four the hard way

Hey, guys! I wanted to announce that I’m joining the PIxel Horror Jam that starts in July. It’ll be about four months long, running until the end of October, but because of ~reasons~ I’m not certain I’ll be able to commit to all that time. Details on that below.

But the game itself! It’s called Achroma, if the art up there didn’t give that away. It’s… a difficult thing to describe, but the idea is that you play a robot person living in a society governed by an autocratic AI. Also, um, the robots have technicolor blood - except for you. Yours is grey. Listen it’s a little bit of a weird game.

But, good news: you get to play as this cute robo person:

(I got real lazy with the hands and feet…)

Also here’s some more random concept art (I’ve been satisfying my urge to get started by messing around with random pics.)

I’ve got the game outlined and about 50% of the script done. My plan is that it’ll be fairly short, maybe an hour or two at most and visual novel-y in genre. I’m not trying for anything real ambitious here, just a small little thing.

So - what about DE, and what about the time thing? Well, my next semester of college includes a few very demanding classes. During that time, I doubt I’ll be able to focus much on else besides. So DE will have to go on hiatus until after next semester - I might work on it in the meanwhile, but I don’t want to make promises. As for this: I didn’t want to start DE and then drop it again, but I also didn’t want to do nothing. So I’ve decided to try and make this little oneshot game. If the due date comes and it’s not complete, I imagine I’ll just post what I have, maybe return to it when I have more time to devote.

Anyway, thanks for hanging around. I’m excited to see where this goes.

Honestly all of you guys who reblog and like my posts make my day! I think I’ve fallen inlove with creating Eric in a different mindset then just being a straight up asshole. I feel like he would be the kind of person to be a hardass to everyone and sometimes to the reader, but in private he would be the type to drop the asshole persona.

She was tired and moody, this morning mother nature had decided to pay her a visit and a damn initiate decided to challenge her once again. It seemed that the initiates this year were brave and cocky. For some unforeseen reason they thought she was an easier target. Yet, time and time again she had proved them wrong, but they still came back for more. She leaned against the wall tiredly, when she saw that the hallway was empty. She stood up straighter when she heard heavy footsteps, coming from behind her.

“Y/N, what the hell are you doing. We have a meeting in five and you have me walking around the whole fucking compound looking for you,” She heard Eric’s snide voice from behind her. “Hurry your ass up!”

She rolled her eyes, stifling a yawn wishing that she had decided to deny the leadership role like Four had done. “I didn’t ask you to.” She fell into step beside him, accidentally brushing his shoulder. She felt the urge to yawn again, but she didn’t want to hear Eric’s nagging voice.

“Y/N!” She stopped turning to look at the black haired male. “Where are you off- Eric..” She turned back to Eric only to see a pissed off look on his face. Being the asshole that he was Eric stood behind her, glaring down at her black haired friend. “I was just wondering if you can reschedule your tattoo appointment to tomorrow evening.”

“Shit, I totally forgot about my appointment. But yeah, tomorrow at seven?” She asked while he nodded. “Okay it’s a date, I really have to go.” She rushed out feeling Eric’s angry gaze on the back of her head. She didn’t notice her friend’s surprised face, because she turned back to Eric grasping his meaty arm pulling him towards the meeting room.

Y/N yawned again while Eric gazed at her. She was one of the few people that he tolerated, and he didn’t want to admit to himself that it bothered him when she said it’s a date. Sure, she was attractive, even more so since she always stood up and never took his shit seriously. But he had never realized how much he was attracted to her.

“How is the training with the initiates going,” Eric brought his attention back to Max while he eyed both her and himself.

“They are courageous, yet cocky. They seem to think that they are better than Four, even as we knock them down time and time again. It’s taking sometime to break them, but it’s not impossible and we are only a week behind schedule,” She spoke clenching her fists tightly.

“I have no doubt that you and Four will break them. How are the strategist coming into play,” Max wrote something in his tablet.

Eric watched her E/C eyes light up, while he listened to her absentmindedly. He watched the way her hands moved excitedly as she described her strategies. He wanted to reach forward and brush away the few strands of her H/C hair that fell from her loose bun.

“Eric?” He blinked a few times, before turning to look at Max. “What’s your input?”

He knew he fucked up, he hadn’t heard a word she said, because he was too busy paying attention to her and not what she was saying. “She’s good with strategy. I don’t anything wrong with it.”

Her eyes shot over to him in surprise, before nodding stiffly in thanks. “Alright. Everyone’s dismissed.”

Eric waited for everyone to clear out before he pulled her aside. “Tell me your strategy again. I wasn’t paying attention.”

