I just gave control of my webex to someone and I’m bored as hell. They’re monotone and I can see by the chat that everyone tapped out too. Poor girl. Crack jokes, call people, ENGAGE!! People have short attention spans. It’s after lunch. Nap time calls.

So rambling I am…

I love that tattoo placement. “sisters” within an infinity heart. It’s with my sister in law. 🙄 I love her, but she’ll flip on you in a second flat. Arms length.

One gallon per day

Okay so I know that drinking water is the most reiterated thing ever and also one whole gallon per day sounds like a ton, but here is how/why I do it and why you might also benefit.

One gallon seems like a shit ton of water to drink, but it’s really not hard. I use the big mason jars that hold 4 cups and all I do is drink 4 in a day (4x4: 16 cups). I always drink with a straw because you actually drink more naturally when you have a straw, idk why. It’s just easier and I can honestly finish a whole quart really quickly because of it.

Anyway, once you start with a gallon a day, there are two main benefits that I have been loving (and I’m sure there are more).

1) bloating/weight loss: often, people think they are hungry but are just dehydrated. If you’re trying to lose weight or just be healthy in general, drinking water will help curb appetite and stop cravings. I’m no expert, but in my personal experience, it had helped me lose a couple pounds without doing anything differently.

2) skin: particularly, those annoying red bumps on your face that aren’t full-on whiteheads so you can’t pop them, but no matter how hard you try, they are always there. You know what I’m talking about. As soon as I started a gallon per day, they DISAPPEARED. I’ve always had decent skin, but this made it even better.

I do not enjoy having a collection of sticky notes covered in conversation topics because you never held up your end
It’s true that one person always loves more but the other side needs to give something

Seems like the more I travel the less I need these days. I love refilling banged up gallon water jugs that have lived a hard life in the back of my truck at the store, while getting funny looks like we’re hobos. Or just cooking simple meals in a skillet over campfire coals every night. Those sort of details ground a man into what’s important. Now I clearly see it ain’t about getting to an epic location, or having the neat camera, it’s about how well you loved everyone along the way. Guess what I’m getting at is you don’t need a fancy rig or bunch of prefect gear to get out there and live it.

Self care

Ok so I really believe that if you feel good about yourself it will radiate through you and you will look beautiful because of your confidence. And self care and healthy lil tips make me feel beautiful so:

Drink water. You know those annoying red bumps on your face that aren’t full on pimples so they’re really hard to get rid of? Drink a gallon of water every day. It sounds like a lot but they will disappear, and water has so many other benefits with skincare and weight loss.

Moisturize! I love almond oil for my face because it’s like coconut oil except it won’t clog your pores. Honestly as long as you consistently moisturize your face and body with some kind of lotion you’ll see benefits, it’s not complicated.

Exfoliate! Okay you can go buy an expensive exfoliated but if you’re ballin on a budget just mix some oil (coconut, olive, almond, etc.) with some sugar for your body, or with baking soda for your face. The baking soda is gentler.

Apple cider vinegar! Shits not tasty but if you add a tablespoon to a big glass of water plus some lemon (and stevia to taste) to begin your day there are benefits to your metabolism and anti bloating properties.

As for holy grail skin care ingredients, I love turmeric. Combine 1 tsp turmeric powder, 2 tbsp flour, 2-3 tbsp milk, 1 tbsp almond or coconut oil and a little bit of honey. Put on face for 20 minutes and wash off. You will glow.

Take baths because they are so great. Light some candles, get some wine or a good book, whatever makes you relaxed. There is literally a bath for everything. Sore muscles? Epsom salt. Trying to balance your skin’s ph (aka you have a dick appointment)? ¾ cup apple cider vinegar. Dry skin? Oil or oatmeal. So many options.

As for makeup, I found that when I quit makeup I found more confidence in myself and less pressure to look perfect, but if you want to beat your face every day then do it! I admire the dedication. Do what makes you feel beautiful because if you feel good, you look good.

Take care of yourself, you deserve it.

Can i just start drinking 27 gallons of water a day? Because i would be dead AND have clear skin and that sounds like the greatest combo of all time

WATER only WILL NOT CLEAR ACNE

I have seen several posts of people saying drinking water has not helped their acne. Some people are lucky enough where a  water only routine keeps their skin clear. Others are unfortunate (like me) where a water only routine will not keep their skin clear.

I’m a firm believer in drinking a gallon of water a day.  Water is key to life and to beautiful skin. Since taking my water intake seriously, I have seen a change in my skin. My skin is more moisturized and looks more healthy.  Water has done wonders for my skin, but it is not my only way of keeping my skin clear of acne. I have developed a routine of toning, moisturizing, and exfoliating my skin.

If you drink lots of water and your skin is still breaking out, you might have to try different ways of fighting acne in addition to drinking water.

Daily Reminder💕

1) Drink AT LEAST a gallon of water throughout the day. Ice cold water is the best.
2) Yoga is amazing both mentally and physically.
3) Reward yourself with music. During your workout, play music you normally don’t listen to then at the end you can reward yourself with your favorite song.
4) Sleep for at least 8 hours each night. Don’t sleep all day!
5) Put effort into your appearance. It’s easier to wear the same hoodie for a week straight with your hair in a 2 day old bun, but wouldn’t you look better in a cardigan and some cute boots?

My goal for this week is to get back on track as much as possible. That includes:

Staying within my daily calories

Working out at least three times

Getting my sleep

Drinking a gallon of water a day

Taking my vitamins/supplements to rebuild my immune system

I am absolutely done with being sick so here’s to slowly making myself stronger.

