Couture for a Cause | Juicy Couture & VOGUE Come Out for Free Arts NYC

We love shopping and sipping in the name of doing good. Last night Jamie Tisch and Lucy Sykes Rellie hosted an early evening of holiday cocktails, mocktails and cookies at Juicy Couture on Madison to benefit Free Arts NYC. The nonprofit provides creative arts programs to low income, abused, homeless and neglected children of New York City. With Brendan Fallis on the decks, fashionable faces like Amanda Ross, Anne Vincent, Emma Snowdon-Jones, Claude Davis, Liz Hopfan and Denny Lee came out to support the cause.

Creative freedom and artistic opportunity are things that all of us at Tattly are grateful for. We are thrilled to partner with Free Arts NYC, a not-for-profit program that provides arts-based mentoring for K through 12 students. These awesome Custom Tattly by Kenny Scharf will be given out to attendees at Kidsfest, an annual celebration taking place on October 18th at Pioneer Works in Brooklyn. See you there!

From 1992 – 2008, the DKNY mural dominated Soho’s intersection of Houston and Broadway becoming an iconic presence in the city’s urban landscape. This summer, DKNY is reviving this mural not only in New York City but in 9 cities around the world: London, Paris, Milan, Dubai, Kuwait, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Seoul. DKNY has selected 10 artists to reinterpret the idea of a mural as sculptures, paintings or projections starting with How & Nosm and Amy Gartrell who created the New York editions of this project.

I’m running the NYC Marathon November 6, 2011.

That’s less 9 days away!

But I need to raise funds for the organization I’m running for! I want to raise all $5K, but now I’ll be happy if I can covered the minimum promised ($3K). I need your help!

Watch the video, or skip the video and donate! If you want to enter the contest for a chance to win a $100 Visa Gift Card or one of 10+ $10 Amazon Cards, re-blog this post AS IS (so people can re-blog and understand what’s going on. Feel free to add your commentary to the bottom).

Wither you got tumblr or not, I’m still trying to raise money for a cause. So, if you don’t have tumblr, but want to promote (and get a chance to win), follow the directions at

I figured if this post gets reblogged at least about 2,000 times, I’ll reach some people who are willing to donate and cover the amount I promised to the organization.

Now, if you can’t donate using your credit card and want to use Paypal, please use the link. But USE THIS AS A LAST DITCH EFFORT, NOT THE FIRST!

Prizes will be given a week after the marathon.

Please help me out and I promise you this won’t be the last time I’ll be giving myself to the universe.