She pulled her arm away from him. “So basically you were just spouting bullshit about me being good with strategy. Figures. You know what Eric, I’m not really into explaining it again so you can ask me again tomorrow. Goodnight.” She turned away from him, before flipping him off over her shoulder. He watched her go, noticing the sway of her hip. Eric clenched his fists when he felt the urge to run his hands over her ass.

“I swear Four, if they keep testing me I’m going to put them in the infirmary,” Eric listened in on Y/N and Four’s conversation. “Cara asked me to chill out this year with the initiates, you know how she is.”

“Actually I don’t because I’m not the one that used to put initiates in the infirmary,” Four gave her a small grin, before turning his attention back to the initiates. “Maybe that’s what this bunch needs, even when you keep kicking their asses they don’t seem like they’ll respect you, regardless if your a leader.”

Eric moved closer to the pair, brushing against Y/N. He smirked when he saw her shiver slightly. “What do you think?” She looked up at him, it was one of the things he learned to like about her. She always asked him, no matter if she was pissed off at him or he was pissed off at her.

“It would be interesting. Pick the one who always gives you shit,” He shrugged. “Initiates get your asses around the mat.” He gestured for her to take control.

She grinned up at him, before looking at each of the initiates. She stopped at a blond haired kid, who was smirking at her. “Blake.. Since you won the last three against your competitors you will choose who you want to fight next.” Blake grinned at her, before his eyes skimmed lazily over her form.

“You. I wanna fight you.” Eric’s eyes widened slightly at the balls on this kid. Y/N at first glance looked weak, but Eric and Four learned the hard way that she was anything but weak. She had the ability to see every weakness and use it against her opponent. What she lacked in strength she made up for it with her agility and stamina.

She smiled sweetly at the kid, “Alright.” Eric coughed out a laugh. The kid had fallen right into her plan. She took off her boots, going to stand in the middle observing her opponent. “Coulter! Mind telling the rules.”

“First one to get knocked out loses or we can go with first blood,” Eric leaned against the mat, eyeing her. “Up to you..”

“I love first blood, but I think I’ll go with the first option. Four you’re on standby” She smiled down at him, before her body relaxed. “At your call Coulter.”

He felt a surge of pride flow through him, “Fight!”

Eric watched as she lazily eyed the kid. Blake rushed at her, at which she turned slamming her foot into his face. Eric grinned seeing the blood gushing out of his nose. “C’mon, you wanted a fight. You got me all excited.” She taunted him, only to grin when she saw him charging at her. She ducked under him, propelling herself up onto his back jabbing her hand into his neck. “You give?”

“No,” Blake choked out, trying to get her off of his back. She rolled her eyes, using her body weight bringing them down, before she tossed him across the mat. “I want a fight!”

Blake got up wiping the blood from his face. Y/N smirked, “You want a fight. I’ll bring a war.” She charged at him, kicking his legs out from underneath him, before she grasped both of his arms. “You challenge me and my authority daily. I’ve been trying to mellow out but you fuckers keep pushing me towards the edge.” Blake whimpered below her, when she pulled his arms tighter. “So, the next one to disobey me and challenge me again will end up with two dislocated shoulders.” Y/N grasped Blake right arm dislocating his shoulder. She cut off Blake’s scream with a single punch to his face. Eric grinned at her when she turned glaring down at the rest of the initiates, “Do you weaklings understand that?”

Eric watched in amusement when they all nodded dumbly at her. “Great, you’re all dismissed.” They moved around her, eyeing her wearily. “Eric mind handing me my boots?” He grasped her boots scooting while she scooted towards the edge. She grinned at Four while he rested his hand on her shoulder. “You taking him to the infirmary?” The stiff nodded, hauling the kid up.

“You did good Y/N,” Eric set his hand on her thigh. “It’s hot watching you kick people’s asses.” He ran his hand down to her leg. “Do you want to get a drink with me?”

Y/N raised an eyebrow at him, “What are you playing at?”

Eric sighed leaning against the mat, he wasn’t good at this. Usually he would ask and the girls would agree without hesitation. “You’ve been on my mind and I decided to act on it. So is it a yes or no?”

She shrugged pulling on her boots. “Sure, but I have my tattoo appointment in fifteen unless you want to come with me then we can get a drink?”

“Sure.”

“Thanks Derek,” Eric watched her smile at the dark haired male. The guy eyed Eric back, before smiling down at Y/N. “I’ll talk to you later.” She glanced up at Eric, before turning to leave the small shop. “So, uhm-”

Eric put his arm around her shoulder leading her towards his compartment. “I figured we could have some privacy.” He opened the door for her while she stepped inside. “Sorry about the mess.”

