The rain fell from the sky, water blanketing over the ground on this calm evening. The only sound to be heard was the occasional honking from New York traffic and the tapping sound of drops hitting the roof. The air was warm, a light breeze flowing through the city on this mid summer day while the last rays of the sun edged their way through the tall buildings.

Let Them Sing

The flyers flow in the city today, not an animal to been seen.

A theater of isolation, and it looks like i’m the owner.

The grand prize reflects my bank account, couldn’t save more Eddie knows i tried.

Do let them in, don’t let them see, be the good koala you always have to be, conceal don’t feel don’t let them know, well now they know

Let them sing, let them sing, can’t hold it back anymore

Let them sing, let them sing, don’t slam again the door

I don’t care what Nana says, let the show continue

The grand prize never bother them anyway

Is funny how destruction makes you go up like the moon, and the fears that once control me, can’t get to me at all.

Is time to see what we all can do, to test our voices and break through. No right, no wrong, no rules for me, i’m free.

Let them sing, let them sing, i’m one with my theater

Let them sing, let them sing, you’ll never see me cry

Here we stand, and here i stay, let the show continue

The theater rises and shines through the air into the ground. My soul is inspired by our determination and dreams and at once our voices crystalizes like stars up with the moon

I’m never going back, the past is in the past

Let them sing, let them sing, when i rise like the moon at night

Let them sing, let them sing, the perfect koala is gone

Here i stand in the light of the moon.

Let the show continue

The grand prize never bother them anyway

Second meeting

Alright! For you guys just seeing this, I recommend you read First meeting before this one to get the context. Find it here, together with the beautiful fanart and subsequent tread that led me to spontaneously embark on this writing project.

Second meeting:

Another Monday over, another week just beginning.

Tobias leaned his head against the cold window, absentmindedly watching the city flow by as the bus made its way towards Savanna Central. There had been another attack today; a lynx in Tundratown, critically wounding two beavers before the police managed to tie her down. 32 attacks in total now, the news anchor had stated. How she managed to say that number with a calm and steady voice was beyond him.

Brief passage from the light novel requested by an anon that mainly deals with Suoh’s family situation and more of Suoh’s internal struggles.

If someone has already done a translation of this, or picks up the translation of the light novel, let me know and I’ll remove this. Also, please don’t read if you don’t want spoilers for the novel
