Topp dogg’s Hansol coming out as asexual just makes me feel really proud and happy since I’m part of the lgbtq+ community myself being pansexual. It makes me feel awed and amazed that an kpop idol is like me and many others and him coming out is so brave especially when it’s so frowned upon in Korea. I just hope Hansol is happy and continues being happy since he finally got this off his chest and opened up to us fans and even non fans. Especially to those kpop fans who are still struggling with there identity or are in closet because I know if I wasn’t open about my sexuality this would have given me so much courage and hope and the feeling that I’m not alone.
I don’t know, I’m sorry for this rant but I’m just really happy for Hansol and I’m always going to have his and topp dogg’s back and if any haters or antis or any negative people come at him, turn your location on so I can fight you.
i just find it funny how some of you non-poc kpop fans go hard when “ educating” us about how hairstyles don’t belong to black people by searching each corner of the internet & reading each historical article but y'all stay quiet when an idol does blackface/brownface, says the n-word, wears native american headdresses, wears bindis, etc. ..but lol okay i see y'all
I wonder how small non-US Kpop fans think the size of the US is because no, it’s not easy for all US fans to attend Kpop concerts here. The states that most concerts get held in is California (particularly southern California) or New York. The rest of the states get ignored or rarely visited and people living in those states either have to pay airfare or take a long ass drive. I mean, the US is like twice the size of Europe! Even California is a big state so those living in northern California would have to take a plane or a 6-10 hour car ride down to LA depending on where they live.
poc and/or muslim skam fans: *try to explain concepts/issues that directly affect them that they know more about, such as islam, racism and xenophobia.*
majority of the white non muslim skam fans: *tear the poc and/or muslim skam fans down by sending them abuse and hate especially through anon, invalidating them, dismissing them, and just downright disrespecting them, and thereafter, proceed to feel entitled enough to speak about their issues as if they know better than them.*
poc and/or muslim skam fans: …. “why even bother trying?”
majority of the white non muslim skam fans: “NO ONE IS EXPLAINING THINGS TO US WE DON’T UNDERSTAND ANYTHING GOSH WE HAVE TO DO ALL THE HARD WORK BY OURSELVES ROUND HERE.”
and the cycle just continues and restarts all over again.
Ben & Jerry, I would like for you to come to the front of the congregation, sis.
When I first saw that you came to defend Jackson on The Shade Room, I first wanted to know…who are you? Then I realized you were on Love & Hip Hop Hollywood dating Nikki, Mally Mal. I’m sorry about that, sir.
You call yourself dragging us, sis, but the thing is, you wrote a check that bounced boo. You had the audacity to say that non-Asian K-Pop fans have a low IQ, but yet just looking at you, I knew you was an each one teach one child.
Also you claim that you were around for the origins of hip-hop.
Sis, appearing five seconds in Nas “Oochie Wally” video hardly gives you credentials. And making a chain for Kanye Kardashian and Ace Hood barely gives you a name, Fat Joe.
Other than the fact you look like a pasty, I never had an issue with you. However, you hopped off the porch too fast.
You are what’s wrong with Jackson and all these other Korean artist.
We are trying to explain to Jackson, not attack him, for what he said. You’re head ass is coddling him won’t make him learn the lesson. And if you gave any damn about him you would have checked that ass before we had to.
Also, your “friend” Jackson is not Korean sir, he’s Chinese. But you knew that right?
And if you so full of “credentials,” why are you not understanding this? If you know Jay-Z and Tupac as you claim, why are you defending bs? If you so heavy in these streets let Jackson and others know we don’t tolerate disrespect.
I highly doubt they knew you though since you look like a tampon, and they don’t use those.
