Tittibhasana, Firefly Pose. On the left is December ‘13 on the right November ‘14. There is still work to be done in this pose but it’s one I don’t practice often and am very proud of my progress. It feels so good seeing all your hard work paying off.
Firefly Pose, aka Titibasana, is an arm balance that requires not only arm and core strength but also very open hips and hamstrings. Approaching this pose in the summer months can sometimes make it easier as the body is more open in the warm weather. We’ll be working our way into this pose tonight in my 7:30pm Vinyasa class at Sangha Yoga Shala. Get ready to fly!
