Imagine: After a loooong day of press, all Tom wants to do is sleep and cuddle.

Note: This is my first Tom/Spidey imagine so idk ???? I have no clue what I’m doing but if you enjoy it, like n reblog I guess !!! (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ PSA this is uneventful and a mixture of a lotta stuff but I’m trynna find my groove don’t judge !!

Word Count: 1100-ish

“Spiderman: Homecoming is out right now! Tom, it’s been a pleasure mate,” the interviewer spoke happily.

You looked up from the essay which was situated on your lap, your eyes meeting Tom’s for a few seconds, a distracted smile flashing across his face before he continues to thank the man in front of him. You clicked your pen mindlessly as Tom stood up from his chair. Harrison sat next to you, scrolling through Instagram quietly. Peering over his shoulder, you looked down to the small digital clock which signalled that it was 11:09pm. Letting out a loud yawn, you stretched your legs.

“Christ, you look like hell,” Tom snickered. He leaned over you, wrapping his arms around you to place a kiss on your head.

“That’s what happens when you actually have to go to university and do assignments,” you replied sarcastically, looking up towards Tom expectantly. There was a slight pause before his reply.

“Hi love,” Tom smiled cheekily, placing a quick peck on your lips. You smiled in return, looking up lovingly to him.

“Um, where’s my kiss honey?” Harrison spoke mockingly, pursing his lips slightly.

“Don’t be such a dick,” you laughed tiredly, punching Harrison lightly in the shoulder. The two boys let out a hearty laugh at your playful behaviour. Smiling, you stood up, eager to leave the stuffy, dark press room as soon as possible.

“Are you allowed to leave yet?” Harrison queried, his eyebrow raising as he observed the basically empty room.

“I’m sure that was the last one for the day. They said I’d be finished by ten, so surely…” Tom wandered off, his voice getting softer as the sentence went on. Shrugging his shoulders, Tom searched for his press manager, James. With a quick two-finger salute, all three of you were on your way to your hotel rooms.

You led the way, your tired eyes drooping as you made your way towards the elevator. If you were this tired, you couldn’t even begin to fathom how tired Tom was feeling.

“You must be wrecked,” you chimed into the mumbling conversation the two boys exchanged as you walked through the lobby. Tom opened his mouth to answer, his arm making its way around your hip.

“Tom! Tom- wait!” Simultaneously, you all stopped to turn back towards the room where you had just left.

“Would you mind staying back for a little while longer? We need to do a quick debrief before we continue tomorrow,” James questioned, his eyes hopeful.

“No, yeah, of course! Jus’ give me a minute, yeah?” Tom spoke, forcing a smile onto his face. Nodding swiftly, James manoeuvred his way back towards the press room.

“We’ll wait mate,” Harrison exclaimed, a reassuring smile tugging at his lips.

“Yeah, you won’t be that long. We’ll survive a little while longer,” you spoke encouragingly.

“No- no. We all know I’ll be in there for at least another hour. You guys head up. I’ll be there soon,” Tom assured.

Your eyes gazed over his wavy hair, which was in fact, a lot frizzier than you remembered it being at the beginning of the day. Pressing a slow, soft kiss to his lips you hummed.

“I’ll see you in a bit,” you whispered.

After removing yourself from the steaming shower, you had half expected Tom to be laying down. However, when you came back to find an untouched bed once again, you couldn’t help but feel disappointed.

Picking up your laptop, you settled yourself on the bed. Your paper was propped up beside you, letting out a loud yawn, you stared back down at the bright. The clicking of the door’s lock signalled that he was finally finished work for the day.

“Jesus Christ,” Tom exhaled, his body crashing onto the bed, his head dropping to the pillow which your elbow rested on.

You hummed, pushing your laptop away from you. Letting out a huff of frustration by the papers which flopped pathetically to the ground, your eyes flickered down to the brown-haired boy who lay, curled up, his eyes closed. The room felt silent as you gazed at the eyelashes which rested on his cheeks.

Carefully lifting your hand, you pushed your fingers delicately through the smooth strands of his hair. Your fingers moved from the front of his fringe to the back of his head, something you had learned Tom was very fond of.

Dozing in and out of consciousness, Tom gently grabbed your hand, bringing your wrist down to his mouth, peppering small kisses across it. A soft smile grew on your face at the simple, but loving gesture. You moved to lay down, resting your head just above his. With your right hand still clutched in Tom’s hands, you brought your left hand up towards his head once more, moving your body closer to his. Leaning down you pressed a gentle kiss to his head.

