from pages to screen

Fearless storytelling. It grips you from scene one, on the page or on the screen. #QueenSugar
In case you don’t know, there’s a new edition with a new cover! Introduction by Ava DuVernay and Author Natalie Baszile.

13 reasons to watch "13 reasons why"

1. Such an important story to tell that happens to teenagers every day all over the world

2. The show does not shy away from important yet difficult to handle topics

3. Self harm, suicide and mental illness are not romanticized which is sadly still often the case in a lot of tv shows

4. The characters are so diverse !!

6. The characters are very real, you might hate some of them but still sympathize with them on another level

7. All the important character on the show get actual screentime

8. The show shows how important it is for a school to be involved with their students and to have proper policies and consequences when it comes to bullying and harassment

9. The show really shows how something that seems small can have a major impact one someone’s life and how that can lead them downwards a dark vicious spiral

10. The show doesn’t shy away from the portayal of suic*de and r*pe, not for a schock effect but to show how horrible these acts and their effects afterwards are.(trigger warnings are shown before these particular episodes start!!)

11. The show really excelled in bringing the show to life from page to screen in such a way that you can really relate to these characters even though not all of them are good .

12. 13 reasons why is so different from other shows and stories as it isn’t really a love story or a story that starts sad and end happily ever after but it is instead a story that starts sad and stays sad but is not less if not more intriguing than your average young adult tv show.

13. And lastly 13 reasons why portrays not just the story of one person but the story of a community and how quickly everything within affects one another, it doesn’t just tell a story of bad guys and good guys but of actual people who’ve made both good and bad decisions in their lives.

Determination is yellow

(undertale spoilers)

Determination is “the will to keep living… the resolve to change fate.” It’s the power that gives human souls “the strength to persist after death.” It is so powerful that it brought Flowey to life and gave him the power to control the underground’s timeline.

Because many people believe the red soul represents determination, some players associate determination with the color red. However, determination is found in all human souls, and there is evidence that all of the fallen humans had the power to save, load, and reset. Furthermore, there is a strong link between determination and yellow – the save point.

In Entry Number 5, the word “Determination” is in yellow (and contrary to popular belief, “Determination” is never written in red). The lab entry is written by Alphys, so she would know the color of the determination she extracted from the souls. While it is not the exact same color as the save point, it is extremely close. Closer than the other yellows found in the game, such as the golden flowers. Coincidentally, Flowey is also the same color yellow as the save point. It’s possible he became this brighter yellow after being injected with determination.

However, the most conclusive evidence is from the Undertale Demo’s instruction pages – specifically the TITLE SCREEN page.

The save point is literally “the manifestation of your own DETERMINATION.” While these instructions are not included in the official release of Undertale, the statement makes sense. Determination is the source of the power to SAVE and CONTINUE/LOAD. It also ties in nicely with the facts that the color yellow is used for selection in the main menu and the save menu turns yellow on a successful save.

Ultimately, there is more evidence that determination is the color yellow rather than red.

Important Note: Please keep in mind that the color of determination is separate from the human soul traits and colors. The yellow soul has the trait Justice, and this analysis does not change that. What this analysis provides is a more appropriate color for the physical component found in all souls – determination – and this disregards it as a trait for the red soul. For those interested in what the red soul’s trait is, please read our theory, the red soul.

Wonder Woman: Exclusive New Look At Robin Wright

It’s taken 75 years for Wonder Woman to make the leap from page to silver screen. So it’s no surprise director Patty Jenkins is going in all guns blazing. After her scene-stealing turn in last year’s Batman v Superman, Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince will be riding front and centre in Wonder Woman when it arrives on 2 June.

Joining Prince on her idyllic all-female island home of Themyscira are her mother, Queen Hippolyta (Connie Nielsen), and aunt Antiope (Robin Wright) – the latter admitting a big reason for signing on was “to get in the best shape of my life at 50 years of age”. See “the greatest warrior of all time”, according to producer Charles Roven, in action in our exclusive image below.

Jenkins created an Amazonian boot camp for her film (“my body hated me”, recalls Gadot). “It was a riot,” Jenkins tells Empire. “We had 80 incredible women, all living in one Italian summer camp, from supermodels to the best female boxer in the world. It was rangy women just stalking around with their badass moves in droves, all becoming best friends and all super-intrigued by one another.”

