It’s Tanabata-sho. Have you written your wish on bamboo? Thanks for the letters and presents. MAKI-CHAN’S WISH:Climbing is my life This… isn’t exactly right, huh?
Sensei started drawing birthday pics for characters on his blog in 2013. His first birthday picture is of Maki-chan! I don’t know if he meant it to be a one-time thing (or to promote fanbook volume 27.5 which was released around this time) but people started asking for other character birthday pics and it became a regular thing for him to do over the years, which he still faithfully upholds to this day. I’ll share each of them in my #wwbirthday tag.
Some blog posts come with funny blurbs or information, which I’ll post along with if I think it will interest you! For instance, in this blog post:
SENSEI’S BLOG: Was the picture of Makishima that I upped before too hard to see? Here’s the scanned version. ——————- A miraculous continuity!
Last year’s stageplay DVD sales event was on 7/7 of 2012. It was actually on Tanabata.
When I told Baba Ryoma-kun, actor for Makishima, during backstage “It’s still not announced publicly yet, but today is actually Makishima’s birthday!” he said, “Seriously?! Whooa, all right!! Whoaaaaaa!” and got very excited. Even his last high-five was full of excitement! Thank you! I think he even said on stage, “I can’t say what it is, but I heard a really good piece of news today.”
As for the event for the Hakone Academy stageplay that’s coming up, it’s on 7/15.
The first two photos are from 2010 and 2013, and the two below are from last month. He/his/him, my name is Rani Rasmus, and I’m a pre-T transguy from Finland. It took me a lot of time to come to terms with myself, but here I am now, patiently waiting for my hrt to start!
