OOTD: Saturday-bumming-around-the-East-Village-style

For a day of brunching, wandering, and cafes, I wore an ultra-comfortable mini dress and flats.  The seersucker purse made it an easy pattern-mixing-for-beginners look :)

Tunic dress: FCUK

Bronze chandelier necklace: Charlotte Russe

Seersucker crossbody: Aldo

Studded flats: Mossimo (Target)

I was at my sister’s job today & while browsing I saw FCUK (French Connection UK) at Sears. I was like, “Whaaaaat?!” Who would’ve thought that FCUK would do a collection for Sears? I sure didn’t. Anyways, they have some really cute pieces. They have everything from denim rompers(ABOVE; Sorry for the poor quality. I took it with my DSi. hehe. >_<) to jumpsuits, floral dresses, military-inspired jackets and leggings, just to name a few. Definitely coming back to try some pieces on next time I go shopping!

Plato’s Closet Haul

  • French Connection UK Jacket - $16 - I’m in LOVE with this jacket! The detailing on it is beautiful and I’m a huge fan of the quilting on it. I also love the way the snap comes across the body, giving it a cape-like affect.
  • Necklace - $5 - I have no idea what brand this necklace is or what store it’s from but I really like it! It’s super long and I love the black sections which makes it a bit more interesting than just a plain chain. It also looks great with my new jacket!
