“You didn’t have to walk me to the door.” You giggled quietly, coming to a stop at your front door and angling your body to smile up at Sheriff Stilinski. He rubbed at the back of his neck with a small shrug, casting a glance at where his patrol car was parked at the curb in front of your house.
“Wanted to make sure you got in okay.” He offered as you fished through your purse for your car keys. Pulling the keychain from your bag you slid the key into the lock and opened the door, letting it swing open freely.
“Well thank you.” You smiled shyly once more. “You’re a perfect gentleman.” Before you could lose your nerve you stepped forward, closing the gap between your two bodies and pressing a chaste kiss against the Sheriff’s lips. Pulling away quickly you stepped inside and began closing the door behind yourself. “Goodnight, Sheriff.” Before he could even process what had happened you had shut the door and locked it, heavily leaning your back against the cool wood as you grinned widely to yourself.
