I’m sorry for all the years I mis-treated you.
I am sorry that I never gave you the chance to burn off those calories that I put into you and then hated you for years.I am sorry that I put that strain on my bones and how I didn’t care.
It wasn’t your fault,it was mine,mine for not caring,for not understanding the damage I was doing.
I am trying to make amends though.I promise to only feed you the very best and give you everything you need.I promise to let you stretch,run,dance and other amazing things that you can do.
I promise to love you and to not compare you anymore.
Self love takes time,days,months and even years but hey we got time,but I promise we aren’t the only ones working on it.

Good afternoon.

“Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.”

All I can think of when I read the above is that loving yourself gives you both. Invest your heart and time wisely and remember that self-care is not selfish.
