Radel Fazleev Enthusiastic About The Flyers

Radel Fazleev had a solid World Junior Championship, where he won the silver medal with Team Russia. He had three points in the tournament, but his performance was much better than what the stats are telling. In this translated interview, originally appearing on the Russian website…

A question for Flyers fans...

Okay so with the drat over and the Flyers Trial on the Isle over, everyone is mainly talking about the Flyers Big Four defensive prospects, Sam Morin, Robert Hagg, Shayne Gostisbehere and Travis Sanheim.

Obviously they’d be a giant defensive group and by all accounts would make for an amazing Flyers defense once they’re put through enough seasoning in AHL or wherever.

The question is this. What do you think the chances are of all four of those players actually becoming Flyers regulars?

It may be a stretch to think that all four of them will make it onto the Flyers roster or even stay there long. While we hope that Hextall really does see these guys as extremely important pieces for the Flyers future, we know that defensive prospects don’t usually end up playing for the team they were drafted to, and there’s no telling what offer might come up for a solid well playing defenseman.

So what do you think the chances are of Morin, Ghost, Hagg and Sanheim becoming Flyers regulars?

The preseason is over, that means we can finally look forward to REGULAR SEASON HOCKEY!! You all know you’re just as excited as I am and if there’s any reason to be excited about this Flyers team, the preseason showed it.

The last preseason game against the Capitals gave us the first look at what the roster is basically going to be minus Wayne Simmonds. Simmonds has been out with a lower body…

Philadelphia’s Burgeoning Fountain of Youth

As the season gets closer and closer we get more excited for the Flyers to get back on the ice and despite some obvious problems, we as fans have high hopes for the Flyers. But there are always issues, no matter how hard we try to ignore them. The biggest question mark has been veteran defenseman Kimmo Timonen. Since he was diagnosed with blood clots in his lungs and calf back in August,…

Shayne Gostisbehere Quickly Becoming Fan Favorite

The Philadelphia Flyers are not having a good season by any definition of the word. Their recent 4-1 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets was some of the worst hockey I’ve ever seen. They were clumsy, disconnected and seemingly nothing would go right for a team that was on a four game winning…

Flyers future

#Flyers future, look at the prospects they’ve signed recently

Over the past two games the Flyers have put on a confusing performance reminiscent of their more inconsistent patches. After a 5 game win streak against some of the toughest teams in the league, the Flyers have dropped 2 games in regulation. But we’re not here to talk about the worrying lack of effort we’ve seen recently or if they need rest or if someone is too old for the team, what we…
