“If you throw that snowball, then that means war.”
When you and Spencer exited the BAU building, the remnants of snowfall littered the ground. Though, the white substance was still in the trees, bushes, the sides of sidewalks, and on top of cars. You groaned out loud, causing Spencer to look at you with an arched eyebrow. “Have we really been locked in there so long that we entered the next ice age?”
“The last ice age was 100,000 years ago. The next one isn’t due for another 200,000 years-”
“I was joking, Spencer.” You laughed. The genius shrugged his shoulders and continued to walk. He hadn’t noticed when you stopped, and he walked forward a yard or two before stopping and turning around, seeing that your back was turned to him. “Y/N?” He asked curiously.
When you turned around, Spencer narrowed his eyes at your devilish expression. The next moment, you pulled a snowball out from behind your back. Apprehension instantly filled Spencer’s gaze, and he took a step back.”Y/N, if you throw that snowball, then that means war-” He was interrupted when the snowball exploded against his shoulder, spotting his sweater with flecks of snow. He raised his gaze back up to him, wrinkling his nose at your victorious smirk.
“Alright, if that’s how you want to want to play it…” Spencer muttered, hurriedly pushing his hands into a small snowbank and lifting up a handful. He didn’t bother to roll it into a ball and threw it. It fell short of hitting you, giving you time to construct another.
“You’re going down, Spence!”