With November 1918 providing the film’s alternate landscape, Wonder Woman will fill in the blanks regarding Prince’s ‘walk away from humanity’, as mentioned in Batman v Superman. “She comes from this heavenly place,” Gadot tells Empire, “then she goes to muddy, bloody Europe, and there’s death all over. This is mind-blowing to her.”

For much, much more on Wonder Woman, be sure to pick up the brand new issue of Empire, available in all good – yes, and evil – newsagents as of today.

8. Iko from Wires and Nerve by Marissa Meyer: The fiercest android in YA (we’re also pretty big fans of Cinder, Scarlet, Cress, & Winter!).
9. Kestrel from The Winner’s Curse by Marie Rutkoski: Proving clever is just as important as strong at every turn.
10. Lia from The Kiss of Deception by Mary E. Pearson: Taking her fate into her own hands like a boss.

Bad Things - Kai Smut One Shot

A/N: This is based off of the song “Bad Things” by Camilla Cabello and Machine Gun Kelly. Super smutty smut ahead. (Not my gif below!)

“Am I out of my head?
Am I out of my mind?
If you only knew the bad things I like
Don’t think that I can explain it
What can I say, it’s complicated
Don’t matter what you say
Don’t matter what you do I only wanna do bad things to you
So good that you can’t explain it What can I say, it’s complicated”

I was lost, meandering the pages of my favorite book. Swept up in a fantasy land of angels and chimera. My fingers teased the edges of the pages as I clung to every single word as I read words that, quite frankly, I knew by heart, but could never lose interest in.

My phone buzzed and drew my attention away from the pages. The alert flashed across my screen that I had received a text message from Jongin. I huffed a breath out. I knew that this interaction was more than likely about to annoy me more than it would benefit me at all. At least I could consider it entertainment, although I would have considered my book sufficient enough for the night.

 Receive: Hey you.
Send: Hey Jongin.
Receive: What are you up to?
Send: Just reading. You?
Receive: What a fuckin’ nerd. Reading on a Saturday night.
Send: A nerd you’re texting on a Saturday night. What’s the matter? All your FWB busy tonight or something?
Receive: I like when you talk feisty to me, baby.
Send: Ew. Did you actually need something?
Receive: Yeah.
Receive: You 😜
Receive: Got any nudes to make my night more fun?

I rolled my eyes. There it was; the annoyance I anticipated.

Jongin and I had grown up across the street from one another. We had shared one kiss in high school at a party, and had never spoken of it again. He had turned into quite the, I believe the newest term was, “fuckboi” since we graduated, and, as hard as I tried in the past, I was unable to cut him out of my life. Eventually, I quit fighting the part of me that wanted to remain his friend.

We had become very different people with no more similar interests or friends. Occasionally, however, we would sneak around and actually hang out, for old time’s sake. We would never let our other friends in on the secret. The judgement that we would face if they knew that we interacted with one another would be harsh. As it remained, I did enjoy his company from time to time.

Send: Are you that drunk? You’re asking me of all people for nudes?
Receive: Nah. I can bring some booze over if you want though. My night has actually been kinda lame. I’d like to see you.
 Send: Sure. Come over whenever.

I laid my phone to rest on the nightstand and stood up. I walked over to my closet and checked the full length mirror that hung from my door. The black tank top that I had been wearing wasn’t too terrible. It flattered my figure well. I did shed my pajama bottoms and slid into a pair of floral shorts.

I was midway through brushing my hair out from being in a ponytail when I came to an abrupt halt.

"Am I out of my mind?! Why am I getting dolled up for Jongin, of all people,“ I asked myself, out loud, and shuttered when I realized what I was doing. I tossed the brush back on the bathroom counter, but managed one more glance over of myself right as the doorbell rang. I shook the nerves that had somehow snuck their way into my veins out, and brought myself back down to reality as I headed to open the front door.

As I reached to turn the knob, Jongin was letting himself in.

"Excuse you,” I exclaimed and crossed my arms as my, very forceful, house guest allowed himself entry to my home. He smiled his lethal smile and held up my spare key. “Under the front door mat. Really?“

I yanked the key out of his fingers and scoffed. "Where else do you put a spare key, jackass?” I maneuvered past him and began to put the key back in its rightful home, but hesitated and stuck it back in his hands instead.

