Embroidery piece inspired by an Arapaima fish I saw in a fish pond that spanned more than half of the interior of a little street restaurant in Koh Tao Thailand. Our waiter was holding a piece of raw chicken just above the water and all of a sudden there was this big splash as an Arapaima surfaced and snapped up the meat. It was so big, with the most beautiful colour scales and pattern.
So cool when you see an animal you never knew existed.
