I originally intended to colour this page before posting it but I’ve been working on it for over a month (I haven’t had much time since I finally got a full-time job) and I couldn’t wait to show it off any longer. I hope you enjoy this dumb joke as much as I did.
The idea came from the fact that almost every autobiographical webcomic made by a woman I’ve seen includes a joke about them sniffing their boyfriend’s clothes, and from how common it is to see Linoa wearing Squall’s jacket in fan art.
Trying this again. Why am I reposting this, you may ask? Well, I have just found out that Tumblr now straight up hides posts containing links to DeviantArt among many other sites that artists depend on to give their work exposure from searches (I reblogged a comprehensive list somebody else posted earlier), so unless they already have a strong following that’s sure to reblog their work a lot, you’re shit out of luck if you link to them.
Why Tumblr would do that, especially without warning its userbase about it, when such a large amount of said userbase is made of artists promoting their work, and why they seem to actively punish people for linking to those sites, but without even telling them they’re being punished, I don’t know.
So anyway, here’s my explanation of why Quistis stops wearing her glasses, hope it does better now that I’m not linking it to DA any more. If you want to check out the high-res version, go to DA and search for “Neije”, which is my username there and it should be the first thing that pops up.
And if you liked this and want to support my art, please do reblog it so that it may reach more people, you’d be surprised how well word-of-mouth still works, even on the Internet. And of course, do so with other artists you want to support as well. As you may have guessed, they need it now more than ever.
