Pictures 1-3: Driving from Gaborone to Jwaneng. There are food stands everywhere. What I love about these stands is how the food is healthy, organic, natural, and cooked in front of you, not to mention very inexpensive. You can get a nice lunch for the equivalent of a $1.
Pictures 4-6: Botswana is not very urbanized. These are very common sites even within the cities.
Pictures 7-9: At one of my friends’ house. I have some very good friends in Botswana that I went to university with. Here we started talking about politics and in a joking way I was discussing the utter ridiculousness of our mainstream media and society when it comes to discussing and understanding some of the major world affairs.
