“The pink one?”
“Yes.”
“Of course. But it’s a surprise. So we mustn’t say anything, OK?” “OK.” Stepping through the front door with all the enthusiasm of Christmas, she hollers: “Mummy mummy! We bought you a card! It’s a surprise!”