I’m really down today.. I really just want to give up. I weighed myself for the first time since January. I have not lost any weight at all. Progress pictures look no different at all. I just don’t understand.. I’m working out 4-5 days a week. I’m taking a walk every hour instead of sitting constantly. I’m eating better, less snacks, having more control over late night cravings. I’m drinking almost a gallon of water a day. As someone who’s just starting is this normal?? 😔

FEELING SO GOOD

So last thursday I knew that I wouldnt be able to work out the next day so I really did push myself and did two 40 minute workouts!! It was great. 

Aside from that, I ate kinda poorly this weekend but did maintain my gallon a day.

TODAY THOUGH

I drank a gallon of water! I ate pretty healthily (banana breakfast, granola bars, black bean chili, and…well..pizza) but I did a full 60 minute cardio BOXING workout. It kicked my butt but I literally did the full hour! No breaks. No modifications (until the last 4 minutes). THEN I felt so good this evening that I just finished a 40 minute cardio ab workout from fitness blender.

I LOVE loving myself. I love putting as much energy into myself as I do others. Feeling good about myself makes me feel good about other things in my life and all I want to do is go further.

Freaking 60 minutes and 40 minutes. 100 minutes is the most that I’ve done in a day (I think).

I read this last night and part of me didn’t want to answer it because it looked so good in my ask box ; u ; awuh… I love you so much my darling daffodil ♡ I associate you with reptiles, moe girls, megane, sunbeams, sleepiness, sloths, designer bags (eye bags), Harney and Sons, maids, labradoodles, shitting dick nipples, eye wrinkles and the most ideal human being. You’re just so sweet. You give me so much hope and strength from so far away and I cannot wait until we meet each other irl in like…. 2 weeks?!

How did you loose the weight? I mean this is amazing!

It is really just a matter of eating less calories, low sodium and low fat. Higher content of protein and fiber, along with lots of fruits and veggies. Drinking tons of tea (once a day i add 1.5tbsp of apple cider vinegar to my tea), i also drink at least a gallon (128oz) of water/tea a day. 

I try as much as I can to get around 8 hours of sleep a night, sleep is necessary for a good metabolism.

Lastly I exercise like a mad woman. I get at least four days of cardio, where I run a minimum of an hour, burning around 900cal. At least three days a week I do body weight circuit training or weights training to maintain muscle mass which helps sustain a kick ass metabolism. 

There are, of course, lots of little things I also do. I also don’t stick to my plan 100% of the time, I’m not perfect, I binge, I skip workouts, but I try to just move forward when I mess up.

I have combination skin so depending on the weather my skin always bounces back and forth from being dry to oily, and remember everything that may work for me may not work for you.
I switch it up in the summer because I usually get a little more oily then the winter where I’m more on the dry side :(
WATER IS VITAL ! I drink at lest a gallon a day. Try to drink as much as you can throughout your day!


These are my usual routines but I do switch it up everyday, you don’t have to do all of this everyday because products are expensive but try to keep up with it.

i only use foaming cleansers * I don’t like the

Black Mask; * you can buy this at sephora *I leave this on for at least 25
minutes.
-Thayers Witch Hazel *ROSE PETAL* I’ve never
used plain witch hazel only this one, this is also
a good toner.
-Sephora Under Eye Mask; My favs are avocado, rose, green tea & pomegranate.
-Rose Hibiscus ( PEABODY & PAISLEY APOTHCARY) which is my favorite or (Herbivore, u can get this a sephora)

Before bed-
If I have a pimple(s) I’ll use my Proactiv, a lot of people don’t like Proactiv but it has always worked for me.

Clarisonic 1-2 a week ( This opens up your pores which makes your skin very sensitive so don’t use this everyday or even that often)
When I have acne scars I use Lemon juice and vitamin E oil, African black soap (ABS)

ABS works well for me on scars but it pulls all the oils and moisture out of your skin so I usually put skin drink on after I use this soap on my face.

Rose

It’s always good to exfoliate your skin just don’t over do it, & always use warm water on your face when cleaning because it opens up your pours :)

2 months ago I decided to make a few lifestyle changes and now I am beginning to reap the benefits of becoming healthy. I am the strongest I’ve ever been not just physically but emotionally, mentally and spiritually!

Eat CLEAN - 6 out of 7 days a week.
I eat one cheat meal a week. Typically on Sundays after church! I had to learn to reward yourself for all of my hard work. One meal isn’t going to make you gain what you’ve lost back & this is a way to keep u from missing your favorite foods.

Drink your WATER babes - A gallon of water a day makes the pounds go away!!!

GYM flow - 30 minutes to an hour of cardio 4 to 5 times a week. Men, channel your inner gym rat. Women, channel your inner gym mouse, mice are cuter than rats!

7. Tips?

B. Walk six miles a day. If you don’t have a fitbit download the pacer app. If you do have a fitbit PM me your email and I’ll add you.

C. Do one self love thing a day. It’s really Important for helping with emotional eating. I like to do face masks, wash my face, exfoliate my whole body, and whatever else I can come up with. Lemme know if you want my home made exfoliation recipe. Or you can just mix Epsom Salt with whatever shower gel you use.

12. Thigh gap or Collar bones?

I definitely would like to have a thigh gap but collar bones are some of my favorite Thinspo. The last time I can remember my thighs not touching I was twelve years old and had not yet hit puberty.

18. Favorite band or artist?

I go through phases of who I like a lot currently. I don’t obsess over bands but I do like to listen to anything that isn’t County/Western. Lately I’ve been listening to Hollywood Undead, Chevelle, Godsmack, Element Eighty, and Drowning Pool.
