June 25th is Leon Day!

Leon, in addition to being an awesome name, is ‘noel’ spelled backwards and Leon Day marks it as six months until the start of Christmas. This holiday is meant to be a reminder to crafters to get started on their homemade Christmas gifts and for anyone who wants a bit of Christmas in June to take a day to celebrate!

So have a Happy Leon Day and remember to those of you that celebrate, Christmas is just around the corner! 🎅🎄

Happy Half-Christmas!

I love this version of “White Christmas” by The Drifters. I hope there’s a ton of snow for the holiday season!

Union Carbide (Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, 1960), ITT (Emery Roth & Sons, 1961) and Manufacturers Hanover Trust (Emery Roth & Sons, 1961) buildings are at right. The Pan Am (Walter Gropius-Emery Roth & Sons, Pietro Belluschi, 1963) and New York General (Warren & Wetmore, 1929) are at center.