"Ah, there ya go. You give it to a person that you trust. Not hide it in a place so obvious anybody could break into your house.“ He slid the ring on his key chain and I caught myself lost in my head again.

"Wait, what the fuck am I doing? Why am I so out of whack tonight?” I thought to myself as I realized I had just given Jongin unlimited access to my life. It was too late to regress and take the key back now, though, so I grabbed one of the bottles of liquor from him and made my way back to the kitchen.

I poured us both tall glasses of strong drinks and hopped up to sit on the kitchen counter as Jongin took a sip.

He sucked air through his teeth and, after his face has un-puckered, said, “heavy hand tonight."

I laughed and said, "I’ve gotta be drunk to endure your company. Suck it up, princess."

He chuckled and raised his glass in the air as though he was cheers-ing me from across the kitchen. He took another large swig.

We sat and talked for a little bit. As he was telling me about the happenings at his new job, I couldn’t help but allow my mind, and eyes, to wander.

I had never realized how long and toned his legs were. The torn skinny jeans that he was wearing hugged his thighs perfectly. Every now and then, as he made a grand gesture speaking with his hands, his shirt would slightly come up, revealing his abs and V-line. I caught myself licking my lips as my brain played with the thought of licking down that v-line.

"Hello?! Are you even listening to me?” I snapped back to the moment as I saw him waving his hands in front of my eyes.

"Aish, sorry,“ I blushed when I realized that I was thinking dirty thoughts about Jongin, "uh, zoned out for a moment. Must’ve made this drink too strong."

He rolled his eyes and smirked at me. He gently placed his glass down at the opposite end of the counter and sauntered slowly toward me. "What’s got you so distracted tonight?"

He placed himself directly between my legs and, rather than recoil from his advances like my mind was screaming at me to, I shuddered and slightly leaned into his touch. His large hands traced a light pattern up my arms, raising goosebumps.

He flashed me his grin again and leaned forward, placing his lips directly against my ear as he whispered, "if you only knew the bad things I liked.”

Why Anne with an E is great

It takes a story we’re given at face value and fleshes it out, delves deeper into the reality of who Anne is as a result of being an orphan. There are other straight from page to screen adaptations of Anne of Green Gables that don’t reach behind the sentences written, that don’t explore why Anne might be how she is, or appreciate how together she is despite all she’s been through. Or how broken she is and in need of the home the Cuthberts give her. Don’t get me wrong, the 80’s version owns me. I just really loved the way this gave us a pulled back curtain into her psyche.

For example: Anne’s first night at Green Gables she doesn’t fold her clothes properly before bed. She explains to Marilla that she is used to rushing to go to sleep at night. It’s a similar line in the book. But in the show it’s backed up with our knowledge that she’s rushing to get to bed because she’s usually tired from taking care of a house full of children all day while being beaten down verbally, mentally, and physically.

Directly after being admonished for doing what Marilla sees as a childish act, haphazard treatment of her clothes, we’re reminded that she has never had a childhood. Has had to tend to others’ children all her life. This on the eve of being sent away to continue doing so. Thus making crying herself to sleep that night even more poignant.

This is just a long winded point in my continual affection for this show. Reason number 86546, if you will.

anonymous asked:

What are your favorite kabby fanfics?

Hey, nonny! This took me forever to answer, and I’m really sorry about that. I have a lot of favorite fics, so I’ll limit this list to my top ten favorites. This only features fics on AO3, but I know there are plenty of amazing ones to be found on Tumblr that I can’t locate right now (or can’t locate on AO3). If you want, you can check out my fic rec tag to find some that are Tumblr-bound!

In no particular order, here are the ones to which I return over and over again:

1. The Life You Make in the Ruins by @kane-and-griffin - this is the fic that got me started writing fanfiction. Honestly, this was a life-changing experience for me, and I have reread it at LEAST five or six times. It’s beautiful. Modern AU where Jake and Callie die in a car crash and Marcus and Abby are left to raise their kids; Bellamy, Clarke and Octavia.

2. A Flower in Autumn by @beautiful-rebellious-sunflower - OH MY GOD, I can’t even describe the amount of feelings I have regarding this fic. I’mma start crying, no joke. Period/regency era AU isn’t usually my thing, but this is beautifully written, perfectly in-character (Alice’s Abby Griffin could literally have walked off the show and into this fic, and as Abby trash, this delights me) and the romance is dazzling.

