This is my all-time favourite series - you should be downloading it right now… unless you’ve already heard it in which case you should definitely treat yourself and listen to it again.

  • Dan Carlin’s Hardcore History - As the title implies, this is really hardcore history. Episodes are exceedingly well-researched and is surprisingly easy to listen to considering the density of the subject matter.

  • Sleep With Me* - Honestly, I have no idea what this podcast is actually about because Ackerman’s ramblings are so soothing I’m usually asleep shortly after turning it on. If you have insomnia and problems falling asleep to silence (like myself), this is a must-download - it’s more engaging that rain/wave/whale noises but you don’t have to worry about missing anything.

True Crime

  • Serial - I don’t think it’s possible to be a podcast fan and not have (at the very least) heard about Serial. If you haven’t listened to it yet, definitely give it a go - there’s a reason it was at the top of the (Canadian) iTunes store for close to a year. It’s produced by ‘This American Life’, which is another professionally-produced podcast worthy of downloading.

pumpkin-tea-party  asked:

Pocket Fi, do you like flowers? *gives her a daisy*

Pocket Fi loves the daisy and she is very grateful for it.

Also, to everyone, sorry for the imprompty mini-hiatus. I overextended myself while drawing so my wrist hurts so I’m gonna stop drawing for a while so my wrist can heal. I bought a wrist brace so hopefully that’ll help a bit.

3000 Followers Special // Armor Set Alpha [Release]

WARNING - The LOD0 Outfits exceed 10k polys. May not be recommended for lower-tier/low-performance computers/laptops

So I’ve recently capped 3,000 followers and to commemorate it, I’ve decided to let these armor sets loose as a thank you, and to make a break in the sea of toddler CC :P Unfortunately, I’ve got no female armor to show for yet but I’ll be releasing these in random, intermittent sets, mostly based on the most recent armors I’ve converted that are readily available (so you may see some a little later on, whenever I can get to it really).

Anywho, for “Armor Set Alpha”, you get the default male N7 armor for Shepard in its standard black/gray and red/white color scheme and two of Alenko’s Alliance armors. The armors are all morph/slider compatible and are available in the outfits section, showing up as one entire armor set.

To resolve the shoe/feet issue, you’ll also need to download my “invisible” feet CC to use in tandem with the armors so feet/shoes don’t show up. It’s located in the shoe section and acts like any other shoe. You could also use any other “invisible feet” alternative CC, but I have mine here readily downloadable, so if you don’t already have one, take my ones with you on your way to the download :P (If you’re familiar with my thumbnail theme/appearance, then I’ll tell you now that it’s the same but yellow. Otherwise, just look for a yellow thumbnail with “xldsims” and “invisible foot”).

Enjoy ~~

Download‘s down here↯

Zuko: ISFP [Avatar: The Last Airbender] 2017 Follower Favorite Winner.

Zuko uses primarily a perceptual form of judgement throughout his life. He only evaluates a situation as it is happening to him. This can make him quite adaptable, but we see it work to his detriment in his pursuit of the Avatar. Uncle Iroh points this out when Zuko wants to take Appa. Zuko sees Appa and adapts to the situation trying to take Appa, but Iroh points out, “Then what?” Zuko had this same dilemma when he had the Avatar at the end of Book One. If it wasn’t for the Avatar and is friends Zuko would have died because of his dominant functions tendency to simply deal in the moment in any situation, judging as it occurs.

There is more to dominant Fi than the times Zuko doesn’t think a plan through. Fi is the definition of what we imagine of the word intuition, that gut feeling as the determining judgement of a situation. Rather than deal logically a dominant Fi user like Zuko listens to that inner, subjective voice. This is why we get such a focus on how Zuko is feeling. The words he uses to describe his situation is to see if he is living his life according to his inner judgement. When he gets what he thinks he wants it doesn’t feel right to him. There is still something missing. His decision making isn’t in cold logic or even out of social obligation, but based on his personal feelings, of what will jive with his inner most feelings. It is this feeling that drove him to find the Avatar to defeat and the exact same feeling that drives him to help the Avatar defeat his own father.

