Summary: “This started off as a really cute game of go fish before you had to go and cheat.”
“Sweetheart, why’re you pouting?” Seokjin asked, sitting down across from you at the coffee table. You looked up at him with a frown while he had a face full of curiosity and worry.
“Nobody wants to play cards with me. I asked RM and Suga, but they left to go to the studio. Jungkook, Jimin and V went to go eat while J Hope went to go practice dancing.”
“Why didn’t you ask me? I was just in the kitchen,” He reached across the table and poked your cheek. You let out a small whine.
“Because you make me nervous.”
“But we’re dating?”
“I know,” You giggled and he chuckled.
“Well, aren’t you going to ask me to play with you? I mean I’m free and sitting right in front of you, so.”
You shook your head and his jaw dropped. You stuck your tongue out at him as he shook his head in disapproval. He crossed his arms and turned away.
“Fine, I won’t play with you anymore,” He huffed, making you pout. You crawled over to him and wrapped your arms around him, but he kept turning away. You repeatedly kissed his cheek and started to see a smile on his face.
“I’m sorry, Seokjin. Will you please forgive me and play cards with me?”
“Since you asked nicely, I guess I will.”
“I love you,” You cooed and kissed him quickly before going back to your spot in front of him.
“What’d you want to play?”
He nodded, waving for you to start the game. Immersing yourself in game mode, you dealt out seven cards for yourself, then Seokjin and placed the rest of them on the table.
“Are you ready?”
“Ready!” Seokjin exclaimed as the both of you let out a yell of determination.
“Do you, Kim Seokjin, love of my life, have a three?”
“Oh man,” You whined, picking up a card from the deck and he chuckled.
“Do you, my sweetheart, have a king?”
You pouted, handing him the card. He placed the matching cards down in front of him.
“Your turn, pouty.”
“Do you have a seven, my king?”
Seokjin handed you the card and you grinned, thanking him.
“Do you have an ace, my angel?”
“What about a joker, love bug?”
The two of you went back and forth for a while, asking for cards with pet names attached to the end. It was a game of softness and fluff until things got a bit too much.
“Are you trying to sabotage me in go fish? Is that even possible?” You exclaimed, staring bewildered at the boy.
Seokjin shrugged, a smile tugging at the corner of his lips as he hid himself behind his cards. You huffed and waved off the subject of him possibly cheating in the game of go fish. Glaring at him, you asked for a queen. When he said no with a shake of his head, you were angry.
“I KNOW YOU HAVE A QUEEN THAT YOU WON’T GIVE ME, SEOKJIN.”
“I DON’T HAVE ANY QUEENS. THEY’RE STILL IN THE DECK.”
“FINE, THEN LET’S KEEP PLAYING TO SEE IF YOU’RE TELLING THE TRUTH.”
“OF COURSE, I’M TELLING THE TRUTH.”
The two of you quiet down, but glared at each other as you’re both determined to win. The game got more intense as the speed picked up. You went a few more turns before the two of you started to bicker again.
“THIS GAME FAVORS YOU.”
“NO, IT DOESN’T. STOP BEING A SORE LOSER.”
“I AM NOT BEING A SORE LOSER.”
“YES, YOU ARE.”
“TAKE THAT BACK.”
“KISS ME FIRST AND I’LL THINK ABOUT TAKING IT BACK.”
“STOP TRYING TO FLIRT WITH ME WHEN I’M MAD.”
To tease you even more, Seokjin puckered his lips. You let out an angry huff, daring for him to do it.
“Do it, Kim Seokjin. Blow me a kiss and see what happens.”
And with that, he blew you a kiss. You groaned and lunged for him, sending him falling back. You trapped his wrists to the ground and he stared back at you with a content smile.
“Can I get that kiss now?” Seokjin asked, smiling innocently. You groaned before giving into him and placing a sweet kiss on his lips. You pulled away, big smiles on both of your faces. “I feel like a winner.”
You scoffed, rolling your eyes. “You’re so cheesy.”
“But you love it.”
“I love all of you.”
“Yeah,” You hummed and leaned down to give him another kiss on the lips. You sat up and placed your hands on his stomach.
“I think that was the most intense game of go fish I’ve ever played,” He mumbled and you nodded, agreeing.
“I just can’t believe the fact that we couldn’t finish it when it’s a game that can be over in a few rounds.”
“It started off as a cute game with the pet names BEFORE YOU ATTACKED ME.”
“THAT’S BECAUSE YOU HAD TO GO AND CHEAT.”
“I WAS NOT CHEATING.”
“I SAW YOU HIDE THE QUEEN UNDER YOUR LEG.”
“YOU HAVE NO PROOF.”
You let out a frustrated groan and went to catch his wrists again when he caught them. He smirked and rolled the two of you over, so that you were on the bottom and he was on top. His fingers crawled over your belly and your eyes widened.
“This is what you get for accusing me of such a crime.”
“I’m sorry!” You whine before erupting into laughter as he tickled you. He chuckled, watching you with a big smile on his face. When you came to the point of crying, he leaned down and cupped your face into his hands. You could barely see through the tears, but you can tell there was love in his eyes.
He brushed his lips against yours and you stopped yourself from laughing, falling under the spell that Seokjin had casted on you from the touch of his lips.
“I’m the winner,” He whispered and pulled away, sitting up. You whine, wanting your kiss.
“Not until you admit I’m the winner.”
“I can’t,” You whispered.
“Because I’m the real winner. I mean look, I have you.”