“I’m so proud of you,” you whispered, your voice cracking slightly. You felt Tom’s face move upwards, his body shifting so he faced towards you. With his eyes closed, he brought his arm around your waist. Humming in response to your words

.“I love you,” he murmured, as you continued your caressing. An odd sensation of happiness streamed through your body as the words tumbled from his tired mouth. Those three words sounded like a foreign language as you realised how much time you hadn’t spent with him since his press tour had begun. Your quietness, nevertheless, had caused his bright eyes to meet your face, confusion ghosting his face.

Biting the inside of your lip, you couldn’t help but smile whole heartedly, letting out a loud laugh. Yet, this only caused Tom’s frown marks and confusion to grow.

“I love you,” you spoke sweetly, your face suddenly falling as you fell into a daze as you quietly overlooked his handsome features. Gently moving your hand to cup his jaw, you met his.

The dull lighting of the bedroom created the situation to become ten times more intimate. Tom hummed, licking his lips as he moved a stray piece of hair away from your face, tilting your head back slightly in the process.

Suddenly, his lips were on your lips, your collarbones and your neck. Searing heat began pumping through your veins, provoking a loud moan to tumble from your lips. Gasping slightly as Tom pushed himself above you.

It was a faint thumping on the wall behind you, however, which caused you both to almost jump out of your skin.

“Stop shagging! These are thin walls you know!”

Although muffled, Harrison’s annoyance was perfectly clear. Melting into a pile of giggling, you could both barely contain yourself, attempting to catch your breath. A mischievous smirk fell over Tom’s face, the tiredness in his eyes now replaced with a glint of cheekiness.

“Should we figure out how thin they are?”

All my favourite conversations
Always made in the A.M.

**Author’s note: this is my first one shot EVER so please be kind and if you enjoy it feel free to follow :-)**

Halloween is by far my favorite holiday of the year. The pumpkin carving, the decorating, and the excuse to eat junk food for an entire night all bring back great memories of my childhood. Even the Halloween movie specials they play on TV get me excited. One movie in particular, though, exceeds the others as my all-time favorite movie: The Nightmare Before Christmas. Reason being because the two love interests, Jack and Sally. I can relate to Sally’s song about longing for her love to notice her. In the end, when Jack and Sally unite, it gives me hope for my current situation with Dan. We were great friends, but it always seemed like he was too preoccupied with other things to realize what I felt for him.

Regardless, I still loved hanging out with him, which is why we had a Friday movie night watching The Nightmare Before Christmas to get into the festive mood.

“Y/N?” Dan said, trying to get my attention.

“What,” I said hastily, completely invested in the Christmastown scene. “I had an idea for Halloween…” Dan continued slowly. “Mhm, okay, what is it?” I turned to look back at him for only a second before returning my glance to the TV screen.

“Well,” he started, “I thought that- since you love this film so much- maybe we could, I don’t know, go as Jack and Sally to Zoe’s Halloween party?”

I turned around, fully averting my attention to him. Did I just hear him right? Did he really want to go as Jack and Sally with me? “What?” I said in confused astonishment. “Never mind, it was a dumb idea. “ He dismissed, shaking his head and looking down at his lap. “No, no! I do want to go!” I said eagerly. “Really? I really want to, but only if you do.” He wanted to confirm. “Of course I want to go with you.” I reassured him. A smile spread across his face, and he chuckled a little bit before saying, “Alright then. Let’s go as Jack and Sally.” For the first time, I was unable to focus on the movie; I was just too damn jittery with excitement.

The following week, after purchasing our costumes, it was finally Halloween. I put on my makeup and stitches, braided random strands of red yarn into my hair, and slid into my Sally dress.

Driving over to Dan’s house was the longest drive of my life. I had so many emotions running through my chest and stomach. Nervousness, excitement, bewilderment, and most of all, hope. Hoping that I looked good. Hoping that he’d notice me like Jack noticed Sally. Hoping that tonight would be like a magical night in Halloween Town.

I hopped up the stairs to the door of his flat and knocked. A few seconds later, I heard the fumbling of locks being unturned, and then the door opened to Dan, donned in his Jack Skellington attire. He looked undeniably handsome.

“Oh, my god, you look amazing!” I said, feeling butterflies in my stomach. “No,” he marveled, seemingly stunned, “YOU look amazing.” We both stood there staring at each other’s costumes. I waited a couple of seconds before jokingly murmuring, “Well, are you going to invite me in?” Dan laughed. “Right, sorry.”

As we walked into the lounge room, I noticed he didn’t have any of his skeleton makeup on his face. “Did I interrupt you getting ready? I can wait while you do your face makeup. I said apologetically. “Actually, since I’m shit at doing makeup, I was hoping you could do it for me.” He shyly responded. “Oh, sure, let’s go ahead and start that so we won’t be late.” I suggested.

