If something is your passion, listen to your heart. If it’s what you love more than anything else, don’t stop doing it for anybody.

Whoniverse: Class Appreciation Week – Day 5 – Favorite Relationship: Quill and Charlie

They are both victims of circumstance.  She is more of a victim than he.  He has the power–a power that he has no qualms about abusing.  He doesn’t see her or acknowledge her as a person.  But he never asked for this.  They are bound together against both their wishes.  The arn forced them together.

But it runs much deeper than the arn.  The minute the Shadow Kin attacked Rhodia–when both their worlds were destroyed–a new bond was forged between them.  The histories of their people and the nature of her enslavement prevented either of them from recognizing it on a conscious level, but it was there: an inextricable link–a bond stronger and deeper than the arn.  The bond of survivors.  The bond of two people with no choice but to live with the sacrifice.

I saved you. And I saved you.

Lena Luthor Appreciation Week - Day: When you started loving Lena

I started loving Lena during 2x08. I know that’s kinda late but let me explain. :) Okay you guys, I get how everyone loved Lena the moment they knew Katie Mcgrath was gonna portray her, or how everybody loved Lena right after her first scene during 2x01. I get it. Katie Mcgrath was perfect for the role. And the way Lena Luthor talked about being adopted, about Lex, and trying to make a name outside of her family, it was just everything. And that’s when I immediately shipped Supercorp. They had me at ‘and who are you exactly?’. I should probably say I started loving her when she and Winn did their science thing under the table in the gala or when she helped Kara with the alien fight club but No that wasn’t it. Despite shipping Supercorp back then to death, there was something about Lena I couldn’t quite figure out. But when this scene above happened…

“ I thought you were different. You wear that symbol on your chest and everyone thinks youre good. How many times did your cousin put that high and mighty costume and come after Lex? My mother is no saint but you come in here and accuse her of being the devil incarnate, how long before you come after me?”

This is when I exactly fell in love with Lena Luthor. Not because of her chemistry with Kara, not because of Supercorp, not because of Katie Mcgrath but because of how complex her character is. Before 2x08, Lena was always portrayed as someone who was trying to step out of the shadows of her family. Everyone doubted her intentions. Before 2x08, Lena always made sure she was the best version of herself. Letting everyone see nothing but the good in her. And she was. But to every coin, there is always two sides. and in this scene we get to see that. We get to see the negative feelings Lena had kept aside. Her resentment and bitterness. We get to see how she probably felt that the world was being unfair. We get to see that despite not having a good relationship with her mother, she still wanted to believe that Lillian wasn’t capable of doing such thing. Yes, in that scene she wasn’t the “all good” Lena people wished her to be. but that made her more relatable. This scene made her a real person. The ironic thing is that the scene with her mother after this was supposed to make the viewers doubt her but this scene made me believed in her more. Katie Mcgrath’s acting, the way Lena looked so hurt during this scene, it made me understand Lena’s character even better. Like KAra did, I believed in Lena. And despite having every reason to join Cadmus, Lena still chooses not to. And ever since 2x08, I  love Lena Luthor even more and more.

So imagine if instead of being notorious criminal overlords the FAHC were that one group of disgruntled office employees quietly sticking it to the man through petty theft, mild property damage and passive aggressive notes.

Geoff as the totally disenfranchised manager, who hates his cohort and higher ups more than any of his underlings could manage, constantly muttering insults about everyone under his breath and watching the clock tick the day away. He has somehow, very much unwillingly, managed to accidentally start collecting a little group of equally resentful coworkers to complain to and plan tiny little revolts with.

Michael and Jeremy as workerbees under Geoff, who sit in neighbouring cubicles and spend most of their days complaining to each other about this nightmare office and coming up with excuses to call Gavin up to hang out with them. Together they play really petty little tricks on one of the managers who always screams at everyone, and when Geoff catches them at it one day they think they are done for. Jeremy sees his life flash before his eyes, Michael is halfway through fantasising about flipping some desks on his way out, but Geoff just makes a suggestion, tells them last week’s efforts were much more impressive, and goes about his way. From that point on he really can’t get rid of the two of them.

