edward Elric, Steven Universe.