We went to the bathroom, and Dan pulled a palette of face paint out of the drawer. The space was kind of tight, so I had Dan sit on the toilet to refrain from taking up too much room around the sink. I picked up a sponge applicator and dipped it into the white paint. I stepped closer to him, and reached up to move his fringe out of the way. When I pushed his hair back, he stared into my eyes. If I had the courage to stare back, I don’t think I’d be able to control what I’d do once I lost myself in his eyes. To steer clear of losing my composure, I tried to focus on applying his makeup.

As I was carefully painting his face, his gaze didn’t leave me. It was almost as if he was TRYING to make me uncomfortable.

Once I finished with the white, I picked up a smaller applicator and dipped it in black. “Okay,” I said, “I’m going to do your eyes now. I need you to keep them closed.” He obliged. I put my hand under his chin, and tilted his head up. It took all of my will power to not lean down to kiss him. I wish I had re-evaluated the option to do his makeup; if I had known how close we would be to each other’s faces, I would’ve refused.

After completing the eyes, I quickly etched the skull teeth going from the corners of his mouth to the middle of his cheeks. Finally, I put down the tool, and stepped back to admire my work. Jesus Christ. Seeing Dan like this was almost too much to handle. “You’re finished?” He asked. “Yeah, come take a look in the mirror.” He stood up and walked towards the mirror. Once he saw himself, he let out a laugh, and stared at himself in disbelief. “This is awesome,” he mumbled, “Let’s go ahead and leave for the party.”

Walking into the party, he grabbed my hand and directed us through the crowd. I was caught off guard in the best way possible. When we stopped, I looked forward to see Zoe in a cat costume and Louise in a witch’s hat.

“Dan! (Y/N)! You guys look so adorable!” Zoe said while embracing us in a greeting hug. “I didn’t know you two started dating!” Louise exclaimed, unaware of the true situation. I froze in embarrassment. Dan and I just side-eyed each other to see who would speak first. Dan broke the silence, stating, “We’re not dating, we just came as friends.”

My smile faltered for a split second. Although I knew it to be true, it was still painful to hear it out loud. I let go of his hand. “I’m going to get a drink. Do you guys want anything?” I asked, only glancing at Louise and Zoe. “We’re fine,” they responded. I nodded and walked towards the bar. I needed some alcohol pronto.

For the rest of the night, I tried to distance myself from Dan as best I could. I couldn’t let the truth of the matter get to me tonight. I didn’t want to spoil my favorite holiday for myself. As more and more party guests came in, I found it hard to get some space on the dance floor, so I went outside to catch a breath of fresh air. To my surprise, Dan was outside as well. I guessed I couldn’t run from my feelings for much longer.

“Hey,” I said as I walked up to him. “Oh, hey,” he said back, looking up at the starry sky. We stood by each other in silence for a few minutes until he spoke again. “(Y/N), why have you been avoiding me this entire night?”

My stomach dropped. I really didn’t expect him to notice my absence. “What do you mean?” I said dubiously. “You know exactly what I mean.” He said bluntly. I knew at that point he wasn’t messing around. I had been caught. “The honest truth?” I proposed. “The honest truth.” He affirmed.

I took a deep breath. “Well,” I began, “the reason that I’ve been running from you is because of what you said earlier. Okay, I get it that we’re not actually a couple, and I’m totally fine with that, except… I’m not. I’ve liked you for a really long time now and I hate that you haven’t noticed me after all this time.” After admitting my feelings, I felt a weight lift off of my chest, but it was soon replaced with a feeling of anticipation for what Dan might say next. But, instead of saying anything at all, he just laughed.

“What the hell.” I barked, infuriated that my confession was a joke to him. I started to stomp away, but he caught my arm and twirled me around to face him. Our faces were only a few inches away from each other. My breath hitched.

“I’m not laughing at you,” Dan insisted, still smiling, “I just find it funny that you haven’t noticed me either.”

I searched his eyes for a tell-tale sign of lying, but I didn’t find anything. It left me with a deep wonderment for him and the position we were in. “So you’re telling me you’ve felt the same way this entire time?” I inquired. “God, yes. I couldn’t take my eyes off of you when you came over before the party. Couldn’t you tell?” I giggled while covering my face with my hands. I couldn’t believe this was actually happening, it was so surreal. I felt Dan’s hands hold mine and pull them away from my cheeks. He then returned his hands to my face, cradling me.

