I Cannot Say The Rain

Never needlessly bothering anyone or anything
no I cannot say the rain ever troubles me
it simply is, does, exists
falling as it will, forever free
feeding our mother earth, sating her thirst
hiding the tears we wish no one to see
softening the hardness of this oft cold world
never worrying what, or where it should be
Dear God might I live in this manner today
for I cannot say the rain ever troubles me