Gavin as IT’s wonderchild- there isn’t a piece of hardware he can’t coax into working or any kind of software he can’t navigate in his sleep. That’s really the only reason he hasn’t been fired a million times over, what with the way he ignores clothing standards (except for on  his inexplicable ‘Fancy Fridays’), rarely bothers with appropriately respectful deference, spends way too much of his time hanging out at Michael’s desk and keeps breaking into peoples accounts and leaving juvenile jokes and embarrassing viruses. But he’s just so damn good, and the fact that the terrifying head of IT has a huge soft spot for him doesn’t hurt.

Ryan as the head of the IT department who almost everyone is legitimately scared of. Who likes the computers much more than the idiots who insists on breaking them, glowers at everyone who brings him their stupid problems and is way more built than any tech nerd has any right to be. Ryan makes the whole group amusingly nervous at first, he and Geoff have a whole infamous history complete with a public screaming match over an unrecoverable destroyed hard-drive after all, but Gavin drags him along to enough lunches for everyone to see he’s mostly just a very cranky marshmallow.

Jack who works in human resources and used to be so optimistic, legitimately trying to improve everyone’s experience before slowly getting crushed under the growing hatred for the business. Jack who knows exactly who is responsible for the near daily complaints their office receives about anonymous troublemakers but is just as exasperated with the management as everyone else so helps keep them all out of trouble.

They take their lunches together, occasionally joined by Lindsay from administration and, strangely enough, two members of office security, Matt and Trevor. They make a pretty motley crew; half unnaturally peppy, half perpetually angry rainclouds, sharing each others misery and covertly planning their next big rebellion. Stealing stationary and packed lunches, spiking the punch at office parties, sabotaging the photocopier, posting embarrassing google histories, accidentally uncovering their bosses’ shady white collar dealings and making off with millions of dollars in stolen money. Wait, what?

Jaladdin were paralleled SQ and now Jaladdin are confirmed TL's. Do u think it's a good sign that SQ cud b confirmed TL in the future?

Let’s see, we had…

…more references to Emma & Regina’s past.

We had a marriage out of duty because both her father and the man she was supposed to marry said so - remember Charming giving his blessing was more beautiful than the proposal? During an arc where Emma is struggling with her duty as the Savior and how it means she can’t have a happy ending. We had Ariel coming out as a mermaid and her man rejecting her - he wasn’t the man she thought he was. In this case literally.

There was the most romantic scene from Aladdin and it was given to two women - one of which concealed her true identity which was linked to her having a voice. Ariel even said they knew each other in various ways in case the carpet ride didn’t do it for people. The True Love Hook ended up enabling was that between Aladdin and Jasmine. Was that foreshadowing as well?

The solution was for Jasmine to stand up to her oppressor - also don’t tell me Jafar didn’t act like a sexual predator or that Jasmine’s fear didn’t seem to be about exactly that - and to give in to the love she didn’t think she deserved.

After an episode where what Regina hates most is linked to a closet, while love was associated with pink flowers, a rainbow/bisexual colored entrance and the person who told her father how to get there was… a fairy? Really?

Not to mention we also had Regina asking Emma out on a date, all dressed up. Like Aladdin with Jasmine, she was trying to get Emma to open up. Emma’s behavior and lines meanwhile were once again up for interpretation.

She almost gestures at Regina when saying the thing she would like to be distracted from. They could have easily made her refer to Hook. Later the same happened when they let Aesop tell a story in which Emma could have identified with either Aesop himself or the wife who decided she didn’t love him. All of this kept open for interpretation combined with the Aladdin and Jasmine story.

They have both metaphorically come out of the closet, which would explain the current evolution between them. We have an upcoming episode titled “Where Bluebirds Fly”, which is a line from ‘Somewhere over the rainbow’ from the Wizard of OZ, which is queer in itself, but this show has a lesbian Dorothy and True Love’s Kiss took place in Oz. We have a musical episode - where generally feelings are addressed - and we are also headed toward the final battle. Which - considering the psychology of this show - will represent a battle with the self on the metaphorical level no matter who the players are.

So all in all, I thought all those things could be considered pretty good signs, yes.