3. Through the Wire by noblydonedonnadoble - another of my earlier reads in the Kabby fandom that stuck with me for over a year. The writing strikes a delicate balance between comedy and drama, and it rises above the simple “fake dating AU” trope. Of course, I’m trash for fake dating AU, so…I was destined to love this. Modern/fake dating AU where Abby needs a date for her brother’s wedding, and Marcus Kane is the solution to that problem.

4. Everyone Can See It by @beautiful-rebellious-sunflower - look, I’m just trash for everything Alice writes. But this I especially love because it shows other people’s perspectives on Marcus and Abby’s relationship, something I haven’t often seen in this fandom. Not to mention that, as before, every character is perfectly translated from screen to page. While it’s not completed, the status doesn’t affect the rest of the piece because they’re a series of interconnected one-shots. It’s amazing.

5. I Need You So Much Closer by @skaihefamarcus - if you want good smut, this is some Grade A smut. I recommend everything of Kate’s, even though there are a few things of hers that I think live only on Tumblr? If you search her blog, you can probably find them. Written for a Valentine’s exchange, this fic takes place after Marcus returns from Polis in S4. AU in which Marcus and Abby are actually reunited instead of remaining separated forever, and Abby is…well, really happy to see him. *wink*

6. Haiplana by @kane-and-griffin - the fic that makes everyone’s rec lists, and for good reason. I mean, it has everything. Abby wearing a gorgeous grounder dress? Check. Actual interaction between Marcus and Lexa, of which we were so horribly deprived on the show? Check. Epic, sizzling sexual tension? CHECK. Canon-compliant S3 oneshot where Abby and Marcus attend a grounder feast in Polis.

7. Wonderwall by @fandammit - I LOVE. THIS FIC. Well really I love anything Lelanie writes, but this fic especially. It does a spectacular job of not only building an entire modern AU backstory between Marcus and Abby, but in explaining why they hated each other, slowly brings them back together. Not to mention that Lelanie is literally #writergoals and I constantly have to restrain myself from yelling at her to explain her witchcraft secrets for writing so beautifully. :P Modern AU where Marcus and Abby meet at their high school reunion.

8. Femme Aux Phlox by @brittanias - another amazingly well-written fic that made me cry. An amazing storyline (better than what we got on the show, tbh) and utterly, amazingly beautiful. Canon-compliant S3 fic that addresses Abby losing the Chancellorship and what that does to their relationship. Hint: Abby needs somewhere to live, and Marcus Kane’s door is open.

9. There Will Be Time by @shefollowedfires - another beautiful canon-compliant fic. Emily’s characterization is on-point, and the language she uses is just beautiful. I swear, I’m a little jealous of the precision of her words and the loveliness of her writing. (Also, she’s one of the coolest people on the planet and makes lovely gifsets. Besides the point). Canon-compliant, Marcus and Abby find a cute little cottage in the woods and have some much-needed alone time.

10. We Had It Good There For Awhile by @kane-and-griffin - I have never seen The West Wing, but that didn’t stop me from reading this at 4 a.m. the night it was posted and then crying my eyes out over it. You really don’t have to know the show to read and love it - I mean, it probably helps if you know the background - but it’s by no means necessary to appreciate the amazingness of this storyline. West Wing/Political AU where Abby is the White House Press Secretary and Marcus is the White House Communications Director.

…so, there you go! Emily’s long, rambly list of favorite fics. Hope I helped you out, nonny! Like I said, these are only the ones I’ve bookmarked/read a thousand times on AO3, and I know there are many awesome ones here that are in my tag or I forgot to mention. All the writers in this fandom are extremely talented, and I’m thankful and honored to be part of it.
Everything you need to know about 'Outlander' Season 3
Settle in with a scotch and distract yourself from the droughtlander.
By Laura Prudom

Starz recently announced that the hotly-anticipated Season 3 premiere of Outlander will hit our screens in September — an agonizingly long wait, considering that we got our last glimpse of Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan) way back in July 2016.

But anything worth having is worth waiting for, and that’s especially true of Outlander Season 3, which will explore that very theme, as Claire and Jamie must defy the odds and find a way to reunite after decades apart.

Here’s everything we know about Outlander Season 3 so far:

Fans of Diana Gabaldon’s beloved series of novels know that Season 3 is based on the third book in her Outlander saga, Voyager — a rip-roaring adventure that spans multiple years and countries.