Don’t come for us “non-Asian” fans if we carried your featherweight career to where it is. And ignorant people like you are why Jackson is thinking shit is cool.
one last thing before I log off forever of tumblr:
I am so proud to call myself a juventina. I’m proud that I’m loyal to my club. Juve could lose all the finals in the next 10 years, I would still be here wearing our colours and singing our hymn until my very last breath. I'm proud to support Juve and not any other Italian club, or Spanish or German or English club. I don’t care if they have more trophies, more fans, more money, more success, whatever. I owe Juve so much, I owe especially Gigi Buffon so, so much. As many times I wanted to forget about juve, there are as many times where I wouldn’t still be here without them. For nothing in the world would I want to love a different club other than Juventus.
shoutout to the kpop fans who translate vidoes for us who don't speak korean
Y'all are the real mvp and should be proud of yourselves for showing the world that multilingual ass of yours.
I know translating videos or adding subtitles are hard work, especially with timing and making sure what you’re translating is what they’re saying, I really appreciate all of y'all. And the sad thing is y'all don’t get enough recognition in this kpop world, I feel like all of y'all should receive some type of Grammy shit to award you on your hard work.
Staying up til 3am just so you can upload the ENGSUB version of EXO’s interview. Skipping homework just so you can upload the ENGSUB version of Mamamoo’s latest fan meet.
I truly do appreciate you guys out there, without any of you I wouldn’t be laughing at Jooheon when he falls over, I don’t get to cry with Namjoon when he tells us he loves us, I don’t get to tell Chanyeol he’s a stupid little shit for thinking the green chilli was capsicum. Why? Cause I wouldn’t understand what they were saying.
So thank you. Thank you a million times for existing and taking time out of your daily lives for us non-Korean fans.
Thanks to those kpop fans who also upload Vlive+ videos for us who can barely afford food on the table. I don’t care if it’s seen as illegal, to me it’s seen as you helping out a die hard fan falling asleep at night with a smile on their face by watching the videos they can’t afford to buy.
I read a post from @ladyjonquilinthenorth that made me think about a context in what Sansa might have been brought in Jon’s life. Thanks for this post.
I’m new here and English is not my first language so sorry for any mistake, I hope you can understand my pov on this matter ;)
I don’t know if it means something but it seems that Jon is always quite affected whenever any kind of sexual suggestiveness concerning Sansa is brought up.
Of course any good brother would be affected by this, if it means to bring suffer to their sister, but my point is why bring this very specific subject matter? why not address others to provoke him? If not to create a romantic atmosphere, I don’t see why that would be suggested.
Sansa was kept prisoner, she was beaten, tortured, etc. So why not address these other things? why just go with sexual connotations? To me this seems a way to subtly plant seeds of a not platonic relationship. A man who can’t think about the woman he loves having sex with another. This suggests romance. The man being possessive, protective. And as we see protection is a current theme related to Jonsa relationship, on both sides.
I noticed three moments in what the writers chose to use sexual undertones over any other thing to get a reaction from Jon:
1) The scene where Ramsay sent the letter. Jon stop reading at the very moment he saw what Ramsay would do with Sansa, rape. He bear reading the atrocities Ramsay would do to the wildlings, including babies and old people but couldn’t bear saying out loud what he would do with his “sister”. Obviously anyone would be furious by that horrible acts but the scene, in case romance wasn’t part of the game, could have been played differently. We all knew what Ramsay was capable of, so he could feed Sansa to his hounds, skin or burn her alive, endless other terrible possibilities… but no, the writers chose rape to incite that reaction from Jon.
2) The death stare scene. When they met before the battle, Ramsay said something about Sansa’s beauty and his wishes to have her back in his bed. As I said they could’ve used other things, but no, they chose sex to affect Jon.
3) The choke scene. LF had many triggers to push on Jon, and they were there in the conversation, LF made a list, but no, none of them were enough, Jon only reacted when LF mentioned love, that he quickly understood as “this motherf*cker desires MY ‘sister’ sexually!!”. His reaction was extreme and it couldn’t be different, plus they had Jon say the very specific word “TOUCH” while deadly choking the creep, and again the writers chose sexual connotation.
