freakin' powerful

tyler.matthew.young : As far as I know, this is the first picture ever taken of @thisisjamespaxton and myself. Before we officially had the #Eyewitness roles, we had to show @catherinehardwicke , the network and the studio that we had chemistry and looked half decent together. Crazy how different Philip and Lukas ended up looking on the show from when this pic was snapped just a month before shooting. The evolution of#Philkas before your eyes.

KEEP IT IN YOUR PANTS, ARBA. (꒪  ꒪|||);

She looks like she’s posing for the cover of her own romance novels. XDDD

Meanwhile in Kouen and Sinbad’s head:

great googly moogly

Raphael: (to Camille) you’re so irresponsible. you break the accords and kill mundanes. you can’t be trusted to be our leader.

Raphael: *literally makes a FUCKIN fledgling, a baby vamp, a little smol child who hasn’t even mastered his vamp powers, his FREAKIN adviser because he has a little crush*

birth by sleep more like how many times can one small cast of characters totally screw everything up in 40 hours

So I struggled with drawing anime a few days ago. All for some Christmas art for my beautiful sister and her bf, who would make some pretty neat Pokemon trainers (if you ask me).

Peridot’s Ombrophobia

Looking ahead at “When it Rains,” it might actually play into some inferences I’ve made about Homeworld. It starts with Lapis Lazuli.

First off, Lapis is ungodly powerful. She steals the ocean, forms it into a tower, and (while maintaining that tower) creates and controls a set of doppelgangers that overpower the Crystal Gems. She does all of that with a cracked gem. This is her with diminished strength. This begs the question, though; HOW WAS SHE TAKEN PRISONER BY HOMEWORLD WHEN SHE SO FREAKIN’ POWERFUL?

You might say that Homeworld forces are just that much more impressive, but there’s another possible answer. There isn’t nearly as much water on the gem homeworld as Earth. That’s why she’s so resigned to defeat, in her most familiar setting she is pretty weak.

So if there is significantly less water on Homeworld, it wouldn’t be a stretch to say that large chunks of the planet may never see rain. Maybe Peridot hails from one of those regions, and that’s why she’s afraid of thunderstorms.

“OHMYSTARS WATER IS COMING FROM THE SKY THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED IN THE HISTORY OF ANYTHING WHAT IS GOING ON WHY IS NO ONE PANICKING DON’T GO STEVEN YOU’RE THE ONLY ONE I CAN TALK TO!!”
