I can’t remember if I shared this here or not but last year I got to go see one of my favorite bands with one of my very best friends. We sang and danced and hung out with the band and it’s still one of the best nights of my life. I’m going to Denver again this year and I’ve already got a feeling that it’s going to be another trip of a lifetime. It’s the people in your life that make it amazing folks. ❤️
i love when straight people are like “they’re just friends, clearly you don’t understand friendship” and then say things like this, wow (joining you with the sarcasm i guess)
Yep, I know. I’ve had that one thrown at me a few times when it comes to a few previous ships of mine and yet I always get this reaction from acquaintances (and extended family members) where they keeping thinking that 2 straight people of the opposite gender can be good friends and nothing more. It’s like, no, I like meeting up with my (male) friends and playing cooperative board/video games with them for a day, and it’s nothing but fun, and while I’m single, I’m also not interested in dating any of them. I’ve known pretty much everyone in my closest circle of friends for over 10 years, so I see them all as the brothers I never had (with the exception of my ex, haha) seeing as I’m an only child.
Time for me to say my dorky goodbye, and hope no one laughs at me!
I’m 25 now, but I still remember being a kid and watching Naruto whenever I could, and excitedly borrowing and trading the manga with my friend’s brother. When I was a teenager I made Naruto AMVs and became a big SasuSaku fan girl. I dreamed of meeting a man like Kakashi, and I related so much to Hinata’s struggles with being shy and wanting to change herself for the better. Naruto’s relationship with Iruka always made my heart so happy, and I was so jealous that Naruto had such a warm and caring father figure to look up to and spend time with.
Whenever I was lonely, I always had a Naruto episode to watch or a new chapter to read. It was my favorite manga, and I truly cherished it. Goodbye old friend. Thanks for cheering up this lonely little girl’s life throughout the years. You really did help me get through the hard times ❤❤❤❤
Dallas Winston Prompt Request - "Smoking is bad for you, ya know."
request: could you do 18 with dally?? xx
18. “Smoking is bad for you, ya know.”
You were hanging around at Buck’s. He was a friend of your brother and he didn’t mind you hanging around. Dallas Winston definitely didn’t mind you hanging around.
You weren’t a smoker, but you’d have a few drinks. So, you mainly found yourself with a drink in your hand and talking to Buck or anyone else who was around.
You moved your hand around in front of your face trying to get the smoke from other people around you out if your face. You knew it was bad for you and you weren’t trying to mess up your body. You eventually just moved away from that area as it seemed to be smoke central.
After a while of walking around downstairs you got bored and went upstairs to find Buck’s dog. You found him sitting outside of Dallas’ room. You figured he was probably downstairs somewhere so you sat down next to the dog and started petting him.
Soon after Dallas came out of his room with an unlit cigarette hanging out of his mouth.
“What’re you doing?” he asked looking down at you.
“What does it look like I’m doing? I’m petting the dog.” you answered looking back up at him.
He shook his head and stepped out of his room, sitting down next to you. He pulls a match and struggles to light it but eventually gets it. He lights the cigarette and takes a drag before speaking.
“Why aren’t you downstairs with Buck?”
You shrug, “I got bored.”
“So you came up here and started petting the damn dog?”
“Yeah. That’s exactly what I did.”
Dallas shrugs, “I guess he’s an alright dog.”
Dallas calls the dog over and it sits down in between the two of you. He lazily pets it as he looks at you.
“So, what’s been going on downstairs, man?”
He nods and you look at him.
“Smoking is bad for you, ya know.”
“I know.” he answers taking another drag.
“Then why do you smoke?”
“Trying to speed this shit up.” he jokes.
You laugh, “So you’re trying to die faster by smoking?”
“That’s exactly right.” he say, cracking a small smile at you.
“You know Dal, you aren’t as bad as everyone thinks you are. If they’d just get to know you. Like I do and like the Curtis brothers, Two-Bit, Johnny, and Steve do.”
Dallas looks at you with a raised eyebrow.
“You aren’t a bad guy. You’re just a major dumbass.” you smile slightly.
Dallas nods and chuckles slightly, “Gosh, thanks (y/n).”
ok so there was this post talking about how boys love flowers too and no one ever gets them any or like cares,,
SO we were doing awkward icebreakers in class and i decided to ask the guy next to me what his favorite flower was (half expecting him to say wut idk??) and he looked at me with a huge smile and said sunflowers and i think we should all just raise awareness that boys like flowers too
Shaedon Wedel is an 18-year-old student in Newton, Kansas.
Shaedon has been friends with his date, Carlie, for many years because he is best friends with her brother, Carlie’s mom, Angie Wittman, told BuzzFeed News.
Carlie, who has Down syndrome, was dying to go to the dance because her brother, Carson, and his girlfriend were going, her mom said.
However, she said she told her daughter she could only go if she was asked, since she is a freshman.
“She was sad about it because Carson was going and she wasn’t,” she said.
Little did Carlie know, Shaedon had been talking for a while about taking Carlie to prom with Carson and his date. After getting permission from her parents, he came up with a promposal themed around her favorite snack: Doritos.
