flush out those toxins

anonymous asked:

Hey so since dandelions are springing up everywhere I was wondering if is any magical way I could use em

Eat them! Drink them in tea! Don’t pick the flowers right away because they are great for bees!

I don’t have my correspondence book with me so I am doing this from the top of my head, so I may miss a few things. You can google “Dandelion magical correspondence” for probably a lot more thorough information. I just love dandelions, they are so useful. And great to have around other plants as well too!

Anyway, I am totally serious about eating them! The whole plant is edible! The leaves are great in salads, and are PACKED with Vitamin A and Vitamin K! If I remember correctly 1 cup of fresh dandelion leaves has 110% of your daily intake of Vitamin A, and over 500% daily recommended intake of Vitamin K? The flowers can be made into juice, tea, wine… toss them into your salad with the leaves for color… whatever you fancy! And the roots are the best part! You can make the roots into a substitute for coffee if thats your thing, or dry them out for tea! Did I mention how healthy they are for you? Yea?! Well.. they are also SUPER good for your kidney and liver, as it can help flush them (its a diuretic). Dandelion tea can also help clear skin issues like acne up because its flushing all those toxins and garbage out of your system.

Dandelion is pretty awesome right?!

Don’t worry, I am not done yet.

I mentioned a bit that its great for bees at the beginning, and it is! Its one of the first things that blooms in the spring that attracts bees and other pollinating insects to help the earth! On top of that, dandelions have a long taproot, which helps bring nutrients up to the top soil so that other shallow rooting plants have more nutrients. They help out their neighboring plants, by bringing up more minerals and nitrogen making everything else around them super happy! So don’t yank them up! They are there to help!

As far as correspondences for magical use goes, it can be used for luck and wish spells! You can also drink the leaves & flowers in tea to help increase psychic abilities. Its also good for cleansing and purifying and banishing negativity! Its naturally protective and healing (see how it helps its shallow rooted neighbors?!).

I also want to add: make sure you are looking at a dandelion! There are lot of plants that are very similar to a dandelion, so make sure you are identifying properly, because the others that look like it aren’t always safe to eat! Also if you are on any medications check with your doctor before adding dandelion to your diet as it is a diuretic!

Ok that was a lot of information. I went a little crazy. Dandelions are just cool plants.

So you cheated? Not on anyone else, but on yourself! The ENTIRE WEEEEEKKKEEENNDD! ❓How do you reset❓I celebrated my birthday ALL weekend long and I woke up asking myself this every question! Since I am in this very predicament I decided to share my answers with you!
1. LET IT GO: who knew frozen lyrics could be so handy? Seriously, let it go, all the shots, hot dogs, ribs, margaritas, cupcakes and whatever else. You ate it, its over. Don’t beat yourself up about it!
2. FLUIDS: you’re more than likely dehydrated because excess salt, sugar and alcohol do that. Start your day with room temperature water, lemon water or hot tea with lemon. Add an extra glass before every meal and shoot to put away at least 3L everyday this week to flush out toxins💧
3. PROTEIN: your body is craving carbs and sugar, in order to reset really up your protein intake at each meal. Protein will keep you satiated for longer and help beat those cravings.
4. GREENS: they can be blended, in powder form or raw. It doesn’t matter how you eat them, just eat your greens! Their nutrient density will give your body the boost it needs and it will aid in digestion
5. SUPPLEMENTS: your body is inflamed, inflamed cells are aging cells so you’ll need OMEGA 3s (fish oil), TUMERIC or CURCUMIN to lower all that inflammation in your body. If sugar causes you to be anxious or depressed grab some ASHWAGANDHA to beat those feeling
6. WORKOUT: I know, this is the absolute last thing you want to do! Exercise will reset your body quickly, especially if it is HIIT. A short 10-15 min high intensity workout will get your blood pumping, workout those aches and pains and help flush out toxins! It won’t be your best workout but it will count!
You are a work in progress guys! Thanks for reading and have a productive short week!

Is it true that masturbation is healthy?

Yes! Found these 7 benefits from here:

1. Masturbation helps you sleep. That’s because getting handsy with yourself lowers blood pressure and produces endorphins, the chemicals responsible for helping ease stress and increase relaxation.

2. Masturbation relieves cramps. Flying solo during that time of the month increases blood flow to the pelvic area, easing pain. The intensity of orgasm can also help—and it sure beats a hot water bottle.