I’ve done this bfore but ey who cares lmao

Chapter 2: This Thing Called Jealousy.

It was not until he brought Sharon around one day, his girlfriend, when [Y/N] experienced a new emotion around Steve, and realized an undeniable truth. No matter how much she did try to refute it - first to herself and then to Wanda who had read her feelings. There really was no denying it: she was jealous of Sharon. She seemed like an amiable girl, and had taken an interest in [Y/N], especially once she noted how important [Y/N] had become in Steve’s life.

[Y/N] tried to find a comfortable position on the couch in the common room as she was scrolling on her phone, only to tap on it every now and then when she read or saw a post she loved on tumblr, when Steve walked in with his girlfriend. She thoroughly enjoyed spending hours of her time on the Internet, going through her dashboard and favorite tags. She often received confused looks from observers (known as her roommates) when she would suddenly burst out in laughter over something funny she saw. They must think of me as very weird, she thought amusedly. Her head moved up when she noticed the unexpected guest, and [Y/N] sat up straight abruptly and put down her phone.

“Hey there, [Y/N].” Steve walked up to her with a smile.

“Oh, hi.” She repressed a yawn. Guess I was a bit too comfortable.

“I’d like you to meet my girlfriend. This is Sharon.”

Solid motive, I think there’s a strong chance it might be Kevin and it gives CW the chance to get rid of their only openly gay couple on the show

headcanon where Kane’s been secretly watering the ark’s little tree he planted out in the forest. Hoping one day it grows tall and strong, and big enough for him and Abby to be married under. And he has this dorky speech to Abby about how he’d watered all this time; it’d given him hope. And the way it had blossomed had reminded him of them. And on the day Abby says sweet things to him about how proud Vera would be. Raven and Clarke put pretty flowers in Abby’s hair. And they find her a dress from the old clothes in Mount Weather, and Kane a nice blazer. And everyone comes out to celebrate - and let their guards down just this once, to see Kane and Abby married under the ark’s tree.

How to get my attention in two words : Dad Might

One phrase kept coming back to me: God is God, and I am not.  After years of pretending to believe that truth, I finally felt it sinking into my bones.  I cannot control God.  I cannot predict God.  I cannot force God to do what I want or explain why he has not done what I want.  I cannot manipulate Him with my prayers or deeds or feigned resignation to His will.  No one knows the ways of God, not fully.  He is merciful and loving father who works all things for the good of those who love him, yes.  But he does not answer to me, or to any of us, for the mysterious ways he does his redeeming work.  'For my thoughts are not your thoughts’ scripture says, ‘and my ways are not your ways.’  In the face of such mystery, the only appropriate response is gratitude of a child who recognizes her utter dependence on God for every blessing and trusts that he will turn even her sorrows into joys - in a way and at a time of His choosing, not hers.
—  Colleen Campbell, My Sisters the Saints: a Spiritual Memoir

This oneshot idea has been written in the notes of my phone for literally forever, so last night I started writing it up.

Fluff ahoy. Post-Tokyo.

Exhaustion didn’t even begin to cover what he was feeling as he trudged towards the main room, doing so as quietly as he possibly could. Such a skill wasn’t usually difficult for him considering his level of stealth.

But when fatigue was thrown into the mix, his footsteps were a little louder and stealth kind of went out the window.

Robin yawned as he moved. His legs felt sluggish and his signature red backpack was weighing heavy on his shoulders, even though there wasn’t that much stuff inside. He had a feeling his mask was slightly askew too but he wasn’t too bothered considering he’d be taking it off soon enough.

As the doors opened with a whoosh, Robin couldn’t help but smile as the familiar scent of home filled his senses. The faint aroma of pancakes with the smallest hint of tofu in the air, the slight burn smell from the game station running throughout the day, whiffs of the girls’ respective perfumes.

It always hit him harder when he’d been away for a while.

“Rob!” Came a surprised but upbeat voice.

Since it's been confirmed that tfp, rid15 and rescue bots are all on the same timeline, would it mean Knock Out actually could be in rescue bots? Perhaps he would show up with Bumblebee there on a mission! Maybe Blades could get little jealous though

Yes! I’m all aboard