“Mess right,” She joked looking around the clean room. “If this your idea of a mess, I’d hate to see when you would call something filthy.” She glanced at the few shirts that were tossed into the chair. She looked back at him, frowning slightly when she noticed how uptight he was. He moved away from the door, heading towards his small fridge, pulling out a few beers. He opened her’s before handing it to her.

Eric leaned against the counter, “I’m not used to the whole talking ordeal.” He downed the beer trying to ease the nerves that he felt.

She shrugged understanding. “You have any cards,” she asked moving to sit on the counter next to him. He nodded grabbing the pack, tossing them at her. “Alright, let’s make this interesting. I win, I get whatever I want from you and if you win then you can choose whatever you want from me. Deal?”

He grinned back, pulling up a stool. Regardless of whatever game they played he knew that she would most likely win, no matter if he used to be from Erudite. She was extremely good at strategies.

“I win,” Eric grinned at her setting his cards down. “So I get anything I want from you?”

She shuffled the cards again, “Those were the terms. Anything you want.”

He grasped the cards from her, moving to stand in between her legs. Eric put his hand on her cheek, pulling her closer so their lips almost met. “I want a massage.”

Y/N laughed, bumping her head against his. “Deal.”

He moved back while she jumped down from the counter gesturing for him to lead the way. He led her into his neat bedroom, before pulling off his shirt. “Focus on my shoulders,” Eric mumbled before laying down. He heard her laugh again, before he felt the bed dip and weight settle on his lower back.

She dug her fingers into his muscles and he had to bite his sheets to keep himself from groaning out in pleasure. Her hands were surprisingly soft with small callouses here and there, but he loved how cool they were against his skin. He turned holding her so that she was still straddling him. She tensed slightly before raising an eyebrow at him.

Y/N raised herself up slightly, reaching towards his shoulders again. He closed his eyes when her fingers massaged his tense muscles. A shiver ran through his body when she ran her hands over his pecs. He found his hands gripping her waist tightly before he flipped them so she was laying beneath him. “This is not a massage Eric,” She grinned up at him, while he grinned back.

Eric leaned down, capturing her plump lips into a searing kiss. She whimpered slightly as he bit her lip, causing her to arch into him, while he ran his hands up her legs. He pulled back smirking down at her, “Stay with me tonight.”

Y/N bit her lip, he leaned down to kiss her again. She hoped that she wouldn’t have a nightmare tonight, before she was distracted by Eric’s skillful lips.

Y/N woke up, trying to remember where the hell she was. She moved to sit up, but a beefy pale arm held her down. She froze slightly when she trailed her eyes up, seeing Eric’s face sleeping soundly beside her. She moved soundlessly trying her hardest not to wake him up, once she was out of his bed, she grabbed all of her clothes throwing them all on before dashing out of his compartment.

Y/N was late. She sprinted to her compartment showering quickly before throwing on her workout clothes. She wrapped her hair into a bun, before sprinting to the training rooms only to see Four already stretching, maybe she wasn’t that late. She jogged over to Four, sitting beside him beginning her own stretches.

“You’re late.” Four grimaced while he held a hand down to her. He stared at her neck, rolling his eyes grinning slightly. “Now I know why.”

Her fingers probed her neck slightly, remembering Eric had left a mark from last night. Deep down she was embarrassed, but she shrugged grinning cockly at Four. “So we can skip the morning run?”

“Nope, let’s go,” Four pushed her slightly before she huffed dropping the cocky grin.

She started jogging falling into step beside Four, with her legs protesting at the extra exercise. “Four I’m going to kill you,” She huffed pushing past her jelly filled legs. She stopped leaning against the column, “Give me a second.”

Four smirked while she flipped him off. “C’mon, we can skip today. It seems you’ve already gotten way more exercise than usual.”

Y/N was sharpening the knives when the door banged open and a pissed off Eric stormed it. She went back to sharpening the knives, before the angry man leaned on the table beside her, she could feel the anger vibrating off of him in waves.

“Spit it out, get it over with,” She murmured not satisfied with the sharpness of the tool. He grabbed the knife from her hands flinging it at the wood, glaring down at her. “Impressive shot, but a little to the left and-”

“You left. Why,” Eric growled out through clenched teeth, staring (more like glaring) down at her.

“I had to get my morning workout in. Then I had to prepare for the initiates. I didn’t have the luxury to sleep in,” Y/N shrugged, grabbing another knife to sharpen.

“You’re a leader… you can choose. You’re a coward Y/N, you left because you were scared.” Eric hissed moving away from her, clenching his fists.

