I own none of the above material, I only put them together for you to enjoy.

Years ago, I went to see the third Madagascar movie in the theatres. The “Firework” song that played in it got stuck into my head, and I was curious to see if anyone had ever made a Homestuck video with that song.

Then I discovered Sho M’s “FIREWORK [Dirk]” video over here:

I thought it was pretty good, but it was short.

So I thought it would be pretty nice if there’d be a Homestuck video with a full video of that song.

And as I kept on thinking about it, I figured it would be a pretty good fit for Aradia.

So, more than four years ago, I started making this thing!

But then, I ran out of canon material to fill out the rest of the video. So I decided to wait until we got more Aradia related material in Homestuck that I could put in!

Sadly, I mostly still needed more action scenes from her, and it turned out that from that point on Aradia started being much more passive!

So it was only with the comic’s ending that I finally got enough material to round up this video!

A significant drawback was that during those years I got a new computer, and I’d never saved my Movie Maker project as a WMV, meaning I couldn’t recover what I’d already made once I finally got back around to working on it.

That meant I had to build up this video from the ground up again!

But in the end, I don’t really mind that I had to. My ideas on some of the parts changed along the way, plus I’d made a text file describing what was in the original video for every part of the song!

I hope you enjoy this video as much as I enjoyed making it!
