frank turner i still believe

My new tattoo. I’m thrilled with how this looks. “I still believe” is a song by Frank Turner about how rock’n’roll saves people. The tattoo was done by Josh Ebert from Walker’s Point Tattoo in Milwaukee (but I had it done at the Baltimore Tattoo Arts Convention). He asked if there was a color scheme I wanted and I told him to go crazy. I’m so glad I did.

And I still believe in the saints
Yeah, in Jerry Lee
And Johnny and all the greats

I still believe in the sound
That has the power
To raise a temple and tear it down

And I still believe in the need
For guitars and drums and desperate poetry

I still believe that everyone
Can find a song for every time they’ve lost
And every time they’ve won

This is my new favorite song, for now. My dad and I listened to it the whole ride home from college, and jammed out. Frank Turner is the man, I can’t wait for his new album in June!

maybe it’s not my weekend, but it’s gonna be my year
an upbeat, positive, happy mix. for those times that you need that.

take back the city snow patrol // let’s dance to joy division the wombats // i don’t care fall out boy // i still believe frank turner // weightless all time low // i won’t back down foreign slippers // on top of the world imagine dragons // keep your head up ben howard // do it anyway ben folds five // marchin on onerepublic // young volcanoes fall out boy
