Psychosis: Part 1 (Antisepticeye)
“Jack…JACK! Wake up dammit!”
Jack woke up in a panic. He fell from his bed and hit the floor with a loud THUD! “Ow! Jesus…What the hell is going on!?” He looked across the room to see a video call open on his monitor. Mark had been screaming his name. “What do you want? Why did you wake me?” Jack was mildly perturbed at Mark for waking him from his nap.
“Jack, there is something wrong with you.” Mark sounded like he was terrified of something.
“What the hell are you going on about? There’s nothing wrong with me. I’m fine.” He slowly stood up off the ground and walked over to his desk.
“Have you even watched your recent video? Robin messaged me saying how you had gone off the deep end. He was scared for his life!”
Jack shook his head in disbelief. He hadn’t had a chance to watch the video yet. He’d been feeling miserably sick to his stomach after recording earlier so he sent what he had to Robin and then passed out. “Mark, you better not be pulling some kind of trick on me.”
“Would you just watch the damn video.” Mark was starting to get annoyed with him.
Jack raised his hands in surrender. “Alright alright. Give me a sec to bring it up.” He plopped down in his chair and brought up his main channel. The first video title he saw made him feel a bit uneasy. It read as ‘S̺͍͉͔͉̞̪Ḁ̸̰̮͝Y̶̪ ̳͇̭͍̥̭͉ͅG̕O̤̫͖͎̗͜͞ͅÒ̴̬̠̺̪̥͉̳͉̥͝D̨̺̦̯͙͙͔̯͚͠B̸̬̻̝͉͍̻̀͝YE̲̩͟͝ͅ ‘ .
What was with that freaky font? Why did the thumbnail have blood dripping down the pumpkin he had carved earlier? Jack forced himself to stop asking questions and just click the video. Everything looked normal enough…wait…what was that? He skipped back a couple seconds and then paused. In the video he had just gotten up to go check the hallway when something flickered into existence over his chair. “What is that?!”
“Keep watching. It gets worse.” Mark had fallen silent when Jack started to watch the video.
Jack continued to let the video play. There were more instances of screen flickering and then a distinct face appeared at the top right corner. It was his face but he looked…sadistic? Insane? “I didn’t record any overlay scenes for this. How did Robin do that?”
“Jack…Listen to me. It wasn’t Robin. Those screen glitches appeared after he uploaded the video. Just, keep watching.”
Jack was more hesitant now. He felt afraid of whatever it was that had invaded the video. He forced himself to keep watching.
As the video came to the part where he had finished carving the pumpkin there was a noticeable change in his behavior. Jack watched as he slowly picked up the small knife off the table, and with a growing sense of horror, he proceeded to slit his own throat. Jack subconsciously lifted a hand to his throat in real life and checked for any sign of a cut. He thought for a moment he felt something tacky in texture but when he checked again there was nothing there. In the video he fell forward onto the pumpkin and then a few seconds later another screen glitch happened followed by insane laughing. The next thing that happened caused Jack to fall off his chair. The video froze after the laughter and a loud FZZZZZAP! sound echoed through the room as his monitors went black.
A voice similar to his own but with a touch of malice suddenly filled his head. ‘HAHAHAHA! Hello Jackaboy. I’ve come to play again.’
Jack was suddenly pulled backwards against the floor by an unseen force. “What the fuck is going on!?” He tried to sit up but was immediately shoved back down.
‘Heh, don’t try to fight back. You’re not strong enough to resist me!’ The voice cackled evilly to itself.
Jack’s vision went dark for a moment, his eyes also changed to a deep black and then back to their normal blue. As this happened he cried out in pain. It felt like something was ripping him apart from the inside. “Why…why are you doing this to me!? What are you?”
‘What am I? Why, I’m what your fans really want.’ With one last cackle from the maniacal voice Jack passed out.
His body laid limp on the floor for a few moments and then it slowly sat up. His eyes quickly snapped opened but instead of being a bright blue they had changed to a glowing green. Jack had lost this round to the entity that now controlled his body.
The sadistic cackle came again but it was no longer in his mind, now it came from his own lips. “Don’t worry Jack. You’ll have your body back soon; I just can’t promise what condition it will be in after I’m done.” His glowing green eyes flashed with excitement. “Now, it’s time for Anti to go have some fun!”
