I swear to… finding a picture of Aidan Turner where he’s clean-shaven with short hair, not smoking and not making a murderface is like looking for fucking unicorn poop in the enchanted forest! what the hell!
Ross and Demelza were married on the twenty-fourth of June, 1787. The Rev Mr Odgers performed the ceremony, which took place very quietly in the presence only of the necessary number of witnesses. The register shows that the bride gave her age as eighteen, which was an anticipation of fact by three quarters of a year. Ross was twenty-seven.
Although she’d never tell anyone, Ellie is a little insecure about not having a creative talent. Both of her parents were commercially successful musicians, her brother paints, and her grandparents were both musically talented, but Ellie has never had any skill with a paintbrush or an instrument.
14. How do they react to/deal with betrayal?
Ellie doesn’t typically let people get close enough to feel “betrayed” by them – the closest she’s come to feeling betrayed has been when Aidan didn’t call her back after the party at the bluffs, and she handled that by moping and wondering what she did wrong, trying to find excuses for why Aidan never called.
So, in a nutshell, she would blame herself for the betrayal and wonder what she could have done differently to prevent it from happening.
18. What kind of music do they enjoy?
She grew up in a household full of country music, which she likes kind of by default, but she really prefers acoustic indie songs.
