The illegal settlement of Deadwood in the 1870s. The Black Hills Gold Rush gave rise to the lawless town and was built on territory granted to the American Indians. Deadwood became known for its wild an almost lawless reputation, during which time murder was common, and punishment for murders not always fair and impartial. On September 26th, 1879, a fire devastated Deadwood, destroying more than three hundred buildings. Many left town to start again elsewhere.

DIY Galaxy Print Tutorial!

I don’t know about you guys, but I LOVE the galaxy print apparel that I keep seeing (like the leggings from Blackmilk, above). I stumbled across this tutorial on how to make your own print at How to Own It by Gabrielle. She also has some other awesome tutorials, like how to make a floral headband, AND customize white canvas shoes.

Go forth… make the final frontier out of an old black shirt! :)

I can’t believe these outfits are out already…and that I somehow managed to get enough of them to make a custom before they sold out x3 they were kiiinda a big part of why I started playing AK (I hadn’t even seen the lolita dresses, or unicorns yet) Now I can’t wait to see what they come out with next! (although my wallet probably isn’t quite as excited)
