full of monsters

nico is still my favourite character of basically all time for a lot of reasons but i’m still really fascinated by the idea that a 10 year old child with essentially no memories to fall back on can be so smart resourceful and strong-willed enough to survive for such a long time in a labyrinth full of death and monsters. like he got “help” eventually in the form of minos but given how nico is through the rest of the series i would not be one bit surprised if he survived on his own for a few weeks first. my favourite boy

Did you know? When octopuses are caught in the act of moving rocks and destroying the hard work of their aquarists, they drop everything and slowly back away like nothing happened.

Where are you
Oh you

Me and you
Oh you

I call you moonchild
Yes we’re livin and dyin
at the same time

Where are you
Oh you

Me and you
Oh you

English

I wrote a long letter
to the moon one day
It isn’t brighter than you but
I lit a small candle

The nameless bird that sings
in the park at dawn
Where are you
Oh you

Why are you crying
It’s only me and you here
Me and you
Oh you

Your singing voice,
That follows deep into the night,
brings the scarlet morning
One step, then another step

Dawn passes by and
When that moon falls asleep,
then the blue light that was with me
disappears

Today, too, I go on living just enough
Keeping in step, wearing my feet out just enough
The sun makes me breathless
The world has stripped me of all I have
Without a choice, with no other alternative,
Under the moonlight I am picking up my scattered self
I call you moonchild
We are the children of the moon
We draw breath from the cold air of dawn
Yes we’re livin and dyin
at the same time
But right now it’s alright to open your eyes
Because like any movie, like any dialogue (from a movie)
The whole world is blue under the moonlight

The nameless bird that sings
in the park at dawn
Where are you
Oh you

Why are you crying
It’s only you and me here
Me and you
Oh you

Your singing voice,
That follows deep into the night,
brings the scarlet morning
One step, then another step

Dawn passes by and
When that moon falls asleep,
then the blue light that was with me
disappears

Your singing voice,
That follows deep into the night,
brings the scarlet morning
One step, then another step

Dawn passes by and
When that moon falls asleep,
then the blue light that was with me
disappears

Ol’ Scoob saw a ghost, which flung him from a bathtub into the basement, and then chased him around. Oh noes!

He tells Fred and Shaggy about it, but after checking the bathtub…

…they get really incredulous, cheesed off, and don’t believe him.

Fred says, angrily, “You’ve sure got some imagination!”

Meanwhile, Scooby’s all like

“Uh… guys? Remember earlier this season?”

“Y’know, with the possessed suit of armor… and the haunted castle… and the glowing scuba diver… and the creepy miner… and the dognapping shaman guy… and the blue-faced ghoul… and the giant ape man… and the living puppets… and the hypnotizing clown… and the second castle full of monsters… and the petrifying mummy… and the witch’s zombie… and the ghost pirates… and the alien specter with a haunted airfield of clones?”

“…is a ghost and a bathtub really where you draw the line of believability?”
