Cards against Humanity literally fooled 30,000 people into buying bullshit on Black Friday
It was pretty clear on the site that the offer was $6 for “literal feces, from an actual bull,” and an FAQ clarified in the clearest way possible that there was nothing in the box except bullshit (no hidden cards like the one inside the box lid of The Biggest Blackest Box collection). Still, a surprising number of conspiracy theorists still thought perhaps there would be a surprise hidden within the poop.
“I’ve never fooled anyone. I’ve let people fool themselves. They didn’t bother to find out who and what I was. Instead they would invent a character for me. I wouldn’t argue with them. They were obviously loving somebody I wasn’t.”
I’ve uploaded posters for Fooled before, but this time it’s a little different…this time, it is actually advertising something real!
I am currently in the process of writing and illustrating a novel to be posted in installments online this fall. Each week, I will post half a chapter, accompanied by an illustration. The entire project will span about 40-50 weeks. I am currently about 75% finished with the story, 90% finished with the website and…um…about 0% finished with the illustrations - but there’s still time, since the debut is tentatively scheduled for November. :XD: I hope that you all are looking forward to the project and that you will read it when it goes live; Fooled would never have been born at all if not for my followers!
