Thanksgiving Mega Post Part 3: The Food

I’m back from my holiday hiatus, and I figured I should resume where I left off. I guess Logan was right after all about me not getting all the Thanksgiving pictures posted until after Christmas! Oh well. I guess i’m a creature of habit.

On to the food!

Our table setting looked amazing! The turkey was cooked by Logan, and like always, was amazing. I myself made the pecan and pumpkin pies. The meatloaf, corn and mashed potatoes were made and brought by Emily, Sophia brought the pear and apple pies and Amanda brought a lemon meringue pie and some pumpkin puree for her little ones. Logan’s mother, even though we told her it was all covered, also brought a pumpkin pie (And insisted that after we tasted hers, mine would taste like dishwater) The basket of rolls was purchased from a local bakery.

The toddlers and older kids ate at the kids table, which was set up in the living room. They were mostly quiet, save for Emily’s twins fighting over the last bread roll. Of course, the adults all ate at the main table, joined by Amanda’s triplets, who are still a bit too young to feed themselves. Although she is still exclusivly breast Charlie sat by me in her highchair. She seemed very interested in my food, and with her first tooth coming soon, she will soon be ready to try some rice cereal. They grow up too fast! :(

And thats about it from the Fey family Thanksgiving! I hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving with your families <3

Keep Smiling,

consider: the first time bitty wore short shorts and a tank in front of jack

it wasn’t on purpose, not at all, he’s just thrown on some clothes and wandered out to make his boyfriend something good-but-within-his-nutrition-plan to have on his off day.

jack’s taking advantage of the fact that he doesn’t actually have to get up to keep his head literally under the covers, not asleep (his body clock doesn’t allow it) but not confronting the day because no

but eventually the smell of something drags him up, and the bed doesn’t feel right without bitty there, despite bitty not actually having stayed over very much at all, and he meanders into the kitchen, tripping over a pair of socks in the hall, thinking, inanely, god he loves this boy

and he gets to the end of the hall, and just. stops. mouth hanging open in the most unflattering way because he hasn’t fully woken up yet, and now his brain is even further away from online

because all he sees is skin, and so so much of it. pale and inviting and his as bitty dances around, headphones in

and bitty turns, plate in hand, startles a little when he sees jack, and smiles all soft and inviting

and then he realises jacks not responding, pulls out his headphones with his little finger and a bit of clever plate acrobatics, all “Jack, honey?”

and jack’s only response is a somewhat strangled “uhh”

  • every chopped contestant in the desert round: my plan is to make an ice cream that I'll over churn into butter, a crepe that'll come apart in the pan, a panna cotta that won't set up, and a cake that won't bake through. And if all that doesn't work, my plan B is this caramel sauce, which I'll definitely forget about and burn to shit.
