“Your relationship is symbolized through the pouring of these two individual containers of sand; one, representing you, Sarah and all that you were, all that you are, and all that you will ever be, and the other representing you, Michalene and all that you were, and all that you are, and all that you will ever be.
Each one holds its own unique beauty, strength and character. They can stand on their own and be whole, without the need of anything else. When the two are blended together they represent an entirely new and extraordinary love relationship.”

That was the day that I married my other half. Before I met Sarah I never truly understood such a love: supportive, trusting, intimate and passionate. When I am with her I feel strong, free to be myself.
Every second I spend with her, experiencing the world with her and learning more about her (and myself); every moment makes me love her more and more.
I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us
Thank you @rebeccasugar (and the crewniverse) for inspiring our wedding’s theme, fusion. You are doing such amazing things through Steven Universe! Thank you.
Thank you to our family and friend for their acceptance and support. I really can’t even begin to thank you all enough. (As an only child I’m also excited to have a sister and brother-in-law now :P ) Our family just got a lot bigger :D
tbh when i made that post i didn't know if shun would wear a dress but a few days ago i saw this post about brides in japan turning their ceremonial kimonos into wedding dresses so i can definitely see him doing that
I think he might! Isn’t that such a neat style?
I like to imagine that for the ceremony proper he’d do a cross between the traditional Shinto groom and bride attire. He would wear a haori but in all white (to match the shiro the bride wears), and maybe a cute mini lace veil with his hair in a bun for a nice little modern twist. And winged eyeliner. B/c Shun goes all out for the big day X3
I bet he’d do the kimono/wedding dress fusion for the reception! :D
Rare wedding photos taken at the end of Qing Dynasty. The traditional gowns and attire is still worn today by some newlyweds. What is rare in this photoset is the fusion of Manchurian-Han wedding gowns and the men wearing Qing Dynasty governor uniform.
Got inspired by a post I saw at what I saw at cldrawsthings dash sooooo uhhh
Yeah here’s what I think they would look like (even tho Lapis ain’t around here) and I kinda failed at the mouth and the fingers so yeaaaah
From Garnet's song I think it is implied that the old gems fused when they fell in love? Like a marriage? FUSION CERIMONIES LIKE A WEDDING WITH FRIENDS AND MUSIC and oh Ruby and Sapphire fused so easily it was barely a dance! SO MUCH NEW INFO
Oh I agree! To me Garnet’s fusion speaks as a living relationship/embodiment of their love. She is together what they cannot be apart!
This episode has it all - laughs, cries, Shannon saying inappropriate things while wearing a mustache, and Will Ferrell going into left field and harassing one of the couples in particular. On top of that, a musical performance by one of the great friends of TCGS, Mal Blum!
This episode was stressful and emotional to organize, but ultimately I walked away feeling so lucky that I get to spend my summer doing this. This episode really made me remember why I fought so hard to get this little show made.
A massive THANK YOU to everyone who watched, supported, and helped make this happen. And the biggest thanks of all go to our three brave couples who got married in such a weird way!