She rolled her eyes. “Totally, I’m a coward for doing my job. I’m not scared, if I was then I wouldn’t have went to your compartment.” She grasped his arm, pulling him towards her. “If I was a coward, I would’ve covered up your marks you dumbass.”

Eric grasped her chin, looking at her neck. He brushed his fingers against the marks, grinning slightly. He grabbed the knife she held throwing it back to the wood. “You’re right, I just wanted to see your reaction.”

“Asshole. So, what are we? Fuck friends,” Y/N smirked pulling her face away from his hands.

“If that’s what you want,” Eric rested his hands on her hips, before he trailed his fingers down her legs, wrapping her legs around him so she was pressed against him.

“I wouldn’t mind,” Y/N shrugged wrapping her arms around his shoulders. “So is where we also see other peo-”

He growled slightly, squeezing her thighs and burying his face into her neck. “I don’t share.”

“Neither do I,” She laughed when he brushed his lips against her sweet spot.

*Four months later*

“Stay,” Eric wrapped his arms around her, he had been asking her for months now yet she always refused. “Y/N c’mon let’s just sleep.”

“Eric, c’mon let go.” She weakly fought against him.

“Why don’t you want to stay? Fuck Y/N,” Eric let her go, sitting up watching her pull her clothes on. She sighed sitting back on the bed, while he moved closer kissing her shoulder.  “What are you so nervous about? Are you embarrassed?” He moved back, while everything started to fall into place.

“Why the hell would I be embarrassed? Who gives a fuck what other people think?” She hissed laying back down on the bed.

“Then what the fuck is up with you.” Eric scowled at the ceiling.

She put her arm over her eyes, biting her lip. “I have nightmares Eric. I didn’t want you to see my weakness. That’s why I’ve been avoiding staying over.”

Eric moved so that he was laying on his side looking at her. He grasped her waist pulling her into him. He held her tightly, breathing in her scent. The possessive side of him, grinned at the fact that she smelled of him. “You don’t have to be ashamed of things that aren’t in your control.” She sighed softly, burrowing closer to him.

One thing he loved more than anything was moments like these, where it was just him and her. In his room he was able to be somewhat vulnerable around her, but they still kept their professionalism. Eric wouldn’t admit it to anyone else, but she was one of his fears. He often feared that she would find someone better, nicer and more open than he was. To others it may have been a pansy weakness but to him it was something he never wanted to come true. She had managed to worm her way into his heart and he wasn’t going to lose her. Eric kissed her hair, holding her tightly.

“What are we Eric,” He heard her mumble out while she intertwined her legs with his. “This feels like so much more than fuck friends.”

“I’m all yours if you’re all mine,” Eric smirked running his fingers along her exposed flesh. She looked up at him, grinning slightly before moving so that she was straddling him.

I think maybe I can draw again maybe so have this low quality and very small preview of a Tony I’ve been crying over for three days now.

CW Eyes True Four-Way Superhero Crossover Next Season

If you thought this season’s four-way crossover between Arrow, The Flash, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl was epic, just wait until you see what the producers have planned for next year.

During the Invasion crossover, the heroes of Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow, and Legends teamed up to battle the Dominators. However, some fans griped that it wasn’t quite a four-way crossover because the storytelling didn’t actually take place across all four shows. Save for a brief epilogue scene during Supergirl‘s winter finale, the action was mainly featured on The Flash, Arrow, and Legends, making it a four-way crossover on three shows.

However, the producers are already hard at work figuring out the logistics of rectifying that for next season. “Next year, we’re hoping to do a true four-way crossover,” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg says. “The great thing about our dear friends at the CW and Mark Pedowitz picking the shows up as early as they did has allowed us to start building the schedules for next season.”

Explaining that the shows continue filming other episodes while shooting the crossovers, Kreisberg says, “One of the big things we learned from two years ago, which made the crossovers this year slightly easier, was building in shut-down days, where shows just went dark. The single hardest factor in doing the crossovers is actors’ availability because the shows keep going on. You’re basically juggling four shows worth of schedules.”

“The thing that we didn’t really plan on — because we weren’t aware that we were going to switch Supergirl from CBS to CW and it was really going to be part of it — that was the one show that didn’t have built-in shut-down days, so all the other ones did,” Kreisberg continues. “Melissa [Benoist] ended up being heavily in Flash and then in Arrow, so Supergirl was the one we needed to shut down the most and it was the one that we didn’t have any opportunity to. Now that we’ve gotten the early pickup and we’ve started designing the seasons, we’re building in those dark days, and actually more dark days on Supergirl than the other shows, to make it a little easier.”

Thus, there’s a strong chance of seeing a real four-way crossover next season — though it’s not yet officially confirmed.

