Don’t forget to join us this weekend for your last chance to see Frida Kahlo, Her Photos. Beginning at 3:00pm, on Sunday, June 8, Dr. Leonard Folgarait, Professor of History of Art at Vanderbilt University will discuss Frida, her art and her significance in Mexican history and culture. Also, from 5:00-8:00pm A Bite Food Truck will be here selling food and there will be a cash bar and DJ.

This board is dedicated to all things Frida in honor of “Frida Kahlo, Her Photos” a MOLAA exhibition on view from March 15 – June 8. The exhibition presents a selection of 257 photographs divided into six themes: Her parents; The Casa Azul; Her Crippled Body; Frida’s Loves; Photography and Diego’s Gaze. *A lot of the photos and videos on this board are not part of the exhibition.
