Kara is on Earth 1, helping Barry with another crisis, and there’s a lull in their mission. It’s night time, everyone is resting except Kara because she has too much energy and too much on her mind.
There’s a telescope in this lab. Kara remembers Barry boasting about how advance it is, the latest technology, able to take images of stars even hundreds of millions of light years away.
On a whim Kara puts in the coordinates for Krypton, a habit from when she had first arrived on her Earth and she was desperate for a home she couldn’t go back to. It takes a minute for the telescope to readjust and find the right spot in the sky.
Kara stares at the screen unblinking, her heart shattering in her chest and her breath leaves her body, and she finally understands why this Earth has never had a Superman.
Because Krypton is whole; shining bright, and beautiful,
Earth signs are very good at reading people, and can make snap judgements. They usually stick with their first impression and base their opinion of you off of that
Water signs read people like books, but they also get gut instincts and feelings about people. They know what you want and are about, but they also try to get deeper and know you better
Fire signs don’t make a lot of deep first judgements, usually they judge your outer appearance first and size you up. Then they meet you and see if you connect with their energy, and if you do, they’ll like you and want to get to know you
Air signs are very friendly and love to meet new people, and like to ask a lot of questions. They prefer not to judge, but they also feel like they know you after you answer their questions, and they like to gauge your responses and reactions
“It suddenly struck me that that tiny pea, pretty and blue, was the Earth. I put up my thumb and shut one eye, and my thumb blotted out the planet Earth. I didn’t feel like a giant. I felt very, very small.”