UPDATE: As for the upcoming Flash-Supergirl musical crossover, that will mainly take place on The Flash, with Kara, Winn (Jeremy Jordan), J’onn (David Harewood), and Mon-El (Chris Wood) appearing. “We would’ve had everybody, because I know this one can sing,” Kreisberg says, referencing Chyler Leigh, “but somebody actually had to be part of an episode of Supergirl, because we actually keep filming these things.”

Hence, while the others are away, Alex and Maggie (Floriana Lima) “have a bigger storyline in that episode to free other people up,” Kreisberg says, also teasing there will be a big hour for Winn, James (Mehcad Brooks), and Lyra (Tamzin Merchant) in episode 16, as well as episode 18. “Winn, James, and Lyra have a really funny story in 18 too, where the three of them try crime fighting as a trio, which doesn’t necessarily go well. She kind of becomes the Yoko of the team.”

Supergirl airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET, The Flash airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET, and Arrow airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.

I just got these from sensory University. Left one is called the reach, the other one I don’t know about. I love these! I destroy everything I put in my mouth, but not these. They’re for people who bite hard and chew way too much, there’s four textures on all of them and there’s even flavors! I got them in the not flavored kind because I’m not into flavors. The blue ones are always flavorless. As soon as I get my cavities filled I’ll be able to use them to their full extent. 10/10.

Predator: Hunters #4 (of 5)

Chris Warner (W), Francisco Ruiz Velasco (A/Variant cover), and Doug Wheatley (Cover)
On sale Aug 2 • FC, 32 pages • $3.99 • Miniseries
A warm tropical night, a lush island setting, and death on all sides! The team of human hunters is looking for a single Predator when they find out the hard way that there are four of the monsters lurking about. Yet, unbelievably, that’s not the worst of their problems!

Nervous Nonnie:  I just don’t understand how they can possibly make this work without…

Me: Good news.  You don’t have to. You’re not the writers.  I’ve come up with four ways already without really thinking that hard about it and we haven’t even hit the finale.  Your lack of creativity doesn’t mean there is no way for it to be done.

PASS THE HAPPY ALONG! When you get this, reply with five things that make you happy and pass along to ten nice people. 💜💜💜

Thank you, Cat❣❣❣

A list of five things that make me happy:

1. I’m currently on summer break and not in school *long sigh of relief* although now I’m job-hunting and ugh that’s not fun
2. the fact that I finished about 15 books last month (i mean, only one of them was a chapter book and the rest were graphic novels/mangas but still it’s progress!)
3. good fics. my current faves is a canon-divergent tsoa fic (which i always tend to love) about patroclus and achilles is nothing but a legend that he’s heard stories about, but then one day he catches a glimpse of a man in the woods that he knows is achilles (i’m not doing a good job of selling this i know, but it’s a good read and the writer posts new chapters so often). and the other fic that i was really happy to find and read was a post-trk trc fic where noah comes back to life but everyone has forgotten him and he’s no longer “remembered” and i feel big things are to come in this fic
4. dancing. i was watching actual tv (for once xP) last week and there’s this show “world of dance” and one of the performances really charmed me:

5. along with number 4, naturally there is music, as always. there are some tunes that have come out recently that i’ve been really enjoying (sohee’s “spotlight”, baek a yeon’s “sweet lies”, kim lip’s “eclipse”, triple h’s “365 fresh”, etc. but i’ve also been getting into some alicia keys, jhene aiko, lianne la havas, and i’m really loving iu and gain’s “everybody has secrets”). estonian singer, iiris, released a song that has quickly become my summer jam:

Going Official High School AU (Pharmercy)

Summary: Cheer Captain Mercy finds her relationship with Star Basketball player Pharah getting a little rocky.

Rating: PG

Pairing: Mercy x Pharah

Requests: Open

The rustle of pom-poms and the sound of sneakers on the floor echoed through the gym. Practice was as strenuous as usual, their coach Zarya pushing them far past their limits. Not many, if any, cheerleading coaches ever incorporated putting weights into Pom-pops but Zarya did…

“Weight lifting builds character and brings home medals. You’ll be best cheer team in no time.”

The pink haired woman could probably bench press half the cheer team, at the same time. When their old coach retired the Russian woman had stepped in, and her training was harsh but it did bring back plenty of trophies for the school. Even when they were out of season the cheer team kept up the same routine, and drills. The only respite they received from in between practices was when they went and cheered at games. Football, Basketball, and Baseball they were at every game because,

“Unity builds strong school. Every team must be cheered for, so every team wins.”