Why would they choose sexual undertones to show how much Jon is protective of Sansa if it wouldn’t lead to anything romantic? It would be pointless, specially because they have other options to achieve the same goal. It only makes sense if they are building romance.
I’ve read some posts and as I see non shipper fans noticed they used an “odd” dialogue in this scene. Why would it be odd to them? They wanna know why Jon reacted like that. Maybe it’s weird to them because they didn’t get the romantic vibes yet. But there is something more to it than just brotherly affection, otherwise these casual viewers wouldn’t notice.
To me, and probably most Jonsa fans, it’s not odd if their intention is really for Jonsa to be developed in a romantic relationship. That is exactly how Jon would react if he has romantic feelings for Sansa, which he is starting to be aware of.
I might be wrong, of course, but for now that’s how I see this narrative.
I am not a good writer, that’s the first time I write this sort of analysis, so forgive any nonsense. I hope it makes sense ;)
Things that are “creepy”: a couple matching their outfits
Things that apparently aren’t creepy: the ideas of a couple wearing t-shirts to send signals to larries, a couple using teddy bears to communicate with larries, larries fetishizing a gay couple they think is actually real, larries stalking Louis and Harry’s relatives and friends to find where they’re staying, larries going to the social media of children like Fizzy and Austin and harassing them, larries thinking having an opinion on someone’s sexuality is a totally okay thing to do, larries making up theories about Louis and Harry’s actual real lives, larries sending explicit fanart and edits to Louis and Harry’s family members, larries discussing things like “who tops” and what sexual things they think Louis and Harry have gotten up to, larries making posts analyzing Briana’s face to insist she’s gotten plastic surgery, and her body to insist she was never even pregnant, larries using harmful stereotypes to try and back up their theories about Louis and Harry being gay, larries erasing the sexualities and genders of non-larries and calling us all “cishet fans”, larries taking pictures of other people’s babies and comparing them to pictures of Freddie, larries posting the name of the adoption agency they thought Freddie came from, larries theorizing that literally any man in Briana’s life, including her stepfather, is the father of her baby, larries having post notifications for Briana and Eleanor so they can harass them in their comments section, larries creating in depth posts made up of almost entirely lies just to justify why they hate Briana, larries erasing anything Louis and Harry says that goes against their narrative, and larries creating blogs dedicated to proving why this fake relationship, that both people and their families and friends have all said is very much not real, is real.
Hello! How was the idea of Shinachiku was created?I'm genuinely curious
Kishi gave an interview a long time ago and joked that since he used the name Menma for the Road to Ninja movie, he’d have to use Shinachiku for Naruto’s son. At the time, a few NaruSaku fans started using the name Shinachiku as Naruto’s son. It wasn’t very popular, but there’s some fanart of Shinachiku prior to the ending.
Despite what some people may say, NaruSaku fans didn’t exactly ‘claim’ the name, we just ended up being the fandom that used the name more often. Non-NaruSaku fans didn’t care, didn’t have a problem with our usage of the name, or even occasionally used it themselves. They only had a problem after the ending when we started using it much more for some strangeeee reason. Didn’t stop us though.
Anyway, some time after in the anime, some of us joked that a random filler character that appeared was Shinachiku from the future who came to help his father fight in the final battle
When the ending hit and NaruSaku wasn’t canon and his son wasn’t named Shinachiku, it left some of us confused. Some of us thought he was serious about the name. At that point, we decided to take what was once a joke and make it a real thing and so “Shinachiku” was officially born.
People thrust their opinions into the public of what he would looked like. It was either blond hair green eyes, or pink hair blue eyes. Maybe even a variation of red hair and purple eyes like Kushina. In the end, blond hair green eyes won out. I think the filler anime character was a big proponent of that. Everyone was so fixated on him that the other color combos didn’t have a chance. XD
We didn’t give him whiskers because the manga made it clear: Naruto had whiskers after rooming with Kurama inside of Kushina for 9 months. It’s not hereditary because if that were the case, Tsunade, the granddaughter of Mito who had children who also had whiskers no doubt, did not have whiskers.
