Mariah Carey teases new music as she teams up with Justin Bieber and French Montana in the studio
She has one of the most instantly recognisable voices in the music industry. Highly regarded as one of the best to ever do it, artists such as Whitney Houston, Jay Z, Missy Elliott, Busta Rhymes and Miguel have all had the privilege of working with Mariah Carey. Taking to Instagram on Friday morning, the 45-year-old singer showed off her latest collaboration partners as she shared a picture alongside Justin Bieber and French Montana.
Happy to be back in the studio, Carey beamed as she held onto Montana’s arm and stood beside music producer Noel Fisher, better known as Detail, and Bieber.
Keeping tight-lipped on the upcoming project, the mother-of-two simply captioned the image: ’#comingsoon’. The Grammy award winning star also uploaded another shot with the Bad Boy rapper as she sat in a chair and he rested on the soundboard.
With a career that spans across 25 years, Mariah has mastered the art of music collaborations. No stranger to working alongside hip hop heavyweights, Carey has offered her vocals on hits by rappers including Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj, Nas, Snoop Dogg and Bone Thugs-n-Harmony. It’s also not the first time the New York born singer has teamed up with Bieber as the pair reworked her classic festive single All I Want For Christmas Is You in 2011 for his album, Under the Mistletoe.
Meanwhile, on Monday it was announced by the Hollywood Chamber Of Commerce that Carey will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame on August 5. Looking forward to accepting the honour, Mariah tweeted: ‘Super excited & feeling so humbled about my star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Thank you so much to the fans for making this happen for me.’ Guest speakers at the unveiling will include Lee Daniels, Brett Ratner, and Epic Records CEO L.A. Reid but it is yet to be confirmed whether her beau James Packer will be in attendance.
