When you realize what you’re eating is a piece of art. It’s not just the presentation but the taste that is appetizing. Beautiful view of the mountains. Would be so nice in the spring or summer with the vineyard. The roasted pork belly was $35 but totally worth it. The caramelized pork skin was crunchy and fragrant with a slight hint of sweetness in the sauce. The meat was of course tender and melted the moment you put it in your mouth. Perfect combination with the salted kale.
Traveling 4 Food || Minneapolis, MN || Spoon and Stable
I had a great time meeting @fritesandfries for dinner and catching up on food and the evolving dining scene in Minneapolis. The food coming from Chef Gavin Kaysen speaks to the midwest with a nod to his French and fine dining training. Highlights for me included the decadent pasta and seared duck breast.
