The Urchin Softlight by Molo Studio

The Vancouver based Molo Studio is very experienced when it comes to designs with foldable or honeycomb structured materials, as this video of their latest creation shows. The Urchin Softlight called floor lamp invites for a playful interaction to shape the lamp. It is produced with cold or warm white light.

Honda Motocompo Folding Trunk Scooter (1981-1983)

The Motocompo was introduced as a “Trunk Bike” to fit inside subcompact cars like the Honda Today and the then new Honda City. The City’s baggage compartment was actually developed around the Motocompo. The handlebars, seat, and foot-pegs fold into the scooter’s rectangular plastic body to present a clean, box-shaped package of 1185 mm L × 240 mm W x 540 mm H.


RESMO - Chien-Hui Ko

This foldable floor mat is designed for airport operators to provide to tired travelers when there is a delay. The mat can be folded into many different positions, offering a comfortable, personal environment for the traveler to rest in. The two best features of the RESMO are its built-in shield to provide a bit of privacy and the easy joining of the mats to form dual pods.