Fi being based on self experience in the world drove him to try and be the best son he could be. In his experience this is what made someone a good person. If he found the Avatar he could restore his honor and live up to some sort of meaning in his life. As his sense of his own fate shifts we see him still need an inner meaning to his life to drive him in his actions. He sees it as his destiny to help the Avatar.

Zuko learns best through concrete hands-on experience. He isn’t one for theories and metaphors. He is not like Iroh in this way. Zuko only learns the hard way, instead of learning from Iroh’s teachings. He must experience not just with his Fi, but with his Se in order to a lesson or belief to truly cement itself in his mind. We see this in how hard it is for Zuko to wrap his mind around things his Uncle says. It isn’t that Zuko is dumb. Zuko needs to actually interact with the world to understand something. He needs to go out and touch it and live it.

While his sister Azula has dominant Te and can understand firebending and academics using her conceptual logic, Zuko, in contrast, must wrestle with firebending. Only though really using it and learning from his mistakes, through trial and error, does his skill improve.

Zuko’s Se also links him to the present, to what is in front of him. Seeing the patterns and hidden meaning in things does not come naturally to him. He only learns these lessons and explores these possibilities through his actions. This is why he takes such a long journey to find his true self and to find his own potential and purpose.

His secondary function is what it takes to make Zuko a healthy ISFP. His exposure to the world and experiences outside the Fire Nation help form a different self-image for Zuko that gives him objective consequences to his Fi judgments. It isn’t just about him and his honor, but about the world around him and his personal obligation to that world.

Zuko is not introduced to us at the beginning as a very healthy character and we see this in the evolution of his tertiary function of Introverted iNtuition. Introverted iNuition helps the user identify with ideas separate from prevailing cultural assumptions. When healthy this helps Zuko come to terms with his choice to go against his father. Zuko at the start does not have this function developed properly so he lives up to his father’s expectations of him. He focuses on this rather than his own individual perspective, putting his father’s priorities over his own. He believes so strongly that finding the Avatar is his singular purpose. This is the self-image he creates for himself.

We watch his Ni evolve when he goes through his sickness in Book Two. Letting Appa go shatters the self-image he had for himself completely and he needs to process it. His mind weaves metaphors and signs for him in his dreams for him to decypher. But not being naturally inclined to this mode of thinking reverts back to his old sense of self at the end of Book Two. However, he clearly is not the same as he was and is dissatisfied because that old self-image, once shattered, is hard to put back the way it was.

His Ni also fuels him to deflect others’ influence on his self-image as well. This is why we see him fight off Iroh all the time. We see him put down Iroh even when Iroh is in prison in the Fire Nation in order to deflect and hide his inner feelings of uncertainty and lack of happiness. Ni motivates the Zuko to do this because he becomes paranoid of others and their intentions, of what they would do if they knew his inner feelings.

We can see how inferior this function is in Zuko when we look at his feelings of how his sister who has dominant Te operates. Although she is extreme, he finds her process to be cold. He isn’t wrong, but when we look at how he lead his crew in Book One and how she leads her crew when she is first introduced, my point becomes clearer. Azula didn’t care about the crew but the objective. Zuko on the other hand, though rough, deeply cared for everyone in his crew. His Fi focuses on the individuals, not on the objective itself. He often puts the safety of his crew first. Although Zuko can make the hard choices and utilize Te, it clearly isn’t his default or something that comes naturally to him. He is far more comfortable dealing with people one on one, inspiring others by example rather than through orders and structure.

Zuko often feels he is compromising himself for the structure of the Fire Nation and his role as Prince. He doesn’t realize this fully till he finally turns away from his father. He was putting his father’s priorities above his own. This is what made him dissatisfied with himself and his inner meaning. It didn’t actually add up for him.