Or something like that was said in a thick Russian accent, that in all honesty the cheer team had forgotten just what she was saying as they struggled to recover from one drill to the next. Practice was strenuous but they enjoyed it none the less, and at their school the cheer team was associated in a clique that one might consider the “populars”. After all, they were had gone to nationals and competed, and brought back more trophies and medals than any other cheer team in the state.

Despite the negative stereotype often associated with a “popular” image or being in a corresponding clique, many of those on the cheer team were pleasant to be around. That and many of them hardly fit into the negative popular stereotype. Freshman Hana was a complete gaming nerd with a fiercely competitive streak, she was one of the teams fliers. There was also Amelie, a foreign transfer student who might have fit into the “mean girl” stereotype if not for her edgy persona and way of dress. Mei was the sweetheart of the team, a Junior at their school she was one of the bases and the best at science. Then there was the Team Captain herself-

Angela Ziegler

Blonder hair, blue eyes and the brightest smile, Angela had been on the team for four years. Working hard to make her way to the top, and she was the sweetest thing all the while. Also one of the fliers for the team she was skilled to say the least, but her ability to lead and her kindness is what had landed her the position in the first place. She loved her team with all her heart, even the occasionally gremlin like freshman Hana, and the distant edgy Amelie. Yet somehow try as she might there were some misguided stereotypes that the closed minded would cling to.

High School was a place in which rumors would fly, and stories were spread often times growing more elaborate with each retelling. Angela had a number of stories associated with her, none of which were true. She supposed it came with the territory. Being the team-captain of their successful and very visible cheer team meant that it was unavoidable. She was there cheering at every game, in front of countless other students. Rumors would fly and the smallest of actions could be misconstrued. That was why for the longest time, and still to some extent most of the school believed her to be dating the star quarterback of the football team.

Jack Morrison, Senior, and quarterback for the varsity football team was one of the most desirable guys on campus. Blonde hair, blue eyes, and an excellent build after four years of football made him the golden boy of the school. Topping it off with a nice personality, Jack had a number of girls pining after him. While, Angela could see the appeal to Jack, and the Cheerleader and quarterback romance was a prominent cliche, Angela unfortunately had no desire to date him. If anything the rumor about the two of them going out together had become a great inconvenience when trying to convince a certain girl that she was in fact available to date.

Fareeha, or “Pharah” as friends called her after a substitute had butchered her name into Pharah, was a junior on the varsity basketball team. She was essentially the star player, and there was no doubt that next year she would be team captain. Always serious, and somewhat quiet save for barking out the occasional order Pharah was considered “mysterious” by her peers. After cheering at a number of her games it didn’t take long for Angela to be smitten with the junior star of the team, who could jump higher than anyone else.

Though the feelings between them were mutual, it took a great deal of convincing on Angela’s part to get Pharah to realize that she was not dating Jack Morrison, and that she’d love nothing more than to date Pharah. After some convincing the two were essentially dating but… They hadn’t exactly gone official with their relationship but Angela wasn’t one to push things, certain that when Pharah was comfortable the two of them would go official. Until then she attended every basketball game, and cheered louder than the whole squad combined when Pharah dunked a ball, or scored a basket. Honestly, she cheered when Pharah just about did anything. The dark haired woman could do no wrong to Angela, and truth be told the cheerleader was head over heels for her.

“Weird. She’s not picking up her phone.”

“What your petite amie’s not picking up?”

“Hey can-it Baguette or else I’ll call Leeeeeeeenaaa~!”

“Come on you know Amelie doesn’t like it when you bring up Lena.”

Angela slipped her phone into her pocket after sending a quick text to Pharah, “Where are you?” before paying attention to her fellow cheerleaders. Amelie had an affair of sorts going on with a certain track runner by the name of Lena. The two had bickered from day one, and now Hana had taken it upon herself to tease Amelie with Lena whenever she could. Mei was the only one who made an attempt to keep the team at peace when Angela was busy.

“I’m sure she’s just hung up at practice is all. You guys head on home before Coach Zarya see’s us and decides we need more training. And please don’t bug Amelie with Lena-” That had made the three girls get moving with a call of goodbye to their team captain. Turning back towards the gymnasium, Angela decided to search for her elusive junior. Certain that Pharah probably got stuck at practice Angela wasn’t too concerned just yet.

“She wasn’t in there either… I always give Pharah a ride home… Weird…”

Nibbling her lip in thought, Angela pulled her phone out once more sending another quick text as she made her way towards the parking lot. “Do you need a ride home or did someone else take you? : ( ” Driving Pharah home was their bonding time, and the least Pharah could do was tell her if she was getting a ride home from another friend. Right? A knot of worry formed in her stomach, already coming up with silly scenarios that she knew to be untrue. Did she do something to upset Pharah recently? Was Pharah mad at her? The worst of all was:

Had Pharah found someone else?