3. Masturbation prevents prostate cancer. Toxins build up in the urogenital tract, leading to disease—but masturbation flushes those toxins out of the body, making men who ejaculate more than five times a week a third less likely to develop prostate cancer.

4. Masturbation alleviates urinary tract infections. Once you’re tired of drinking all that cranberry juice, turn to the other cure for UTIs: masturbation. It helps flush out old bacteria from the cervix, giving UTI sufferers some much-needed relief.

5. Masturbation might relieve Restless Leg Syndrome symptoms. Researchers estimate that 10 percent of people suffer from RLS, a neurological disorder categorized by a constant urge to move the limbs, often causing leg pain, cramps, tingling, and itching. But there might be help in sight—a letter published in the medical journal Sleep Medicine reported on a patient who used sex and masturbation to relieve symptoms of RLS.

6. Masturbation boosts your immunity. Ejaculation releases the hormone cortisol. It’s a stress hormone, but in small doses, it can help strengthen and maintain your immune system.

7. Masturbation makes sex better. Practice makes perfect, as the saying goes. “Sex therapists strongly recommend that women who have not had an orgasm begin by pleasuring themselves,” according to registered sex therapist Judith Golden. “This puts them in touch with the genital pleasure that they like.”

Does drinking water help acne? YES! Drinking water is literally one of the best things you can do for your skin and here’s why. Water helps the bodies detoxification process like crazy! It helps flush out all those nasty acne causing toxins and cleans out the liver.

How much water should I drink to help get rid of acne? Around 8-10 glasses a day is what I recommend. You can obviously drink more just be careful, it is possible to overdose on water

How to incorporate water into your life
For me I started replacing every drink I had throughout the day with water. I got rid of my coffee, pop, and juice and that alone was around 4 glasses. Then just have two in the morning, two throughout the day, and if you want two at night.

Bottom line water is perfect for fighting acne and you should DEFINITELY be drinking TONS of it.

Hey girl! I recently gained 10 kilos and am so upset with my body. I use to be lean and have a healthy body but just recently have gained all This weight! I feel sad because my friends are all thin but they just don't eat. I've tried for two weeks by gyming and weighed myself and have lost no weight. I've tried eating healthy for 2 days but lost self control and binged. I have 6 weeks to look lean and lose weight but starting my diet is the hardest and I feel angry and stressed. Any tips?

Hey pretty girl! Don’t be discouraged, ive been in your same position! I’m pretty tall and naturally really lean, but mannnnn oh man did I gain some serious weight my freshman year of college😬 not fun! Here are my simple steps at losing the weight and KEEPING IT OFF! Follow these lifestyle, that’s right LIFESTYLE, *not diet*, tips and you should be feeling and looking great in no time!

My healthy tips:

1. Get real with yourself. Look in the mirror, take it all in, and stop making excuses. Make a plan. Get determined. Go out and DO IT! Set realistic goals and stick to them!
2. Sorry sista, but no more animal products for you. Want to become the most lean and slender you’ve ever been in your life? Ditch the animal junk. Ditch the meat, dairy, eggs & seafood. You’re so much better off without it, and your body will thank u for the elimination tremendously.
BUT don’t worry! Anything that comes from an animal is also sold in a plant-based version in most commercial grocery stores. And I promise you, the meat substitutions taste great. I wouldn’t lie if I didn’t love them myself!
3. HYDRATE HYDRATE HYDRATE!!! Water is SO important not only for efficiently losing weight, but for normal body function in general. 3L a day minimum. No excuses. Get that water down and flush those toxins OUT!
4. Move your body! 45-1hr of moderate exercise a day (speed walking, jogging, biking, etc.) Believe it or not, you don’t need to slave away at the gym to see great results. 80% of your body weight depends on what you’re putting into your mouth, so focus on making dietary changes first and the results will come naturally!
5. BE POSITIVE! Don’t give up! We all have days of doubt, no matter how in or out of shape anyone is. We all slip up, we all make mistakes, and we all have bad days. Move on. Forgive yourself and get back on track if you ever slip up. You’ll never achieve your goals with a negative attitude, so smile and stay focused :)

I hope some of these tips helped! I love helping out so don’t ever be shy with questions!! Best of luck Xx I know you can do it