I looked up into his eyes. His beautiful, enchanting eyes. I now was able to lose control without fear of getting rejected. “Hey, (Y/N)?” He whispered. “Yeah…” I whispered back, trying to stay in the moment. “For it is plain as anyone can see, we’re simply meant to be.” He quoted the final lines of The Nightmare Before Christmas. It made my heart turn to mush. “We’re simply meant to be,” I quoted back, before kissing him gently.

Hi Kuya, what's your favorite bible verse?

“And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” - Philippians 1:6

Hindi ko pa nababasa lahat ng verses sympre, pero so far yan ang pinaka favorite ko kase yan basis kung talagang merong Christ na nagwowork sa buhay mo. Kase sometimes sobrang confess tayo sa kay God na He’s really working in your life then magugulat ka nalang yung Christian friend mo naging adik bigla tapos without any further confirmation, namatay. Mapapatanong ka nalang, in the first place, meron bang work si Christ nag end lang basta sa ganon? Ganyan ba ang works ni God?

Isa pang example: Kung talagang meant to be kayo ni God, bakit kayo naghiwalay? Wala. Because it “ his work until it is finally finished”.

Yun lang naman.

Cute & Cuddly // 4/4 5SOS Preference

Even if it was Calum’s day off, you still had a ton of work to get through. As much as you’d love to just lounge around with you boyfriend for a while, you couldn’t waste a whole lot of time until you finished what you needed to do.

You had an early start to the day, opposed to Cal who woke up just after lunch. He had been in a lazy mood since he woke up all while you in bed. It might as well have been lunch considering how late he slept in.

After a while, with you working on your laptop downstairs, you would hear him call out your name. It started out with him calling out every ten minutes, followed by muffled laughter. You yell back, telling him that you’d be with him later. You’d laugh though because he was being silly.

“What Cal?”

“Come love me!!”

You giggled but didn’t reply.

“Y/N, please love me.”

After he finally realised that your silence meant you wouldn’t be cuddling him anytime soon, he stopped calling. You thought you would finally finish you work without any distraction.

“Jesus Christ Calum, why are you calling my phone?!” You yell when you see his name pop up on your phone once it began ringing.

You just heard him laugh from the room upstairs so you ran up to him. You stood near the bed, only to have his arms wrap around you, bringing you down to lie next to him. He pressed a sloppy kiss on your temple and continued to laugh.

“Cal, I was serious when I said I needed to get some work done.” You mumbled but didn’t resist when he pulled you to his chest and rested his chin on top of your head.

“I know, but can we just be like this for a little while.” His thumb traced slow shapes on your hip and you knew he had won.

“But Cal…”

“Y/N, I never usually have days like this. I don’t want to sound like I’m complaining, but I really missed being like this. Don’t you?” He mumbled.

You sighed and let your arms wrap around his torso, pulling him closer. “Of course I do.” You smiled up at him, gently pressing your lips to his.

He tangled his legs around yours and you were grateful that he wanted you in his arms. You forgot why you were too busy to be with him when he begun to hum in your ear. He’d leave light kisses all over, making you feel special like he always did. He’d mumble stupid and silly things just to make you laugh.

“I love you.” You heard him whisper. Just before you felt yourself growing tired, you felt his thumb brush your cheek.

“Love you too.” You mumbled back and let your heard rest on his chest, falling asleep to his quiet humming.

You were scrolling through your phone when Michael walked in. You looked up for a few moments to notice a small frown on his face. Before you could ask him what was wrong he walked to you, silently sprawling over you, hiding his head in the crock of your neck. Your eyes went wide with surprise when he tugged at your hips to bring you closer.

“Shh, don’t worry about me, carry on with whatever you were doing before.” He mumbled.

You knew better then to push him in explaining why he seemed upset so you took your phone and continued scrolling through whatever. After a few moments you couldn’t take his silence anymore.

“Michael.” You said. Your hands went to brush his hair away so you could look at him.

“Hmmm.” He grumbled.

You cupped his face in your hands and kissed him quickly. “What’s up your ass huh? You alright?”

“It’s… ugh whatever. It doesn’t matter. Can’t I just cuddle with you please?” His lips turned up into a small smile and kissed your nose. “I like being this close to you.” He mumbled.

Just as you were about to speak the door opened and Luke stumbled in, fiddling with his fingers. Michael turned slightly to glare at Luke.

“Fuck off.” Michael said immediately and went back to pulling you tight against him. He didn’t bother to wait for Luke to reply before burying his head again in your neck, leaving light kisses.

Luke sighed. “I’m sorry Mikey, we didn’t mean it.” He said apologetically while giving you a quick grin.

