The trumpets at the end of that song—that’s what love feels like to me: an endless brass section that goes off into space. And it takes you with it. You’re so up there. And that’s what music feels like to me. You want it just to pour out endlessly, and it’s the most amazing feeling.
Florence Welch on How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful
This was the last day of filming for Stana in Florence. We knew the location of the restaurant, and we went outside it, on the other side of the road. At some point there was some noise on restaurant side, and someone said that the actors were arrived.
I was just there, looking at my phone, when I looked up, and I saw Stana coming into the square, dressed with the yellow dress, beautiful and simply elegant like a goddess, and in that exact moment I realized “So here she is, she, Stana, really exists, and she’s so beautiful.”
Then you leave my head, crawl out the bed
And for those hours deep in the dark
Perhaps you don’t exist