Here’s how Starz describes the new season: The story picks up right after Claire travels through the stones to return to her life in 1948. Now pregnant with Jamie’s child, she struggles with the fallout of her sudden reappearance and its effect on her marriage to her first husband, Frank (Tobias Menzies).

Meanwhile, in the 18th century, Jamie suffers from the aftermath of his doomed last stand at the historic battle of Culloden, as well as the loss of Claire. As the years pass, Jamie and Claire attempt to make a life apart from one another, each haunted by the memory of their lost love. The budding possibility that Claire can return to Jamie in the past breathes new hope into Claire’s heart… as well as new doubt.

Separated by continents and centuries, Claire and Jamie must find their way back to each other. As always, adversity, mystery, and adventure await them on the path to reunion. And the question remains: When they find each other, will they be the same people who parted at the standing stones, all those years ago?

That means we’ll jump back to the Battle of Culloden and its aftermath to see what became of Jamie (since Claire spent decades assuming that he had died in that infamous clash), his men, and Black Jack Randall (Menzies). We’ll also spend some time with Claire, Frank and Bree (Sophie Skelton) throughout Bree’s childhood.

The show has a lot of ground to cover before we catch up to Claire and her headstrong daughter in 1968, where the Season 2 finale ended with Claire contemplating the possibility of traveling back through time to find Jamie after 20 years apart.

In addition to Balfe, Heughan, Menzies and Skelton, we’ll see a number of other familiar faces returning for the new season, including Richard Rankin as Roger Wakefield, Laura Donnelly as Jenny Fraser Murray, Steven Cree as Ian Murray and Romann Berrux as Fergus, to name a few (but definitely not all).

The show has also been busy casting some new additions for the upcoming year, including an older version of Fergus, played by Cesar Domboy.

He’s not the only character getting a makeover: Australian actor David Berry has been cast in the pivotal role of Lord John Grey, a character we encountered in Season 2 as a naive (but honorable) young British solider who attempted to defend Claire’s honor from the Scottish barbarians John assumed were holding her captive before the Battle of Prestonpans.

When we encounter him again, Lord John will be all grown up, and he’ll be sticking around for a while. Here’s how Starz describes him: “He’s a steadfast and honorable British subject, torn between a finely-honed sense of familial duty and a strong moral compass of right and wrong. He is boyishly handsome with an upper class rearing — the consummate gentleman. However, a scandal from his past has relegated Lord John to an undesirable position as governor of a desolate prison in Northern Scotland.”

Following his introduction in Voyager, Lord John has earned his own loyal fanbase over the years, and Gabaldon has written a series of novels and novellas centered around the dreamy and upstanding soldier. So if Starz and Sony are ever in the market for an Outlander spinoff at some point, Berry might have plenty of career security ahead.

Among the other newcomers for Season 3 are John Bell as Young Ian Murray, Jamie’s adventurous nephew; Wil Johnson as Joe Abernathy, Claire’s closest friend and coworker, whom she meets during medical school; Gary Young as Mr. Willoughby, a Chinese man with a deep knowledge of Eastern medicine who befriends Jamie; Lauren Lyle as Marsali, the 18-year-old, high-spirited daughter of Laoghaire (Nell Hudson); Hannah James and Tanya Reynolds as Geneva and Isobel Dunsany, two privileged young noblewomen who cross paths with Jamie; and Charlie Hiett as Thomas Leonard, the inexperienced, by-the-book de facto captain of the British Naval ship Artemis.

Hiett is playing the captain of a ship, so it’s not a spoiler to note that some of Season 3 will take place on the high seas, which probably won’t sit well with Jamie, since we all know how he feels about boats…

Showrunner Ronald D. Moore was already expressing his enthusiasm for the show’s nautical turn back when he was promoting Season 2: “I can’t wait to get out to sea … The technology now, between real ships like what they have in Black Sails and CG, it’s now developed to a place where you can believe it,” he told CinemaBlend. “Now you can really realize on a television budget what Pirates of the Caribbean was doing 8-10 years ago. Now, we can actually do better CG than that on the television front.”

Undoubtedly the biggest change for Outlander Season 3 is that in its final five episodes, the series will shift its production from Scotland, which has been the show’s home for its first two seasons, to Cape Town, South Africa. There, it will utilize the sets and ships previously used on Starz’s Black Sails to adapt Gabaldon’s elaborate sea voyage scenes, with the balmy new location standing in for the Caribbean.