Your boyfriend was being a sore baby, probably pissed off with some stupid joke the rest of the guys pulled on him. “Leave me alone with Y/N and I’ll see if I forgive you. “ Michael’s muffled replied caused Luke to roll his eyes.

Luke mouthed to you, “Drama queen.” He waved a quick goodbye, closing the door being him.

You simply laughed and your boyfriend laughed along with you. “You can be such a princess sometimes.” You said. He leaned in for a quick kiss and you couldn’t help but laugh again with him.

Today probably wasn’t your best day. You were thankful the moment you stepped through the door of your home.

“Y/N?” You heard Luke’s voice yell out.

You let out a tired groan in response. After setting your stuff aside, your boyfriend came by your side, wrapping his arms around you.

“Hey,” He mumbled after he kissed your forehead. “How was your day?”

“It was horrible.” Your answer was muffled as you buried your head in his chest, hugging him close.

“Come here with me.” You sluggishly followed him into the lounge room.

You laid your head down on the couch and stretched yourself comfortably. With your eyes closed, you heard Luke shuffle around the room. Within a matter of minutes you heard the introduction of one of your favourite movie playing.

You opened your eyes slightly and watched Luke walk over to you. “I’ll be back in a second.” He pressed his lips lightly against yours and you closed your eyes again.

A few moments later you felt a shift in the couch and looked up at Luke who simply brought you up against him, letting you lay your head against his chest. With his body lying across the couch, his feet reaching past the arm rest, he had you lie over him. His arms were wrapped around you and his chin rested comfortably over your head.

“What did you do?” You whispered.

“Ordered in some pizza.” He brushed your hair back when you looked up to smile at him.

You loved when he was like this. You didn’t have to tell him what happened in your day. All you had to do was to tell him it wasn’t the best day and he’d understand. He’d let you rest and be by your side the whole time. With your favourite movie playing in the background and his occasional humming, you’d have your eyes shut but you still knew that Luke would be looking down at you with a smile.

“Why are you so good to me?” You kissed him.

His thumb brushed over your cheek and he grinned.  “I know you had a pretty shit day, so I know you’d want time at home to be happy and peaceful.”

“Thank you.”

“I’ve had shit days before and you’ve taken care of me millions of times. The least I could do is cuddle you forever and eat pizza and watch movies.” He smiled.

“That sounds perfect to me.”

“How could you forget to check the weather?” You sighed when you finally walked through the door of your home.

Ashton followed closely behind, frowning. “I don’t know okay, I was just excited.”

“The only logical thing to do is to see if its gonna freaking storm but no-“ You stopped talking when Ashton silently walked past you, taking off his drenched jacket and shoes.

You quietly did the same, watching your boyfriend’s upset expression. After both of you had changed from your drenched clothing into warm pyjamas, you went over to Ashton who was silently on his phone.

“Ash…” You said softly, only get a grunt in response. You sat next to him, laying your head on his shoulder. “I’m sorry I was being a bitch before.”

He put his phone down and sighed. He moved his arm to tug you to his side. “I’m sorry too.” He kissed your temple. “I ruined our day.”

“It’s fine.” You smiled up at him.

“But it isn’t.” He ran his fingers through his hair. “I’ve planned this day for us to do something adventurous and fun. We haven’t been together in in a while and I really wanted to make it special.”

You kissed him lightly. “Well we’re together now.”

You two decided to spend the rest of the day in bed, just talking about anything and everything. He’d have you flush against him, talking softly and saying silly things that made you giggle into his chest. He’d pepper kisses whenever, letting your arms wrap around his waist with your head fitted nicely in between his neck. While you would be talking his hands would find their way to your waist, and before doing anything he’d give you a naughty grin, only to have you erupt in laughter begging him to stop tickling you.

“You know, today didn’t have to be extravagantly special.” You mumbled while he rubbed his thumb of your hips.

“I know,” He said, “I just wanted to make you happy.”

“I’m gonna be happy either way with you. It doesn’t bother me what we do.” You pressed your palm to his cheek, kissing him slowly.

His teeth tugged on your bottom lip. “I realised I’d much rather be here with you, like this.”

They Never Say “Second TIme’s the Charm”

Jim Kirk, tribute from district twelve, was not meant to fall in love with Leonard McCoy, tribute from district seven, but it did happen and this, well, this is the story of the two weeks proceeding the 3rd Quarter Quell, and their second time facing the trials and tribulations of the arena. Will they be so lucky to make it out a second time? Lightning never strikes the same place twice, but for one of our lucky tributes, it’s going to have to.

kind of spoilery but I couldn’t resist Set totally inspired by Shannon’s awesome fic, linked above and that you should go on and read