“Don’t be silly Angela. We’ve been together for a couple of months. Well, not officially together but we’re together. Pharah isn’t the type to cheat on-”

All small self reassurances were tossed out the window as the blonde made her way to her car, a sight not too far off in the distance catching her eye. Under normal circumstances she wouldn’t have paid the sight any mind, and would have walked to her car as blissful as usual. Yet alone and concerned for Pharah, Angela found herself more attentive than normal. Which is why she quickly noticed an unfamiliar motorcycle parked in the visitor section of the school.

Black and expensive, but worn with dirt and scratches, the motorcycle had clearly seen better days. It was an odd sight considering no one at their somewhat small school rode a motorcycle, let alone owned one. Especially, not something so expensive looking. There was also a number of stickers on the bike, most of them random and only a few really sticking out. “Route 66” and “Deadlock Gang” were two that had immediately caught Angela’s eye.

The motorcycle itself was what had initially caught her eye but its owner, was what kept her attention. Tall, gruff, and rugged the man leaning against his bike was not someone from around the school, or even the state. Leather jacket, cowboy boots complete with spurs, and a cowboy hat rested atop his head. He was a man straight out of the south- and he was also a man who was holding Pharah in his arms. Embraced together, Pharah’s face was burrowed into his chest, arms wrapped around his waist, and in turn his own arms were wrapped tightly about her torso holding her close to him.

That was the day Angela Ziegler stopped talking to Pharah

She had been hurt, her heart felt like it was torn into two pieces. Things that she had previously overlooked suddenly started to make sense now. Was that why she hadn’t wanted to go official? This entire time Pharah was having an affair with an older man? A cowboy from god knows where? He was probably involved in some gang or other! Angela had spent a whole night pacing her room with worry, concocting outlandish possibilities as to where and how they met, how long the affair had been going on, and just what the two of them have done together.

“I probably wasn’t even her first kiss.”

Hurt gave way to bitterness, it was easier to be angry than to be sad. Even worse was when Pharah had finally replied to her texts that night, only Angela told herself she would not reply, and so she began to ignore Pharah. First text messages went unopened, and unanswered. Then calls were never picked up and avoiding her digitally eventually turned into avoiding her in reality. The bright and happy cheer captain, who attended every game no matter what no longer showed up to the varsity basketball games, but made it a point to attend every other game. If she was hurt then she would damn well make sure that she hurt Pharah back, if her junior even cared at this point.

“Probably not…”

Her change in attitude and attendance had not gone unnoticed by her team. Many of them trying to talk to her about the situation but none of them getting the time of day from Angela. In terms of attitude and general bitterness, she had given Amelie a run for her money. Her team was forced to become as miserable as her, not that Angela minded. If she was hurt and suffering then she didn’t care if they were too. There was something about the idea of others going through the same pain that suddenly made her own pain almost bearable, almost. Whatever guilt she felt for them was swallowed or ignored, she was upset and she wasn’t going to stop being upset until-

“ANGELA ZIEGLER.”

A familiar shout rang across the gym, causing the blonde to freeze as well as her teammates, who by now had a good guess as to why their captain had become so moody. The other cheerleaders, Amelie, Hana, and Mei included were quick to flee the scene. Even Angela tried to slip away but another shout of her name had her frozen in place,

“Angela! Why are you avoiding me!?”

“Don’t turn around, if you look at her you’ll be tricked.” Angela told herself, already shaking, biting her lip out of habit, “Like you should be the one asking questions!” Her voice sounded unfamiliar to her own ears, so bitter and cold it was completely unlike her. It even gave Pharah pause but she pushed through, determined to get to the bottom of Angela’s sudden change in mood.

“What do you mean?”

“I know you’ve been cheating on me, I saw you the other day in the parking lot with, with that man.” Suddenly her voice wasn’t so strong or so bitter anymore. There was a shake to it, almost shaking in time with her body. “C'mon don’t cry Ziegler, you have to be strong.” She tried to mentally reassure herself, she was always so quick to cry, too emotional for her own good. Yet tears were already welling up in her eyes, and her body was convulsing ready to start sobbing so hard that she couldn’t really breathe properly.

“Angela, face me.”

She shook her head a silent, “No.” because her voice was going to fail her.

“I mean it Angela look at me.”