So while some people draw him with whiskers, it’s not really popular. (and personally, I extremely dislike it so I avoid it unless bby Shina draws them on during playtime)
As for his personality, at first people wanted him to be more like Naruto. Public opinion shifted and now a days people see him as more of a mixture of Naruto and Sakura, but a bit more like Sakura. Mostly polite, but a bit of hidden sass underneath, and even a temper if you dig deep enough. Still a bit goofy like his dad though.
As for his clothes, well, people smack whatever they want onto him. Lol. I’d say more often than not, he’s wearing @pumyteh‘s clothes though.
I like thinking back to when Shinachiku was first created. He literally became a legitimate character in a matter of days and persists to this day. A lot of NaruSaku fans have moved onto bigger and better things, but I’m grateful for the little son (and daughter) that we left behind as a fandom.
When he first came about, we fought a lot of battles. People started stealing our fanarts and editing them into other pairings. We were told we weren’t allowed to use the name because it belonged to Kishi. Spamming. Hate mail. Trolling. The whole deal. But we stuck through.
I stuck through because I really do love Shinachiku. He’s such a great character and I’ve never seen anything like him. By that I mean a character formed from pure sadness, disappointment, and hatred who became something tangible. He’s a character that’s almost accepted fandom wide and even non-NaruSaku fans enjoy him. He’s just amazing.
I plan to be drawing and answering Shina questions for a long time coming, even if it takes me a while to work on things.
But if you are a non black kpop fan and are giving your opinion on cultural appropriation or anything of the sort rn, maybe stay in ya lane?? Why waste your time on something that has nothing to do with you?? Go about your day in non black people land???If it bothers us it does end of story.
If you think Marco is trans, great, go ahead, but I’m going to disagree with you. I mean, sure, Marco could be female on the inside. I believe it is a possibility, but personally I have a different theory. Marco is non-binary. I don’t know if it’s genderfluid or non-gendered (probably genderfluid) but I believe Marco is non-binary.
Why? Well, Marco actively does take an interest in things that are both “manly” and “girly” (not saying a girl can’t like manly stuff or vice versa, but, well, Marco really liked ‘his’ 30 year old body, and ‘he’ obviously had complete freedom for its aesthetic).
Also, the few times Marco does take on female terminology, it usually due to the context. Marco wants to be queen, but that’s just continuing on in the conversation, as they were talking about Star becoming queen. Marco just stuck with the same pronouns. In the recent episode with Heinous, it’s obvious she never clued in that Marco was born a boy, and Marco’s expression had a moment of “what? I’m not - oh whatever” and so the use of female pronouns stuck.
Let’s also look at 30 year old Marco because, as I mentioned, ‘he’ had complete control over how it turned out. If Marco was trans, I feel like it would’ve been more clear - a different hairstyle, a different outfit (if Marco was a girl at heart, I can’t imagine that vest being okay. Not without something to tie it in the front at least a little). No, its a very manly outfit and 30!Marco had stubble (I will pass that as due to not having time to shave). Other things, however, lean towards a more girlish look - the earrings, the design of the tattoo. Other things I probably can’t think of right now.
Basically, Marco generally gravitates towards “manly” things, but also enjoys more “girlish” things to. There are lots of little examples of that, and none of them are played off as pointing to a specific gender even if they can be read as such. They’re just MARCO THINGS.
That’s why I think Marco is non-binary and likely genderfluid. While usually going around as a guy, Marco will easily switch to female if its easiest to do in context. Marco has only identified as female if female terms were used previously by another character. So Marco isn’t trans, ‘he’s’ non-binary.
Edit: Due to the fandom basically having “trans!Marco” as the exact same thing as “fem!Marco” or “genderbent!Marco”, I use it as a term to reference that. I’m fully aware that the umbrella term of “trans” applies to non-binary people. “Trans” here is used purely to reference the popular fan theory.
