Have you been telling yourself for years that this is the year you will finally get around to reading more classics, but then you don’t? Join the club!
I don’t know about you, but I actually really enjoy classics. My problem is that these brilliant contemporary authors keep writing new books, and my poor neglected classics end up buried at the bottom of my TBR.
Well, this year I’m trying to change that–beginning this month (February)–and I’m hoping some of you might join me.
So how does this work?
I have decided to try to read about one classic a month, and I’ve chosen the final week of each month to do it.
If you want to join, all you have to do is pick a classic you want to read and read it :)
You don’t have to read what anyone else is reading, but buddy reads can be lots of fun and add extra motivation. If you want to buddy read with me, feel free to send me a message about the book(s) you’re interested in.
- You can choose the last 7 days (that’s my plan),
- or however many days appear at the bottom of your calendar, like this:
(I just used March because February is actually 7 days long…and yes I’m aware of how awful my red line is :p )
If you want to share what you’re reading, or find a buddy, use the tag #ClassicsCatchUp
One final thing before I stop babbling. I would like to thank tea-books-lover for being such a huge help for me while I was working on this. I don’t think I would have been brave enough to actually go through with trying to create this without you, so thank you!
That’s it! Happy reading everyone!