Again she shook her head knowing that if she looked she’d lose it. She’d cry and be weak, certain that Pharah, her once noble Pharah would poke fun at her, mock her for her tears, tell her that the cowboy was better than her-

Suddenly, hands were on her shoulders forcing her to turn around, tear filled blue met a warm brown. “I’m not cheating on you, Angela.” She smiled, smiles were always rare from Pharah and it warmed her heart- No! She shook her head, sniffling more, blinking away tears. She was lying! “Come on sit down, Angela-” Again she shook her head but Pharah pushed her back with ease, making her sit down on the bleachers, her trembling legs giving out on her. “Look at me Angela I mean it. Remember when you had to convince me that you weren’t dating Jack? Well, I’m about to do the same thing right now.” Pharah was kneeling before her, reminiscent of a knight in Angela’s head-

“That man you saw, that’s my brother.”

“…What?”

“Yes, he was my brother.”

“Y-You’re lying, you don’t have a brother, you never mentioned-”

“He’s adopted. He hasn’t really been around for a long time. He ran off a few years ago after my mom told him he was adopted. Joined some gang or other, and roamed the Midwest trying to find himself I guess.”

“…Then why is he?”

“Well, you know how my mom….” Died was unspoken, Pharah herself not quite yet comfortable with saying it out loud, the whole subject a sensitive matter, “He caught wind of it and came down here as soon as he heard. This is my first time seeing him in a few years. He felt bad not being here for me after it happened, and for not making peace with my mom before MMPH!” Pharah was cut off as Angela wrapped her in a warm albeit crushing embrace.

“I’m so sorry, I’m sorry I was so awful to you. I was convinced you were dating that Clint Eastwood look alike. I mean I’d understand why you would have left me for him. Oh god I don’t know how you’d ever want to date me after this. I assumed when I should have asked-” A pair of lips found hers before she could continue apologizing or rambling as she was prone to when upset. They didn’t kiss often, Angela always the one initiating a kiss so to have Pharah suddenly kissing her was a change of pace, leaving the blonde more than a little flustered.

“Don’t worry about it, I was way more pig-headed then you were when you had to convince me you weren’t dating someone.” A faint flush covered Pharah’s cheeks, the junior opening up more and more than she had ever before. It almost made Angela feel worse but luckily Pharah was quick to put a stop to any self-pitying, “I want you to meet my brother. I don’t want to introduce you as my friend either. I want you to meet him as my girlfriend and-” Their eyes met, Pharah smiling her rare but beautiful smile and the next words that left her lips made Angela’s heart flutter,

“I want us to go official.”

Sorry to bother, but who do you love to draw the most out of the BBS? Love your art!!!!!! ~•~•

Ohhh that’s a real hard question, hmm it’s a four way tie between ohm, Bryce, Smiity and nogla
I can’t pick just one, the boys are too pretty to not love drawing 😂

so i read in an interview somewhere that Frank’s song Stage Four Fear of Success is about how he wanted to be on the top with his band (MCR) but the band members stopped trying/wanting to reach for the stars with him. It made me think that maybe that was the event that led up to the break up, and what Frank had meant all along about trying to do everything he could to keep the band from ending & in the end him being the last member to finally quit.

Melone is the most stankiest, most weakest, most boring person in the world. You got wrecked by two kids, one of which was wearing a way dumber outfit than you. What do you have to say for yourself, you snot-nosed four-eyes? (No hard feelings by the way. Love your art and the blog. I think you're really really pretty, just saying.)

Disassemble and Restart - Nineteen

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Mickey learns this the hard way.

Chapter Nineteen (one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteenAO3)

author’s note: I just want to say before the last chapter, thank you all so much for reading, leaving kudos and comments. I really, really appreciate it.

Mickey went home alone later that night, but for the first time in a week he didn’t have a restless sleep.

The next day Mickey felt rejuvenated and hopeful. He woke up early and stopped to buy a new phone, just a crappy flip phone until he scrounged together the money for a better one, and texted Ian immediately. He spent the day at work thinking about Ian and smiling, texting him on his breaks and at lunch, so deliriously happy that this was his life - that Ian still wanted to be in his life.

The day after, Mickey went over to Ian’s house after work. Ian buzzed Mickey into the apartment, opening the door and giving him a brief hug when he got there. It felt awkward and stilted, like they were trying too hard to be back where they were, but unable to really do it. Mickey was too anxious that something he said might remind Ian of everything that had happened with Chris, and Ian seemed to be trying just a little bit too hard to impress Mickey. As the night went on it didn’t seem to get much better, they watched a movie and attempted to cuddle but couldn’t quite find a point where they were in sync. Mickey left once the movie was over, he considered saying ‘I love you’ once again before he left but somehow it didn’t feel right, instead he said a quick goodbye with a chaste kiss and was out the door.