We see Zuko in the beginning not deal with his Te properly. He uses a very emotionally driven logic, categorizing people as good and bad according to his subjective will. The Avatar is bad and he is good. Zhao, despite having the same goal is bad. Anything that didn’t conform to his Fi was bad. This is why we have such a defensive and angry Zuko for Book One. While he deals with his inferior impulses throughout Book Two and Three, we see there is this softer ISFP behind it all.

I just cleaned my dash and NONE of my long-time mutual friends unfollowed me during my YOI posting spree this winter. You??? Are the best friends???

Anyway, hi, everyone else. The tumblr app doesn’t run well on my phone anymore (phone is old and dies quickly), so I’m not here much. But since I’m here right now, would anyone like a followback?

Petyr Baelish: ENTJ [Game of Thrones] 2017 Follower Favorite Winner

Dominant Extraverted Thinking {Te}

Petyr Baelish judges based on impersonal practical knowledge. He sees the standards of the game, society, of power. Despite his possible cheating of the rules which will be covered in Ni, he does indeed work within them, which is probably why he has lived so long, unlike traditionalists like Ned Stark. Petyr will often put his personal life and feelings aside for the execution of plans and decision making in order to survive and acquire power.

As much as the system has worked against him growing up he believes in the structural integrity around him and performs everyday to meet these societal standards. Despite his feelings for Sansa (however, one would describe them) he brings her to Ramsey Bolton despite knowing what this man does in his personal life. He is mentally able to tell himself he loves her and to give her to this man in order to make political alliances and for his and Sansa’s power to grow. For all of them to meet the standards of society and play the rules of monarchy.

He loses sight of his and Sansa’s needs in order to accomplish his goal. This can make him seem selfish and cold, however, he ignores not only the feelings and will of others, but his own. We see this despite his love of Catelyn, he had no problem with the husband she loved dying in order to meet bigger aims. Notice Petyr often makes choices that on a personal level don’t serve him well.

He requires hard facts when he deals with anything. He needs evidence and facts in order to be persuaded of anything. He does not make a move based off of a whim, a gut feeling, or an appeal to emotions. In fact, his dominant Te gives him the gift of a deep emotional privacy that few get access to.

This is part of why Te dominance sees the showing of emotions as weakness or childishness. This could be why we see him being more attracted to Sansa as she grows more empty. Petyr is also not one to lend an ear or talk about feelings. His dominant Te makes him extraverted but he is only talkative when describing or solving problems. Hence, why as an ENTJ he is not often very expressive.

Petyr often annoys viewers and characters because he is often neutral in expression or only expressive when dealing out some critical assessment. In the newer episodes we see this with his conversations with Sansa. Sansa knows what she is doing, to be afraid of Cersei, but this is the way Petyr communicates and struggles to show he cares (in whatever form he truly does).

Secondary Introverted iNtuition {Ni}

This is why Petyr does not follow the rules of game and existing structures blindly. Ni helps him see around corners, to go down the most efficient route. This is the motivator and streamlines his goals and tactics. Te makes him use evidence for utility purposes, but combined with his Ni we get his deep imagination. However, when this function is healthy it should help him recognize the importance of inner meaning and priorities as all introverted perception provides for dominant extraverted judgers.

It doesn’t in his case as he is, surprise, unhealthy. He uses Ni as a problem solving tool, only. He uses it as an assist to his Te. We see this most in one of his latest quotes, “Everyone is your friend, everyone is your enemy. Imagine every possibility happening at once. Nothing will surprise you, because it has all happened before.” Now that may seem like some heavy Ni, hence why he is often mistyped as an INTJ. Because of moments like this, but it really is just an ENTJ using his Ni to his Te advantage. He doesn’t prioritize his inner meaning first, nor is he stuck in the theoretical narrative. He is all about that Te utility of getting the plan executed. He uses Ni simply as a tool, an instrument for these Te goals. Hence, why we only see strong Ni when used to get an advantage on others.

