The leg press ia a favorite of this fitmums and she has reduced the weight but why is this exercise not a good pregnancy option.

Firstly machines: sitting on your butt so you are not activating your core and glute muscles as effectively as you could be compared to a squat.

Secondly this exercise is not good for positioning baby into optimal position for birth after 25 weeks as your pelvis is in a posterior position. Too much of this exercise will also shorten the pelvic floor muscle.

Vary your leg training with squats lynges and step ups. Leave this machine alone after 20 weeks.

Prevention of dr during pregnancy is key and diagnosing quickly post will help recovery.

Make sure the person you are following or training with has experience dealing with diastasis.

A person with a Diastasis durimg pregnancy should not perform exercises that increase separation and promote this to others as they have no idea that certain movements during pregnancy with a weigh will increase separation.

An exercise which is commonly taught during pregnancy is the dumbbell row or low cable bent over pull.

Yes this looks safe but you need to break it down.
First there is often a twisting movement which pushes the navel downwards which creates a small amount of pressure then as the weight is pulled up mich more downward pressure is created-avoid.

Instead do seated cable pulls or standing and you can do one arm or pull with both
