Franz Zadrazil - Moderne Fotografie by Gandalf
Franz Zadrazil (Vienna, November 27, 1942 - October 25, 2005) was an Austrian painter. The signs of post-war decline registered by Zadrazil are recorded in his pictures and contain hidden humorous aspects. Zadrazil does not deal with famous grand buildings, but with facades of buildings that are embedded in the everyday life of the population. These are often dirty, stale and not perfect, but precisely these are the qualities that interested Zadrazil in his painting and which distinguish his motifs from other urban views.