Because of this Ni vision he does see all the elements of a situation and his Te makes him actually unbiased. This makes him a pretty good adviser. But that lack of bias means that he isn’t on your side or someone else’s side. This is the dangerous path of trusting Petyr. His Te is impersonal to a fault. He likes Tyrion, he likes Jon Snow, he may just love Sansa, but he doesn’t let that get in the way of his Te judgments and execution of plans.

It is his Ni that conflicts with his dominant Te. Petyr feels special and outside the framework people judge using Te. It makes him feel that no one really knows him, the real inner him. This isn’t helped by the fact that his outsider origins make him never truly accepted by the people who took him in, his not getting to be with Catelyn Stark, and no one at the monarch tables seeing him as an equal. As an ENTJ he assume power, but is often underestimated because of his circumstances. Because of this as an ENTJ his Ni can inspire him to escalate a situation just because he can. Petyr often does this to prove others wrong, to prove he is special, someone to be reckoned with.

On top of this his Te-Ni makes him believe that most people are basically idiots. They are illogical, guided by emotions, reckless, and therefore their opinions don’t matter. ENTJs like Petyr often live by the motto that knowledge is power, which incidentally he explicitly states to Cersei in season 1. This is what really defines him as an ENTJ and not an INTJ, like Varys. While Varys is a spider with his many webs of knowledge he does not seek power, but seeks to play the game for the people as he says to Daenrys. Petyr on the other hand with dominant Te and secondary Ni is more utility focused, rather than focused by the truth. We also see the difference in Petyr being very present when he makes a move, while Varys as an INTJ always stick behind the scenes, using others. He does not seek status, simply a role powerful enough to cast his webs. Petyr on the other hand makes himself known using Ni only when it is useful.

Tertiary Extraverted Sensing {Se}

It is no accident that Petyr gains riches from a brothel. As an unhealthy ENTJ he uses Se for straight up sensations. The very things he is repulsed by others is found in himself. He enjoys the delights of wealth and what they can buy. But being so externally focused with Te-Se, he does not see these possible faults of debauchery within himself.

Se pushes him constantly outward because he doesn’t use his Ni properly. Any problems he has are caused by the outside circumstances around him. He can’t get what he wants because Catelyn’s family, or because of the Lannisters, etc. He finds fault in all but himself. He refuses to look inward to analyze his personal perspective and the perspectives of others.

His Se also makes him very status driven in the way that he needs to constantly maintain his surface image. He is motivated to rise and makes his own crest, the Mockingbird. No matter what goes on in his private life, he must retain his outer role and appearance at all times. We see often how much this is a concern to him. His Te-Se focus often leads him to live two very different lives. The one he shows others and his personal one full of darker impulses.

Inferior Introverted Feeling {Fi}

As an inferior function, Petyr is afraid of his own Fi, afraid of his own emotions. For him being emotional means being out of control and that he can never be. He pushes the feelings down, finding them illogical and not helpful for his Te aims.

His Te drives him towards external goals, like his rank and power. It drives him away from his personal goals not driven by impersonal extraverted logical standards. He clearly did have feelings for Catelyn and may have the same for Sansa, but to recognize and express these emotionally are out of his vocabulary. He comes at these things with his Te, which isn’t very romantic or helpful when it comes to people. It serves him well with politics and the game of thrones itself, but not when it comes to love. He even made the impersonal decision of giving away the woman he has feelings for to a rapist in order to stick to the Te goals and tactics.

He keeps clinging to his Te and Se ignoring his inner self, his inner priorities, and the priorities of others. He doesn’t consult the feelings of others or even himself. He constantly pushes himself to eliminate, ignore, or simply just complain about anything Fi related. He should be above these things that others can’t control. He views himself as above such impulses and irrationality.