Season 3 of Outlander will be 13 episodes in length, and will air on Starz in September, with a specific airdate yet to be announced.

Four new writers have also been drafted to join Moore, Matt Roberts, Toni Graphia and Anne Kenney for Season 3: Joy Blake, Karen Campbell, Shannon Goss and Luke Schelhaas.

Because the season will be jumping around in time to cover various periods in Claire and Jamie’s years apart, we’ll see the duo transform from their twenties to their forties over the course of the season — subtle but noticeable shifts which will no doubt showcase the incredible work of the hair, makeup and costume departments, as well as the consistently compelling performances of Balfe and Heughan (who are long overdue for some awards recognition).

Production on the season began in September 2016 and will conclude in June 2017, Starz confirms, and the show will make a triumphant appearance at San Diego Comic-Con this July to give fans a preview of what they can expect when Outlander returns to our screens this fall. So close and yet so far!

The “droughtlander” may seem endless now, but the gargantuan effort involved in shifting an entire production to a new continent can’t be overstated, especially when Voyager is such an ambitious and sprawling novel, which takes its characters through an evolution that few shows would dare to tackle. You can’t rush perfection, after all.

The good news is, Outlander has already been renewed for Season 4 in addition to Season 3, meaning that we’re guaranteed another dose of Starz and Sony’s time-traveling epic in the next year or two. Season 4, based on Drums of Autumn, will bring the show to the halfway point of Gabaldon’s currently published Outlander novels, but the prolific author is already at work on a ninth installment and sees no end in sight yet.

The takeaway? We can look forward to plenty more adventures from Claire and Jamie on the page and the screen for years to come — and doesn’t that make the dry spell a little more tolerable?

Summary: Modern College AU Infamous bad boy and lone wolf Kylo Ren starts his next quarter of college, already planning on how he’ll sneak out of each one and get one his friends to cover for him. A new development in his schedule however puts a halt to that plan, and to how he plans his year to go.

A/N: I friggin love Modern Kylo haha, I’m kinda so-so on whether I like how it turned out or not but I hope you all enjoy! Feedback is welcomed as always.

Rolling his eyes Kylo plopped himself into the plastic chair in the back of the room, throwing his backpack to the side. In his typical fashion, he went all the way to the back of the lecture hall picking the seat that was tucked into the furthest corner. There he could disappear behind the sea of students, after deciding whether he wanted to stay or escape out of the backdoor of the hallway, all depending on just how worthy he deemed the class.

Running a hand through his raven locks he released a deep breath as he slouched down into his seat, messing with the hood of his black sweatshirt. With it being the first day of the quarter, he had to act as though he enjoyed being on time, enjoyed listening to his classmates list off things about themselves he couldn’t give less of a shit about. To him, it was by far the worst day of each quarter. Reaching down to his black leather backpack he pulled out his laptop, also a sleak black with a single sticker of a red First Order emblem in the middle. Strumming his fingers against the tabletop he waited for it to start up.

“Well, well I had no idea I had class with Gene Simmons.”

Rolling his eyes Kylo turned to his side to see the more than familiar head of flaming red hair taking the seat next to him, his blue eyes squinting from his laughing. As he slouched into the seat next to Kylo, his plaid shirt drifting open slightly with the gust of air.

“To what do I owe the privilege of sitting next to you Carrot Top?”

Hux huffed, slinging his bag to the floor much like Kylo had when he first entered.

“Elective. How about you?”

Kylo nodded, “Same.”

“Engineering let you take a breather?”

Kylo huffed out a laugh as he turned to his laptop screen.

“For once yeah. Where’s Phasma?”

Hux shook his head as he released a deep sigh causing Kylo to chuckle.

“She’s convinced this class is beneath her. As she put it, science majors don’t indulge things as friviolous as mythology.”

Rolling his eyes Kylo shook his head as he logged into his computer. Of course Phasma found their elective class a waste of time. She was far too practical and far too serious about her studies in science to consider even entertaining mythology of the past. Though Hux shared a similar mentality, he was desperate for credits and could find it in him to pretend as though he didn’t find the myths ridiculous.

“Oh that sounds like her alright. How’s living together going?”
