Meet the Masters of the Seasons! From left to right: Fuyu of Winter, Haru of Spring, Natsu of Summer, and Aki of Fall. They command the dimension surfers through the Leaders of each season, and some of them have parental relationships with some of the surfers.
Imagine lethal cooking running in the Nomura family for as long as any of them can remember. Imagine the older Kageyamas being super tense the first time any of the younger ones cook for the first time, afraid Kiyomi’s ‘talent’ was passed down to them.
Imagine Miho, when she was seven or eight or so, watching KHR and believing it’s real. Imagine her mistaking the cooking in her mom’s side of the family for Poison Cooking and asking to meet ‘Auntie Bianchi’ (I remember at one point it was said that Miho loves anime). Imagine her now being super embarrassed about the whole thing, so naturally the more playful of her siblings bring it up whenever they can.
Imagine Mio and Kanna already planning Tobio and Hinata’s wedding. Imagine them asking a tailor who prays at the Nomura’s shrine to make a wedding dress for Hinata. Imagine the tailor actually designing it, but advising the girls to wait until the actual date of the wedding is decided before taking measurements.
Imagine Kiyomi, Mrs. Hinata and Mrs. Tsukishima meeting at Parents’ Evening and becoming instant BFFs. No one was surprised about Hinata and Kageyama’s moms getting along, but everyone was a bit shocked to see them with Tsukishima’s mom, who’s actually very loud and upbeat and loves superhero comics, and Hinata’s like ‘But why?’ and then his mom’s like ‘But why not?’.
Imagine Mio and Miho not responding when people accidentally mispronounce their names a bit and end up using the other’s name because ‘Sorry, I thought you were talking to my cousin for a second there’. It’s even worse when it happens with both of them in the room.
Imagine Mio having been in the archery club at school, and still being close friends with an upbeat girl who was in the karate club, Natsuki, an overachieving goody-goody girl who was in the school newspaper, Akiko, a snarky boy who was in the literature club, Haru, and a deadpan boy who is Natsuki’s older brother and was in the swimming club, Fuyu. Imagine Mio being touchy about being the only one in the group without a season in her name. Imagine Miho laughing after meeting them because ‘Fuyu and Haru should switch names, then it’d be like in Free!!’. Imagine Natsuki running a big-name dojo, Akiko working for her mom’s popular newspaper/magazine in Tokyo, Haru studying literature at Tokyo U, and Fuyu being Nekoma’s swimming coach. Imagine Mio mopping about being the only one of her friends who isn’t married yet (Natsuki married Haru, Akiko married Fuyu) or doing something ‘cool’ with her life.
Imagine Mio getting Akiko to write an article about the Karasuno volleyball team and make it a front page thing, releasing in with the issue that’s on Tobio’s birthday. Imagine Karasuno and the other teams that know them like ‘What?’ and Hinata like ‘But why?’ and Tobio overwhelmed by feelz but dreading what the article says because Mio loves embarrassing people. It’s being a normal article, making Tobio relax a bit, but then he reads the last sentence, which was ‘P.S: Tobio, was Mio serious about you and Hinata getting married? Am I invited?’. Reactions varied.
It has been a while since I posted something and that’s because I had decided (rather late in the game) to participate in the design contest by Amigurumipatterns.net I designed a family of Crocodiles; Mama Blanca, Papa Kin & their daughters Aki, Fuyu, Haru & Natsu.
I submitted my entry saturday (12-13-14) and my entry was added to their contest page today.
