Pre-wedding jitters get everyone, right? What about pre-wedding fights? Caterer, DJ vs. band, sit down vs buffet. This is my fighting head canon with Jensen and Nicole.
They had just started the wedding planning and things were already rocky. Nicole thinks she was crazy to believe things could work out so easily between her and Jensen. He is a celebrity and she works three jobs and goes to school. In Kansas, of all places; not exactly a mecca for the rich and famous.
Jensen wanted to have the wedding in Texas. Nicole always dreamed of a wedding in her hometown. She didn’t want to ask her friends and family to travel and incur all the extra expense. Don’t even get her started on increasing their wedding budget to hold the ceremony and reception there.
The fight started via Facetime until Jensen was called back to the set. It spilled over into phone calls every chance he got to call her; then finally dwindled down to angry texts from one another. Nicole cried herself to sleep for two nights, but sleep was far from what she did. It wasn’t until the third night, tears streaming down her face when a knock sounded at her door.
Jensen stood there, a bouquet of the pinkish-orangy tulips she loved and tears in his own eyes. Apologies and kisses were exchanged when they both realized it didn’t matter where they got married, all that mattered was that they did.
Jensen agreed to have the wedding in Nicole’s hometown, if she agreed to let him pay for everything. He wanted her to have the wedding she had dreamed of her entire life. She agreed with one condition, he couldn’t buy her dress.
